The finale!

Pawn Swan! This was another character who first appeared in Steve Wolfhard's post-finale loredump about the 1000+ world. I never expected to actually see him in the show.

Nuts how this is like the third time we've seen Simon's ass. I love how Shermy is just chilling and playing video games while GOLB lets this random old man take a turn at the wheel.

This establishing shot of Fionnaworld shows that it's very small. By the time it is restored at the end of the episode, this ominous white border is gone and there are more buildings, implying that it became a complete world.

I can't believe Gary was thirsting after Scarab in this situation.

There is a shop called Evergree Flowers; likely a reference to the episode Evergreen.

This shop window advertises that you can learn to kick bugs. Appropriately enough, Cake kicks Scarab through this shop window while in her Godzilla form.

The Betty statue has become GOLBetty.

It should be clear by this point that Casper and Nova are a parallel to Simon and Betty, with all of their decisions being made by Casper with little consideration for Nova due to their unbalanced power dynamic. This is why Simon realises that he should have been more considerate of Betty's dreams, rather than single-mindedly chasing the Enchiridion and the crown.

The credits confirm that genderswapped Ash is named Ashley. I wonder what happened to her after she fell into the void. Probably nothing good.

Poor Marshall never gets to finish his songs. Truly he is the genderswapped Marceline.

The name "GOLBetty" is now canon; Simon uses it in this scene.

I'm not sure what's happening to GOLBetty here. A loose thread to pick up if this story ever gets a continuation, perhaps.

Simon steps through several different universes, including all the ones we saw during this miniseries. I'm not sure what this world full of tiny bears is meant to be.

Some kind of industrial capitalist hell universe.

This is the Water Park Prank artstyle, implying that Water Park Prank takes place in a separate but canon universe. So Water Park Prank is now canonically canonical! (what a ridiculous phrase)

Some kind of Jake universe.

A universe featuring Magwood and his volcano lair, from the episode Evergreen.

The snail! It's not dead after all. And it's a great way of symbolising a return to regular Ooo, as is the reappearance of the smiley butterfly.

This was a strange selection of characters. I hope Jay hasn't left his younger siblings on their own if their dad is dead. At least baby Finn won't have to grow up in Vampworld, though part of me liked imagining what that would have been like.

Fionna mentions that his is her top fantasy. The other two of her top three fantasies were Cake being able to talk and a kingdom made of candy.

She gets a hammer, like she had in the dream sequence at the very beginning of the miniseries.

Kheirosiphon goes back to working in a teashop, just like he did on The Drift before he was imprisoned by Scarab. Also Marshall's outfit here is incredibly gay, it's great.

There is an ad here for a daddy issues themed comedy night. Sounds like Marceline's kind of place.

Prismo's face glitches for a second. Ominous.

Simon definitely needs to move out. This is probably an even more important realisation than coming to understand his influence over Betty.

In the credits of this episode, Simon is finally at peace.

And with that, the miniseries is over! Back to the long wait. Will this be it for Adventure Time? Or is there yet more to come...

just imagine reader was baking something with peeta and she comes to finnick showing the cute cookies and cupcakes and he thinks they are so good, his compliments are through the roof. but then she says "oh but peeta's is so much better i don't think anyone could do what he does" and everyone knows how in love peeta is with katniss but finnick's brain just doesn't register that. so he gets all defensive being all "i could do better" and reader notices him being a little jealous so she teases him further... but eventually she sees how serious he is😭😭 so it ends with "baby you know that peeta is madly in love with the one and only - girl on fire right? and nothing in this world could ever make me stop loving you" and finnick gets embarrassed and shy acting like he was just joking... but we know he wasn't

this is even funnier considering I think finnick can cook, but not bake, but he's also stubborn and loves to try. but you're highly aware every attempt at baking with finnick ends in a huge mess in the kitchen, eating the dough even though you know you shouldn't, burnt goods, probably a food fight with flour and batter on your faces and clothes. it just makes it even funnier when he tries to insist he could probably do better.

and finnick tries to act nonchalant about it even though he isn't and it's just hilarious. his little shrug with an, "i could" and when you laugh he just does a little pout, "I could, tomorrow we'll make something and I'll show you."

