so first of all , a couple of tips for ao3

when you're on the tag page for your ship, scroll down the filter side bar until you get to 'search within results', then in that type otp: true. that will filter fics with only that pairing tagged, so you won't see any fics with other pairings

also in the side bar, under 'exclude' you can select the E and/or M ratings, which will then filter out any pwp fics

First rec this week has to go to this Bo-Katan x The Armorer artwork by @captora. I am admittedly someone that didn't really think about shipping Bo-Katan with anyone prior to this season. Like she's just roaming around causing problems and then being sad in her big house, and we love that for her. But THIS SHIP? I am unhinged about it. It has consumed me. I think of nothing else. Especially after this week.

Mandalorian Season 3 is coming out in like, a day, so that's cool.

I think the Armorer and Bo-Katan are exs.

I've seen some leaked images and heard stuff about the Armorer and Bo-Katan possibly knowing each other in the past and my brain did the thing and decided they fucked and used to be in a relationship.

Shit obviously happened, probably ideological differences, but now they are meeting again I will just view every scene they interact in as them simultaneously hating each other, thinking bad of each other and still wanting to fuck each other.

A Simple Trick for Fic Writers

Hey, if you're a fic writer and a character speaks in a different language, you don't just have to add the translation in the notes. Use the following HTML coding to add 'text on hover' to the word(s). If the reader is on a computer they can hover over the text to see the translation.

<span title="This is the text in the box!">This is the text that shows in your fic!<;/span>

Here are some examples from a fic on my AO3.

This coding here <span title="a fool, idiot (lit. emptyhead)">Eyn utreekov&lt;/span> will show this on hover.

This next example shows that you can add a lot of text. The formatting is the same as above.

PS: When doing this, there may be spacing issues, but you can edit the text through AO3's html or rich text editor. From there you can add italics (like I did), bold, etc, and fix any weird spacing issues. Just be careful not to delete the coding that you worked so hard on 😂
