Tony takes a step back, lowering the cane he was using. He had broken his back during a fight in his Iron Man suit and hadn't fully recovered yet, he recently found out that he got his point across better by poking others with the rubber end of his cane. A valid point, yet I feel the need to express the balance that is the challenge and the magic of architecture, of automotive design, and of product design

Without the sciences of skeletal frame and muscly sinews, the art which is the tactile flesh of any design responding to human senses doesn’t have any inherent power or ability

It’s the seamless weaving of form, and feel, and of simultaneous technological function which is the magic of architecture requiring the spectrum of human abilities of all of the arts, all of the sciences, and everything between

Without the structure of science of construction, the magic of the art of architecture implodes, as sadly happened with some of the modernist utopian designs of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s

Exactly why a construction design team needs to be a team of differing talents: the breadth of approach necessary is far wider than any individual ego

Alek couldn't help herself she smiled at her sister.

It was still weird that she had a sister, a real sister not like the other widows the Red Room tried to tell Aleksandra were her sisters.

Anya was different, she felt more connected to Anya, she was family.

there is a lot of sadness and negativity on this blog from fellow rp pals. so I wanted to send in something to brighten as many of you up as possible! lets just ignore the bad, frustrating bits of the rp community for this one. I think it's awesome and adorable to we have gathered together to just write stories together. I think it's amazing how creative we all are, all of us including YOU reading this, especially when it comes to creating OCs. You have created an entire character, I mean just think about that for a second, you have given them a name, a species whether it be human or vampire or werewolf or whatever, a background, a personality, fears, likes, dislikes. I mean come on, that's amazing? pat yourself on the back. I think it is so cool the way we take characters, both canon and OC alike, and we just pour our hearts into their portrayal to make them feel REAL. I think the dedication we have to our characters is really incredible, the way we love developing them into these full-fledged "people." I think it's way awesome how we go above and beyond anything in the media; movies and tv shows and books and comics and anime, it's awesome how we can create whole entire new species that don't even exist in media, or how we can take a werewolf and turn it into a new kind of werewolf that you don't see in the media. I love that creativity. We are a creative bunch. please pat yourself on the back and treat yourself well. you are awesome!