"Finn, it's like Peeta's thing. no offense, but he's like a miracle worker when he's baking. and it tastes like pure heaven."

and you praising peeta so much irks finnick because he'd never ever say it, but he feels like he should be better at it then since you seem to like it so much. but he's all cool and suave so he scoffs, "he's fine I guess. I could still do better."

and it's hitting you that he's jealous and you're leaning over the counter enough to kiss his nose and slyly smile, "I don't think you could, I mean the way he kneads the dough with his hands-"

"what's so good about his hands?" he's interrupting you.

"I'm just saying he's skilled."

"with his hands?" and he's crossing his arms, brows furrowing, huffing under his breath, "but you said I was talented with mine."

"but not as good as Peeta. what else did he show you?" and you would be offended by the insinuation if it wasn't for how pouty he was, he looked like a sad puppy as you crossed over to him, laughing slightly.

"who?" he's still pouting and you pause from the kisses you'd started peppering on his hands.

and he's trying to hide the fact he blushing, "well, yeah, I knew that. of course I knew that." and he pauses for a second before his eyes basically bug out as he rushes out, "and I love you too! in all the same ways! well I guess not really all the same- you know what I mean, but I mean, I just-"

Caught up || The Judgement Day x Reader

Summary: You end up finding your favourite childhood show and end up binge watching it, forgetting to take care of yourself.

As you settled into the cozy cocoon of your bedroom with your laptop, you had no idea what you were getting into. The nostalgia bug had bitten you, and you found yourself binge-watching episodes of a TV show you used to love as a kid. The hours melted away, and you became completely engrossed in the fictional world on your screen.

Unbeknownst to you, your partners, Rhea, Dominik, Damian, and Finn, had been out for most of the day. When they finally returned home, they expected to find you in a different state than the one they left you in that morning. However, as they entered your bedroom, they discovered you in the exact same spot, eyes glued to the screen.

Rhea sighed, disappointment etching her features. "Really, [Your Name]? You've been here all day?"

Finn, with a more stern tone, chimed in, "You didn't even come out to eat or take care of yourself?"

Damian, ever the empathetic one, looked at you with concern, his eyes reflecting his worry. Dominik, on the other hand, silently left the room to fetch you a snack.

Feeling their combined weight of concern and mild frustration, you couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt. Their reactions made it seem like you had done something terribly wrong.

Tears welled up in your eyes as you stammered out an apology, "I'm so sorry, guys. I didn't mean to...I just got caught up in the show, and I didn't even realize how much time had passed."

Rhea's expression softened, and Finn's sternness gave way to a sigh of exasperation. Damian stepped closer to you, his hand gently resting on your shoulder.

"Hey, it's okay," he reassured you. "We were just worried about you. You can't forget to take care of yourself like this."

Before you could reply, Dominik returned with a plate of snacks in hand. He offered it to you with a small, understanding smile. "Here, [Your Name], have something to eat. We're not mad, just concerned."

Their compassion washed over you like a soothing balm, easing the guilt that had been gnawing at your conscience. You gratefully accepted the snack from Dominik and took a few bites, finally realizing just how hungry you were.

After a few moments of comforting silence, you decided to make amends. "You know what? Since I've got you all here, why don't we watch an episode of this show together? It used to be my absolute favorite."

The corners of your partners' lips turned up into smiles as they settled in around you. The guilt was replaced by warmth and affection, and together, you all enjoyed a nostalgic trip down memory lane, just like one big, happy family.

Spoilers for Fionna and Cake Finale Double Episode Post

-Alright, episode 9 started of with a scare! That nightmare really seemed real for a second, and Marshall looked like Shoko when she fell into the radioactive river....

Thank god it was a dream honestly, but the main even of this episode... The Lich begging for Golb to acknowledge his achievements, his success in ending all life on his reality, only to be denied of any form of gratification and to be stripped of his own reason and turned into a tetris block...

I really liked this bit, I think Fionna and Cake had the best moments of Lich alongside his speech in the Citadel episode. His expression, his posture, his rage alongside his struggle... How can a character so inherently impossible to kill, be absolutely finished by no more than a look from the one whom he called his scholar.

