shiho - plays like everything, but she especially likes fighting games and ace attorney. also plays every mario game when it comes out but only bcs "of how popular he is"

minori - LOVES needy streamer overload and cute rhythm games like melatonin. she also deff plays like harvest moon & stardew valley & stuff

haruka - before she became an idol she would play like silly mobile games but she never really got into games

rui - rui makes his own video games (rom hacks the shit outa every game he plays) (also has homebrewed his wii and wii u)

kanade - likes low stress games like melatonin and animal crossing. she also plays like stupid sims like bee simulator and placid plastic duck sim (one of her favs). she doesnt like multiplayer games that much though

mafuyu - she had a gameboy advanced that her dad got her when she was younger and she played like any game on clearance bcs her mom would get pissed if a game cost too much. that gamebot is now smashed and sold for parts, so are all the games

Sen - he said that he didn't care for the dog at first (and he still says he dosent care for them) but theyre his best friend and he would take a bullet for his dog. He talks to his pet in a really high pitched baby voice when no one else is around lmao

Kamakiri - if its a bully breed hes fine but if its a small dog like a chihuahua he kinda scoffed at first but he likes the little guy. He calles him ferocious and trained him to attack peoples ankles on command

Kuroiro - he named them greg the dark overload and ruler of hell or some shit like that and then its just a corgi that wont stop trying to drink toilet water or smthn like that. He loves it more than life itself.

Kodai - she takes standard care of her dog and is really appreciative for the little guy but its a bit hard to tell just how much she cares for the dog on the surface. Her dog follows her around so much and simply sits with her when in groups and stuff. Her dog has her personality lmao

It was a bad habit, name searching yourself online, but Max couldn’t help but scratch that itch. And now that he and Adam Cole were tearing it up in this blind eliminator tournament, he had even more things to search for: Adam’s name, Double Clothesline, Better Than You Bay Bay, BTYBB. It was so fucking weird seeing people actually saying nice things about him online. Saying he was funny, that he was really growing as a person, how being with Adam had been so good for both of them. Lots of pics of him and Adam, some even with glittery hearts: I love them so much I hope they never break up.  

And Max had to bite his metaphorical lip to keep from replying me too.

While trolling through these glowing tweets and posts Max came across a meme. It featured a pic of him and Adam. They were standing in the ring. The camera had captured a moment when the two had caught each other’s eye. They had near identical fond smiles, a glint in their eyes that seemed to say This is fun. I like you.  Max could not ever recall looking at someone like that before, of having someone look at him like that before.

Across the picture text was overlaid.

It made Max grin. Sure the image was just a piece of shit photoshop that looked like it was made by a challenged eight grader. But it was cute. Maybe it would also make Adam chuckle.

He started a text to Adam, writing a self-deprecating message to go along with the meme: Check out this corny fan shit lol. But he paused before hitting send. What if his words and ‘lol’ weren’t enough? What if this stupid meme revealed way too much of how Max actually felt? Cause if Adam were to whisper something like that, that would be a Rubicon moment, a point of no return for Max. Because already he needed Adam so much. If he knew that Adam needed him back, he’d be locked in. Adam would become his world.

Max scowled, peeved at his reticence. Why was he overthinking a stupid meme? He hit send.

And regretted it immediately. What if Adam thought it was cringe? What if Adam thought he was cringe? What if—

Felt like messing around in photoshop today, so, what started as a want to create some franchise icons for Smash turned into full character mockups, so I put together my 10 most wanted characters for Smash Bros., whatever the next game looks like, and I’d like to post them and talk about them a bit.

Quote is I think my most wanted newcomer to Smash, I really like and appreciate everything Cave Story has done, and I think if you’re talking about indie games, Cave Story has probably had the most influence on the industry. Kids today probably don’t know much of anything about this game, but trust me when I say there’d be no Hollow Knight, no Ori, no Celeste, without Quote.

This one might be a little obvious nowadays, but I am fully behind the Waluigi train. Just one point of contention, I think people undersell his potential by just having him reference different sports games and spin-offs. I think the real play is to come up with a wholly original kit based around being a dirty cheater and trickster with a penchant for explosives.

I’d much rather have Paper Mario than Dr. Mario if I’m being entirely honest with you.

This one’s a bit weird, because I don’t have a huge fondness for Excitebike the game or Excitebiker the character, I’m just enamored with this concept of a fighting game character who fights entirely from the back of a motorcycle. I just think that’s wicked as hell. I’ll take it in whatever form I can.

