I love when we get 16 yr old buffy. Like she's still an overdramatic 16 yr old girl, just a teenager. Even with all the slaying and being the chosen and saving the world.

I am speechless. This episode was intense and fast paced. It just kept going and I fucking loved it. We had so much going on in this episode like wtf. The drusilla cure, her being a witchy tarot reader, the encoder/translater, the assassin who will not leave till they kill Buffy and then another slayer. Damn.

Loved loved this episode, can't wait to watch the next one. I am gonna watch it now lol. Don't have the patience.

I guess that's it for this one, probably talk more in the next one as we wrap up this episode. But seriously loved the episode and I am loving this season.

BTVS ships episode count review

I was thinking about Buffy's 3 main ships (to me): Bangel v. Spuffy v. Fuffy. I was wondering how many episodes (BTVS or ATS) where each ship has scenes together. Then inspired by these two polls I decided to add in two other non-Buffy ships: Gethan and Spangel.

Kudos to the Fuffy and Gethan shippers, who are working with not a TON of episodes with scenes together. Especially Gethan shippers, who only have 4 canon episodes! To be fair, Spangel fans only had 13 until S5 of ATS.

Summary ship episode count: Spuffy (Spike x Buffy): 71 Bangel (Buffy x Angel): 49 Spangel (Spike x Angel): 35 Fuffy (Faith x Buffy): 21 Gethan (Giles x Ethan): 4

Any blatant negative ship comments, like calling a specific ship indecent will get you blocked. Ship and let ship. Other comments welcome.

What's the Universe? The TV Buffyverse. (BTVS TV or ATS TV eps, the comics and books don’t count.)

How to start? I started with the pre-count. The pre-count is episodes where both characters in the ship appeared.

Spuffy pre-count: 96 (inc. 0 on ATS) Bangel pre-count: 56 (inc. 2 on ATS) Spangel pre-count: 42 (inc. 22 on ATS) Fuffy pre-count: 21 (inc. 1 on ATS) Gethan pre-count: 4 (inc. 0 on ATS)

How to verify? I did not rewatch all the episodes! I rewatched a few, after checking transcripts, recaps, and ship gif pages.

What doesn't count? Someone talking about the other person, because I am not trying to include the various episodes where Faith is haunting the show. They must appear in a scene together for it to count. They must both be fully aware of each other. Shared dreams (like the Fuffy ones) do count, but regular dreams do not. Buffy Bot, Wishverse Buffy, and FirstEvil Buffy do not count. I treated Faith and Buffy as their "mental" selves during the two body swap episode scenes. Also I treated Angel the same as Angelus and soul-less Spike the same as soul-ed Spike.

She has 5 Buffy-less episodes on ATS. I did count the dream sequence in 3x22 Graduation Day Part 2 because I read it as a shared dream. They are both aware of the other.

Gethan (Giles x Ethan) 4 total S1: 0 / S2: 2 / S3: 1 / S4: 1 / S5: 0 / S6: 0 / ATS: 0 Similar to Faith, whenever Ethan appears in an episode, he will have a scene with Giles.

This doesn't have visualization yet but I wanted to share the results.

Who is your favorite character in 2? Ooh, tough choice because BtVS such an ensemble show. I'll go with Spike.

Who is your least favorite character in 1? Lucifer. Waaay overstayed his welcome bleah.

What is your favorite episode of 4? Watchmen's ep.3, "She Was Killed by Space Junk." A perfectly written capsule ep and so beautiful acted and directed.

What is your favorite season of 5? Peaky's season 3. For me, the characters really gelled in season 2, and the plot of season 3, with the gang's aspirations for respectability, and a really suspenseful, kinda crazy political intrigue plot engine, made for an engrossing season.

Who is your favorite couple in 3? I'm thankful The Expanse isn't romance-focused. So I'll interpret "couple" as platonic and go with Camina Drummer and Klaes Ashford. They have fabulous scenes together.

Who is your favorite couple in 2? Bangel!

What is your favorite episode of 1? Impossible!!! I have so many SPN favorites!!! It changes depending on my mood. I'll pick two: 11x04 "Baby" and 5x16 "Dark Side of the Moon."

What is your favorite episode of 5? Probably the s2 finale of Peaky is my favorite. I LOVED Polly getting her vengeance, and I think it was the first time we really get to see Thomas Shelby truly vulnerable, which was a real turning point for me liking the show. The dramatic climax was so intense and beautifully shot.

What is your favorite season of 2? Tough choice, but I'll go with BtVS s3. “Dopplegangland,” “The Zeppo,” “Lovers Walk,” “Band Candy,” and Faith Lehane? SO GREAT.

How long have you watched 1? Binge-watched SPN on Netflix in 2011, so 9 years now. (Correction: I *think* the first ep I watched was Slice Girls in 2011, then once it was on Netflix I binge-watched from the beginning.)

How did you become interested in 3? I read some rave reviews of The Expanse, I think, and the visuals and diversity of the casting intrigued me.

Who is your favorite actor in 4? Regina King has totally anchored Watchmen. She's amazing.

Which do you prefer: 1, 2 or 5? SPN is my obsession, even though I haven't liked the past 3 seasons. Mainly I watch to see Jensen now.

Which shows have you seen more episodes of: 1 or 3? Hm, 15 seasons vs. 3 seasons? Yeah SPN of course beats everyone now.

If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be? Lady Trieu

Would a crossover between 3 and 4 work? Eh, it would be a stretch.

Pair two characters in 1. Who would make an unlikely, but strangely okay couple? LOL, I'm surrounded by SPN ships all day every day and every possible pairing seems covered, esp with Dean. Not a big shipper tbh.

Overall, which show has the better storyline? I'd say The Expanse. It has the benefit of a series of novels behind it, and that shows in the many interweaving story threads and a well-realized and consistent fantasy world.

Which has the better theme music: 2 or 4? Unfair contest hehe. Watchmen.

My family is working our way through the Harry Potter movie series for the first time for the kids, and we watched Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince (#6) this past weekend.

tv show i’m watching:

I saw a commercial on youtube for the tv show FOR LIFE (on ABC) about a man sent to prison for something he didn’t do, and his journey into becoming a lawyer so he could argue his own case. I ended up binging the whole first season of 13 eps and s2 will start next week-ish on ABC. Legit it’s REALLY GOOD! The characterization & continuity is very good and I am super caught up in the story. Highly recommend!

OHH THIS IS A STORY well i was 2.5yo when it started and a lady my dad worked with used to love it and talk about it so apparently being an annoying toddler learning to talk i kept bugging my dad about it (even tho i probably had no clue what it was about) but my ever sensible mam was like u literally cannot watch this show with a toddler it will TERRIFY her but then when i was about 3-4 he finally let me watch it and i was obsessssssed and anyone who has met me irl i feel like if you watched it you’d just be like “oh,, ,this is why she’s that way” bc i was raised on it i’m dramatic and blunt i can’t help it but that’s also why i had not much memory of the first couple of seasons so i needed a rewatch badly