Also Simon kicked him that's funny,, poor Jerry

And Now, from the 1000+ years Ooo, we get to see Shermy and Beth again! They are vandalizing Gibbon's kingdom, that, in case you don't remember or don't know, he's the son of Charlie (Jake's daughter that played Card Wars)

I really like 1000+ years Ooo. In a way its cozy but at the same time uncanny cuz you really don't know anyone... (I mean Marcy and PB are canonically alive but still they only appear in the Come Along with Me Intro) I wish it was a miniseries itself!!! Simon got TP'd to Shermy's head and still is trying to find a crown. They went to the library which is now ruled by the paper guys, and a robot in a turtle shell? uh,,, okay?

And yeah basically the Scarab is back cuz Ellis P freed them,,, bruh.

-LAST EPISODE FFS PAWN SWAN IS CANON WOOO

Okay but in all seriousness, the episode continued F&C dealing with the Scarab, and they just threw him all the guys that he imprisoned, which shows us what we already had a feeling since he caught Kheirosiphon: the Scarab just caught outlaw, independently if they are good or bad, most of these guys are reformed and have started a new life... he's just so shitty... like, look at these little Big guy :')

Anyways, to get done with the F&C story, basically Prismo tp's the Peppermint tank, alongside with Jay, little Destiny and BABY FINN!! WHICH IS HUGE?! Finn is going to grow up in Fionna's universe, and if the series continues, we might even see a normal world grew up Finn (with grew up I mean like 15, lol) ALSO WE SEE TIFFANY

Simon's side on the other hand,,, jeez I feel like I was synced with Simon in a way that I never really acknowledged Betty's sacrifice... She really did put everything on the side to be with Simon, and for his happiness.... not that it went by unnoticed, but it bugs me to think... what if they did it differently? What if he went on the trip with Betty... I mean to be fair we have the answer... he dies to vampires a couple years after, but how was the time he spent with Betty? What did they change? How did they change and grew even if it did not last forever....

and if you think that this was the part that hit the hardest... buddy..

Yeah,,, I think Betty isn't even there anymore, this was a goodbye... It wasn't explained but I think it was implied that she is gone... That Golb is back to his normal form... i don't know if this will have repercussions in the future? Maybe reform Lich and fuse with him?! I'm just throwing random ideas at this point.

-Final Opinion: This series was amazing, I'm always happy to have more Adventure Time content, it being my main artistic inspiration makes it so much more fantastic to see new characters, places and stories. It was definitely the best mini series so far. The funniest, the most interesting, and the prettiest visually. The epilogue was so heartwarming, Fionna being able to talk with Simon via sms, he's having therapy with Minerva, and PRISMO! Prismo now has the Scarab with him in the Time Room, they are going to make stories together hehe.

(also there was a frame in which prismo's head was flipped? idk if it was an error wtf)

on a dime thinking about characterstics different pcs tend to share across the players.

charlie: everyone says it and it is so real, religious trauma and imagery cause i mean literally just look at peter and exandroth, gillion's whole deal being the chosen one, william's incredible distress discovering the absence of god. horror but especially body horror cause AGAIN peter and exandroth, gillion's often scary n fishy descriptions, the way charlie describes how ghoulish william looks with william literally decomposing. comically exaggerated personalities with gillion the most hero of heroes he's so hero just look at his titles, peter to be mistaken for a literal doormat, exandroth the fanatical violent all around super evil angelic force, william wisp the freak from deadwood who has ghost powers and was so dedicated to solving mysteries he died that's his thing. might i say they are all quite obsessive, gillion obsesssed with being the chosen, peter obsessed with rocks and lizard, exandroth obsessed with retribution, william obsessed with mysteries, and this can create a strong disconnect with the world around them. of the pcs i would say they are usually the most outcast of outcasts and the most freak of freaks. also autism.

bizly: very straightforward characters with no subversion, what you see is what you get. NORMAL, AVERAGE, UNDERWHELMING, these are terms you can use to describe chip rand AND connor <- also they all have the same brown hair. this makes their badass moments stand out and be triumphant, where would we be without chip's badass sword, rand's badass finale, connor's horrifying but also sort of badass moment with the book, and also thanatos is a compilation of every badass moment bizly could probably ever want. there's always some sort of family issues see chip no family, rand strained relationship with family, connor i think had something going on but i cant remember, thanatos and the holy family. definitely most likely to get into conflict with other pcs might i say, gillion and chip, rolan and rand, rumi and thanatos, that's literally one of every other players' character what can i say.

