Ian rolled his eyes. “And I suppose you don’t know how to fix it.” Without waiting for the Doctor to answer he went over to the doors, grabbing at one as it opened. He found it to be big and heavy and had to use both hands. But even so, as it tried to close again, it dragged him along, threatening to close on his fingers if he didn’t remove them.

Determined not to let go, he stuck his foot in the small gap between the doors. It at least stopped them from thudding shut, even if it wasn’t doing his foot much good. He looked over his shoulder and between gritted teeth said, “Find something to prop them open with.”

I’ve had a hell of a week and it’s NOT even Tuesday!” Should he have been yelling? When she heard the familiar noise Amy looked up from the book she was reading with a wide grin. She quickly shoved the bookmark into the spine and closed it, hopping up. “Move your arse, Rory!” she called up the stairs before opening the back door. She padded closer to the blue box and when she couldn’t exactly open the door, her brows furrowed in confusion. Wait.. something was different... off even, but she couldn’t put her finger on it. “Oh come on it’s been months this time, and you’re going to lock me out?”

Meeting the Doctor

The small brunette woman looked to the Doctor in surprise. She wasn’t sure what sort of reaction she expected from him, but nevertheless, his politeness caught her by surprise. Even though she was absolutely stunned and even confused by what she was seeing, she still felt terribly rude.

She covered her mouth with his comment about her bluntness. It wasn't normally like her to blurt out something like that. Her mind simply could not wrap around the sight she had before her. Here she was, walking through a park when she came across a blue police box from the 1960′s in the middle of the path. Why wouldn’t someone investigate?

“I’m so sorry. I did not mean to be so rude...”

Her face made it apparent that she was being honest. Her eyes wandered around the room for a second. How in the world was this possible? She swore the police box was much smaller than this room was. And then the technology... it was as if she was in a sci-fi movie. She looked back to him with his question. What was she doing there? That was a good question, wasn’t it?

“I-I umm...” She took a second to think her thoughts through. “Well, I saw this old police box and was inclined to inspect it. I didn’t think we had one of these in our park before. It’s in wonderful condition.”

Another adventure, another explosion. But this time, Dissa was separated from her Doctor in the ensuing blast, the Time Vortex sucking her in even as the Doctor clung to her hands, trying to keep her where she was. The sight of her face looking so horrified and desperate as the android fell in was not what Dissa wanted to see, and she made a vow that she would find her Doctor again.

She just didn’t expect it to happen so soon.

Her mechanical body went into an emergency shut down, in an effort to protect her and keep her where she was, instead of floating off into space by herself -- again -- so when she next became aware of the world, it took her a little too long for her to realize where she was. Still earth, but different, and yet...so familiar.

And then she looked up, and Dissa’s eyes widened as she looked into a face she hadn’t seen in a very long time. “You!” she cried. “My thief!”

I’ve definitely always wanted to write drabbles about what it was like during the wilderness years for Wonka. Y’know, in between him firing the entire factory staff and employing the Oompa Loompas. What was going through his head? The man clearly needed some time to think about things before going back to doing what he loves. I think that was a journey of self re-discovery and perhaps when I feel the Wonka muse strongly that will be one thing I absolutely do.

“You?” the Doctor asked as the other Doctor (his fifth face if he remembered correctly) walked on board, TARDIS key in his hand.  The Doctor laughed slightly.  “I think you walked into the wrong TARDIS, or well, right TARDIS, wrong place in the time stream.  Where are you?  Perhaps I might be able to help you remember where you parked yours.”

Liz was only out walking her dog on her lunch break. Having stayed couped up in her minimal office all mornign, it was in a hurry to get moving already. She wasn't really allowed to have animals at her office, but her dogsitter dropped out and see the dogs happy demenor, neither Patsy nor Lou had the heart to be angry about it.

Suddenly, she feel a powerful tug on the leash, and it slips out f her grip as the large golden retriver bolts for a man in a cream-coloured suit.
