fun fact for anyone who uses custom themes / URL:
I just found out that if you try to share your tumblr URL (where your theme is) with the share button on mobile, it will copy a link to TUMBLR to your clipboard instead of your actual URL:
basically, if you’re at your custom URL and use this:
(The button that’s supposed to share your current web address)
It will send you to this:
[ https:// www. Tumblr. com / (your-blog) ]
Instead of this:
[ (your-custom-url). Tumblr. Com ]
Because tumblr wants more traffic but has to be sneaky about it I guess, I tried this with both the in-app browser and chrome AND safari and it still happened lol

Call me Juliette Nichols the way I'm about to throw hands with IT
#vent#having an issue. called tech support as you do. first two people were nice and competent#third lady was a Piece Of Work#i struggle with left and right so this became an issue at first with her telling me what to do#and instead of believing me when i said that i just struggle with left and right#she took that to mean i was stupid and combative#so she asked me to open smth in chrome even though the issue is a program on edge#i navigate to edge as you do#she insists i'm Lying about being on the correct page on my end and gets angry when i say#well maybe it's bc i opened this program in a different browser?#finally she lets me open the program in edge instead. it works perfectly. she doesn't apologize for treating me like an idiot#so i told her “look i might struggle with left and right and i may not be the most technologically capable person in existence#but my dad and brother are both very good at technology and i know my shit well enough to know that i did everything right just then#and that i've tested all of this before bothering y'all. i'm not fucking stupid“ and she just. did not acknowledge it lmfao#but whatever! i guess!

Me trying to get fighter's block to work: "Damn why is it so hard to load an insecure webpage these days"
#like-it's a good thing that web pages default to the https but also#idk why fighters block doesn't work on the secure version. thats not in my pervue of knowledge#but. i know that if i can force the browser to load the http version#which is gets grumpy about doing#then i can have my beloved#for the most part. it seems (ive tested this with safari and chrome) if you remove the s in https -- sometimes you gotta remove the#pound sign at the end. or make sure after the .com it has /.#idk i usually just do a diff combo of all those things until it works XDD#the things i do for my beloved