grizzly: these characters are all struggling to live up to incredibly idealised persona and for the most part end up failing, rumi's persona literally breaking down until they shed it completely to be true to themselves, dakota always trying to be a hero which has worked out so far but we're just waiting for something bad to happen, kian who pretended to make it as a rockstar after most definitely failing, aster is by proxy sort of failing to live up to the perfect persona that is her father. shapeshifters? i mean rumi is a changeling, aster can alter her form, dakota has a feral mode, and kian got bugged so you know (joke). lot of these characters are incredibly gender lets be honest here.

condi: feel an intense pull towards conforming, jay struggling to push against her family, vyncent from another world trying to adjust and appear normal, rolan getting a respected profession, everything with ryan. there is a struggle of identity that is incredibly external, jay as a pirate vs the literal navy, vyncent's repeated experience of sharing a body, rolan being a fucking bug, ryan had a confrontation that was the most direct thing you could bear witness to. the actual perfect balance of two very smart characters and two of the most incredibly stupid characters i have ever seen. honestly very on point about their observations of others and themselves but can find difficulty to express that to other.

and i totally forgot about the prequel pcs but ms g and finn are also autistic, harlem shade definitely has that classic super cool persona also gender, jason king god bless this normal dude dragged into whatever the fuck the other two have going on, arlin is the source of the family issues. i literally am too tired to write anymore so i apologise if i fucked stuff up i cant be bothered anymore send post.

I know I should work on new chapters for my like three running TBP fanfictions, bug imagine this:

- it's written in Robin's pov

- it takes place after Robin's passing and the death of the Grabber, and he is watching the siblings reuinte.

- he and the other Ghostboys don't dissapear, and they decide to watch over either their families (Bruce), their pets (Billy/Paperboy), something they really enjoyed in their life (we all know it's Vance with Pinball), go see the world they never got to see because their lives were shorten (Griffin) or someone special. Robin decides to watch over Finney.

- for a moment he thinks the Grabber's mask is there, but it isn't as he begins to look back.

- times is weird when you are dead, so Robin doesn't realize when months or even years go by. He begins to see Finney often depressed in his bed or at the graveyard, sitting Infront of his grave.

- but slowly he notices (and because he is dead, he doesn't realize literally half a year or something has passed) that Finney begins to live again. He goes out, to movies, and just living. Robin knows he should be happy about it, but deep inside of him begins to tear something apart.

- he is at the graveyard as the "Grabber" appears. A chase (or literally Robin running away as the "Grabber" pleads with him to stop) begins. Robin then wants to be as brave as Finn and tries taking the Grabber down, but it isn't the Grabber. It's death.

- death can change it's appearance , and often wears the face of the last person someone saw before dying. Robin tells it more or less pissed off it should wear something else. Then it changes to Robin's dad.

-Robin realizes in his last moments, his father had to be watching over him, but doesn't want to go with death as it offers to take Robin with it. Robin says he is fine with being a ghost and not growing up anymore, as long as he can watch over Finney growing up.

- death calls him and the other boys "lost souls", "poor souls", "children that I failed" and things.

- death has let the souls of the dead kids longer on earth, because it too was angry at the Grabber, because the boys were never supposed to die. So after the Grabber died, his soul was instantly collected.

- Robin continues watching over Finney, as death begins collecting the souls of the other boys.

- Robin begins to get jealous as Finn begins to get new friends, gets in a relationship with Donna. But he still visits Robin's grave and family, but it pains him.

- Donna becomes the help Finn needs, and listens to Finney talk about his experience in the basement, how guilty he feels for surviving. And how dear Robin was to him.

- Robin grows frustrated and begins trying to go poltergeist, and even menages to throw things down.

- Donna and Finney tell Gwen this, and she has an idea of who it is. She manages to either get the black phone or a Quija board and to get in contact with Robin. (they originally fear it's the Grabber, but are pleasently surprised to have Robin responding to him)

- Finney and Robin get unhealthy attached to eachother, and it's implied Donna is pregnant (it's years in the future, but again Robin doesn't see it) to a point where Finney's mental health is so declining that he mentions not living anymore.