Metroid Dread is in strong contention for my favorite Metroid game ever, and it did finally give us a character with a body plan and toolkit that lends itself to Smash, outside of Sylux and the Hunters, whom I’m not the biggest fans of. I’ve had some contentious history with the way Smash fans talk about Metroid, so I guess I’ll put it out now that I think if, at this point, you’re not vouching for Raven Beak, you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Love me some DS VNs, Professor Layton I think at this point has the strongest ties to Nintendo and, since Phoenix Wright got to play in Marvel 3, it should be his time to shine, though I wouldn’t be opposed to any of them.

Honestly, every generation of Pokemon there’s a couple of new mons that I think would make sick Smash characters, and will inevitably get passed up for a lame starter. Nihilego deserves a spot, dammit, she’s more plot important than any number of fire/fighting muscleheads. But if we’re shilling for the most recent gen, you can’t go wrong with a giant hammer.

The Heavy is commonly in talks around Smash Bros. wishlists, especially here in the West, but the obvious problem rears its head pretty quickly. He’s a giant, lumbering, immobile mass whose main weapon takes several seconds to start up and then chews through anything it hits. This is my counterproposal, I think the Scout is just as iconic as the Heavy, comes with a lot of fun weapons and abilities, and actually has some mobility. Imagine using a downward Force-A-Nature shot to recover while spiking someone into the blast zone!

This is for sure a weird one, but once the idea came to me I started getting really attached to it. The number of Enderman variants from Minecraft Dungeons gives the Enderman a surprising amount of variance to pull from, and the Ender Dragon could be its Final Smash.

For the final suggestion, this is for sure a “there’s no chance in hell” but also “it would be really funny”. Scorpion, I think, best represents the aesthetics of Mortal Kombat, a ninja with fire, bladed weapons, and the ability to teleport, which centers him more than Sub-Zero who uses ice, Raiden who uses lightning, and Liu Kang who’s just a martial artist. Leaning heavy on the fire aspect is also a good way to nerf MK’s hypergore for a Rated E10+ game, though that really is the central appeal of Scorpion, trying to shove this edgelord into a kiddy cartoon beat-em-up.

okay okay this is a very controversial opinion. but i think that if someone drew a art for you. gift, commission, trade, it doesn't matter. you have the right to redline it. like not to show the donor that they fucked up. well. just for myself. because i want to enjoy the art and if i see a mistake in the anatomy it makes my eyes ache. and these are my characters. i love them. and i want them to look better or more like themselves and i don't want to write to a kind strong and beautiful person whole draw this work of art to silly me that like "bro there's so much crap and mistakes here, redo everything". it's easier for me to spend half an hour doing plastic/liquify surgery in photoshop and apply a couple of filters… but be satisfied. the donor's work won't get any worse from this. i will still brutally appreciate their work and time. but… fuck i can do it better.

just curious, whta app/program do you use?

Okay, since I'm not the type of person to stick to only one art program/app and whatnot, here's my short reviews of every art program I ever used and the ones I still use.

PaintToolSai1/2 - pretty useful for people who don't own a drawing tablet cuz it has an amazing curve tool. Otherwise, I try not to think abt that abomination of an program.

GIMP- ummmmm..... it exists. Def not for drawing, more for photo editing or fixing ur art

Photoshop [multiple vers] - OK everyone sees it as a Lord and Savior of art. I say it's overloaded with so much stuff it can be overwhelming sometimes. Also better off fixing photos and drawings on it if you're not a professional.

FireAlpaca - making small animations on it was actually pretty fun, simple, easy, I'd recommend it to any beginner who doesn't need complicated tools just yet. But wants to try out new things and experiment.

IbisPaint- a lot of people use it and prase it, idk the damn thing never clicked with me. Especially after the "glitch that erases ur drawings with a square" thing, Tried it, now I avoid it. Nothing interesting abt it.

Medibang [currency use] - Currently wondering when they're going to treat the Pc verson and the app verson the same. A lot of stuff that are on pc are not in the app so lookout for that. it's alright, great for me and my lineart and comics and stuff. Kinda gets overwhelmed when folders get introduced for the drawing. But he's a champ yo, alright for paintings but not perfect. (Unfinished drawing)

Sketchbook [currently use]- alright for paintings, not so much for lineart at least to me. Some brushes are so overpowered that the app verson struggles to render it properly. (One of my unfinished paintings in it)

Krita [currently use] - It's okay. As I stated way before, I'm in a love/hate relationship with it. It has everything an artist would need, but the damn thing crushes on itself way too much . Bro is so overpowered he struggles to find balance in his life. Eh but I love it anyway, I used krita since the proper launch when it had nothing but few brushes and stuff, when it looked like a SAI copy or sum. Amazing to think that it was inspired by GIMP out of all things. (Fast animation I made in it)

Have in mind there are lot's more programs and apps out there. It depends on what you need from a program and your own skills, and lot's of other things.... they all have their strong and weak points, that's for sure.
