What in POLLINATION is this??

So we both had joked in one of our recent live streams that we were going to draw Sans and Papyrus as Bees. Well, as we joked, it became a thing. These two are our little bee memes <3 OMG They are super cute! ;v; //Joke AU WHOO//

Both Brothers are bumble bees. Sans flies around all the time to move while Papyrus mostly walks normally, not wasting energy on flying. Papyrus’ armor is based off a wasp so he can look deadly as possible. Sans would rather blend in and not be seen in a crowd. He wears the most simplest clothes he can find. Papyrus’ Antenna’s are always pulled back to keep out of his face. Sans has one broken antenna because of an incident with Grillby. They both prefer snowdin over Hotland because well...smoke and bees don’t mix very well. Since they are both still half skeleton monsters, they do not have a short life span like normal bees do. Unfortunately out of them both, Papyrus hates being a bee because they can’t stop saying bee puns/expressions.

Well Virus is very disappointed in us for making Meme based choices on their designs. Codex thinks their fluffy, and that is all that matters to him. Clover has no comment because he sometimes doesn’t get memes (he also hate Bee Movie with a passion). And this is just everyday to Glitch.

What does sanses jacket look like when he's flying? I know he uses his jacket to have wings but what does it actually look like? :] HI WIFE

As this AU is still in the works, I do have a few concept designs. But I'm kind of struggling considering the fact that it is very weird to have his jacket as his wings, but I think it's a neat idea so it's ok! His jacket would split out in the middle and spread out, whilst the front of his jacket would just. Before a crop top almost.

(More about it is under cut)

In his reference, his jacket is long and like, split in half in the middle, I kind of used that as an indicator of how his wings would work!

I also have a few doodles of his concept design for when I made it.

HAI POOKS gimme some core differences for this au when considering personality & plot!!!! like how different do you characters act? is there a way the story deviates from the way undertale goes in different routes?

OHHHH THISMIS GONNA BE A LONG ONE.

So let's start off with something that's fairly big within the same of undertale itself. THE ROUTES!!

Basically, the whole reason why monsters/bug were sealed into the underground was because of how afraid humans were when it came to them. They were commonly compared to the normal bugs you see in your house sometimes! And that's what freaked them out so much (silly reasoning, ik, but look at our lives and notice how A LOT of our reasonings are stupid and silly)

Why am I talking about this? Because it's simple really, when you see a bug in your home, do you let it go free in your home by leaving it alone (pasifist), put it in a cup and take it outside (neutral), or do you kill it with a quick slap with your slipper (genocide)? Those will definitely be reoccurring themes yoy will notice as I go more into depth about this. BUT YEAH

When it comes to personalities, I've definitely made everyone a lot more expressive with their emotions when it comes to facial expressions. Papyrus is a lot more emotional, as he tries very hard to be his very best in attempt to join the royal guard (and make friends) this is something that stresses him out (sans is always there for him) I will go more into depth about how that isn't only the warrants of his stress but the resets too (he is aware of the resets, but he refuses to give up so quickly as sans did, he believes there is hope for their happy ending)

Sans is a lot more judgemental about you're actions, with everything you do, he watches you very carefully throughout the game (you'd be able to spot him sometimes)

You can interact with Chara from time to time if you did the genocide route, but it's more like a "Are you sure?: Yes | No" typa thing, you can catch them seeping their personality out in dialog sometimes! (I will draw a comic ab that some day)

I've mentioned this multiple times but when a monster dusts, a flower is ALWAYS left behind for them (this is for my own happiness, the idea of them being nothing but particles on the floor make me sad so I think they all deserve a flower for a bitter goodbye)

Tbh there's a lot more interacting in this au as your whole goal is to grow a lot of connections (true pasifist)

What is Bugtale’s message?

Bugtale is a story about growth and understanding. The representation of the monsters being bugs has to do with such growth, almost like a butterfly sprouting from their cacoon! (Each character will have their own individual story of growth.)

OHHHH AND THE TIMELINES AND RELATIONSHIPS WILL BE A TAD BIT DIFFERENT TOO

I don't remember the og timeline of ut but I'm definitely sure it's A LOT more different with what I did with uhh bugtale

OHH OH OH and I'm adding a few ocs for the sake of my happiness! So make sure you watch out for them! (They aren't a huge deal but they make me very happy.)