- death comes again, like it always comes after having collected the souls of the other boys, and says that Robin should.. give up. He has watched Finney get a family, get happy. And now his known presence is destroying that. This makes Robin realize, Finney isn't a boy anymore. He has grown into a man, has a wife and already one kid.

- Robin tells Finney, he is going with death now, but is lying. Finney at first is shattered, but because of Donna, Gwen and his family get through it all. Robin again refuses to go with death, and just watches over Finney and now his family.

- years pass, and Robin had taken care of Finney's kids and even grandkids.

- he is, in Finney's words, "the angle protecting this Family". He even has named his daughter after him,

- in a hospital, Finney is asked by a grandchild to tell the story of Robin. Finney tells it, and Robin leaves the room, because again death is coming. Death has changed its tactic of looking like the last person someone saw while dying, and instead looks like the one someone wants to see most before dying.

- Robin and death are more friends than before, but he tells death to go away because Robin still wants to look after Finney, but death tells him to turn around.

- death isn't looking like anyone Robin wanted to see, but it looks like.. Robin himself. Without blood but wearing the same things he went missing in.

- Finney is dying.

- Robin begins begging with death to let him live longer, because death has had mercy with him before, but death denies it. Finney was never supposed to die in the basement, and so were the other boys, but sometimes beings can just.. destroy plans and change things (the Grabber did this).

- Robin says he wants to take Finney with him, and death agrees.

- a absolutely tear wrecking reunion, and Finney begins looking like his younger self again, because that his when he didn't want to live anymore for a long long time. Time is fluid in death.

- Donna and Gwen whisper their goodbyes to Finney, as Robin's soul begins to get collected, Finney says his final goodbyes to his family, thanking Gwen for finding the boys, and Donna for saving him. But Finn can let go, he has trust in his family, so his soul too gets taken.

Summary: You go on a camping trip with your partners, you're very excited until you realise that a lot of the things make you a little uncomfortable.

The anticipation buzzes in the air as you load up the car for your much-anticipated camping trip. Rhea, Dominik, Finn, Damian, and you are all packed and ready for an adventure in the great outdoors. The thought of spending quality time with your partners fills you with excitement, and you can't help but grin from ear to ear as you hit the road.

As you arrive at the campsite, the beauty of nature surrounds you. The clear blue sky stretches overhead, and the trees sway gently in the breeze. The five of you set up the campsite with ease, each of you playing a role in making this experience memorable.

The sun begins to dip below the horizon, casting a warm and golden glow across the landscape. With the campfire crackling nearby, you gather around to enjoy a hearty meal and each other's company. The laughter and camaraderie flow freely, and you feel so incredibly lucky to be a part of this group.

As night falls, a sense of excitement mingles with a touch of nervousness. You gather around the campfire, its flickering flames casting dancing shadows on your faces. The sky transforms into a canvas of twinkling stars, and the moon casts a soft, silvery light.

Rhea wraps an arm around your shoulders, sensing your unease. "Don't worry, love. We've got you, and we'll make sure you're safe."

Her words soothe your nerves, and you offer her a grateful smile. Dominik adds, "Yeah, and if any bugs try to get into the tent, we'll protect you."

You chuckle, feeling the weight of your anxiety lifting. Finn grins, his signature mischievous glint in his eyes. "And if anything else comes near the tent, they'll have to go through me first."

Damian nods in agreement. "We're a team, and we've got your back."

With the reassurance of your partners, you start to relax. After a while, you all retreat into the tent, the fabric cocooning you from the outside world. The sounds of the night surround you—rustling leaves, distant chirping, the occasional hoot of an owl. The darkness outside seems less intimidating when you realize you're not alone.

You settle into your sleeping bag, sandwiched between Rhea and Dominik. Their presence is comforting, and you find yourself drifting into a peaceful slumber. Throughout the night, you're aware of their steady breaths and the warmth they provide.

As morning light filters through the tent, you wake up to the sight of your partners stirring. Finn stretches and yawns, Damian rubs his eyes, and Dominik cuddles close to you and Rhea. You've made it through the night, and the sense of accomplishment fills the air.

You emerge from the tent, the early morning sun casting a soft and inviting glow. You gather around the campfire once more, sharing stories and savouring the simple pleasure of being together in this beautiful setting.
