This fella's been stalking around the back of my mind these last few days, so I thought I'd draw him now (it's an especially fitting moment considering the fact that I'm experiencing some insomnia)

Plains Zebra

White gouache and pencil on brown paper. This was done as a bit of an experiment and I also wanted to see how well my experience from drawing horses carried over to zebras.

We’ve finally reached the brown paper era. I got a new pen earlier this year and I was FEELING myself. The hair, eyes, and white in the negative space were real shining points for me. Strong start 🙂
