girl if the speech din made to bo-katan was romantic then what the hell was that entire speech he made to boba fett. "i gave you my word, i'm with you until we both fall" is WAY more romantic than "these are the reasons i serve you lady kryze" like bro. be for real.

me finishing the entirety of the mandalorian + the book of boba fett in four days like a fucking lunatic because i'm much too enamoured by sabine wren aka our lesbian jedilorian chaotic padawan....
this should be a research thesis
no because i do hope sabine and ahsoka gets to go back to the known galaxy so sabine can return to mandalore and see that it's now a recovering, if not flourishing already, planet for her and her people
can you imagine sabine, being both a jedi padawan and a mandalorian warrior, being accepted in both?
she's going to be the next mandalorian jedi, even the first within her lifetime. sabine, with all of her mandalorian pride and exceptional skills, paired with her jedi training under ahsoka
do you know how amazing it would be to watch sabine return to mandalore, meet with bo-katan as it's mand'alor, witnessing the great forge burning, and watch as the tribes of mandalore working past their differences to rebuild their home planet again?
oh i need to let this mandoverse soak in and brew

I honestly don't think it was just the content of The Mandalorian S3 that took away that sense of magic people had with the first 2 seasons. I think a big part of it was the long wait.
There was less than a year between the premieres of season 1 and season 2. It capitalized on the massive success and excitement season 1 had by going right into the next chapter, keeping the momentum going and allowing for fans new and old to thrive.
There was two and a half years between the premieres of season 2 and season 3. Many of the fans from before had already gone away by the time season 3 finally came around, and those who were left had the highest of expectations after waiting so long for the next chapter of Din's and Grogu's story. When those expectations weren't completely met, it was upsetting for those who stuck around.
That's why I can't blame other fans for saying the magic was lost on them this season. I understand some of that, too, even if I still loved season 3 and remain active in the fandom. The time gap between season 2 and season 3 ended up being quite harmful to the show itself. Most of it was obviously out of anyone's hands, most notably the global pandemic that kept many productions halted, but I think the decision to continuously bump back the release of The Mandalorian season 3 really did end up hurting its reception in the long run.

i am NOT a bo-katan hater, i actually really liked her character in the clone wars. she was interesting BECAUSE she was a horrible person. her horrible actions made her an interesting character and THAT’S why she got so much love and appreciation.
what the live action bo-katan is doing is ERASING her horrible past with a half-assed redemption that she did not WILLINGLY contribute to or earn, and then making her out to be a “princess” that deserves the saber bc she “walked between worlds”. it’s just dulling down her character, and the writers are depending too much on the audience that has not seen tcw or rebels and that they will just accept this despite the fact that bo-katan had the darksaber in her possession MULTIPLE times and has lost it MULTIPLE times as well. what is the point of giving the saber to another character if they’re just gonna pass it back to bo-katan in the end. every time. ?
