There are several theories about the origin of Byeok Hawongun, but the most popular story is that she is the daughter of Dongak Daeje, the divine spirit who presides over Mount Tai in Shandong Province, China. PERSONALITY: Bobby is always presenting with a carefree, cheeky smile as he’s hot stepping through moral ambiguity and side stepping societies norms and rules. Laws are guidelines for Bobby, always tip toeing that line and swimming in the grey area. A boy happy to help elderly neighbours carry their shopping will also swipe a phone from an unsuspecting business suit in a busy shopping area. Some can simply afford to lose.

With an eidetic memory Bobby is fiercely intelligent, he can read books in a matter of hours and foresee chess games like predictable plays where infinite moves become merely numbers on the side of a dice… and all of this has left him bored. Painfully so. In need of wanton destruction and disobedience because it brings with it excitement.  

Having not understood his godly birth it all remains rather a joke to Bobby, this new norm of deities and descendants and with it fresh laws to be disobeyed and disrespected. Only this time he has his father to keep him in line.  

HISTORY: Knowing nothing of his divine birth Bobby never had a reason as to why he felt so different. He hid his intelligence for a long time, seeing it more as a way to trick and deceive then derive satisfaction from praise and merit. With that and his penchant for misbehaving came expulsion from school at the age of 15 and a gap to grow between him and his mother that remains like a chasm between them. Raised by a single mother, early life held its challenges. Lack of money was commonplace, along with judgement from the community and the lack of paternal influence leaving a wayward child, bored and destructive until his mother simply gave up. She stopped worrying when he was home late or where his money was coming from. Until finally one day his things disappeared from his room, and they parted ways. Despite some bitterness he felt, Bobby simply didn’t want to darken her door with the life he now found himself living.

His first foray into gang life had been innocent enough. Deliver a package to someone at the docks and recieve a little money for it. Yet slowly but surely the packages became secrets and the money became guns. There was trouble, there was always trouble, police raids, rival gangs and yet Bobby always seemed to be ahead of the curve, continuously playing that game of chess in his tactical mind.

He couldn’t stay unnoticed for long however, as his strategies became more notorious and he captured the imagination of the local leader and brought closer into the fold, yet also nearer to the trouble. His life had suddenly become more dangerous, but with it, more exciting.  What he wasn’t expecting this new found danger to bring was the one piece of his puzzle that he had always been missing, his father. Concerned with his son’s reckless behavior the god had decided to bring him to Mount Phoenix to show him a world of excitement and intrigue without the need for drug lords and gun shipments.
