okay so now that i’ve officially finished watching leverage i just want to say that maybe i’m obsessed with this show on multiple levels and something about how it hits so many itches in that it’s about found family and it’s about fucking over bad, rich guys (no billionaire bootlicking in this show! and i fucking love it) and it’s also about how sometimes the bad guys are the only good guys you get and it’s also about how we are all stronger together it’s about how at the start of this show, we have all of these characters who are largely used to working alone and being alone and yet the show concludes that ultimately, we are better when we are together and by being together, we might be able to leave something behind that is bigger and brighter for the next people in our generation and no man is an island and no person is meant to beat goliath on their own or whatever

this image was always painful but now that we have more context on it, it's straight up just driving me insane
the fact that dongbaek and yi sang are at the front, but dongbaek is hiding her hands.... the fact that gubo is off to the side and looks anxious almost.... the fact that dongrang stands at the back (fully at the back, to me it looks like he's standing behind even the guy he's shoulder-to-shoulder to) and is the only one not looking at the camera, his heart not truly in it...

Was Teasel a good mom for her litter?
Teasel is like any mother: she has her good aspects and her bad
She very much models her own motherhood on her own mother, who was gentle, patient, and understanding--
But, Teasel also has priorities that sometimes clash with motherhood. She WANTS to be gentle, patient, and understanding, but she also knows that Goldspring will judge her on the fitness of her offspring.
It's hard to be patient and understanding with your children when they are the metric by which your own worth is measured on. How can you allow your children to be imperfect, when those imperfections speak to your own faults?
Flax and Willow have a lot of fond memories of Teasel as adults, but they have some bad ones too

Something funny I have noticed about my play through of Baldur’s Gate 3:
Every time I come out of a fight, everyone looks like shit. Astarion and Lae’zel are coated in blood, Astarion personally looks like he went a few rounds with a boxer. Shadowheart always ends up super grungy, but usually more… muddy.
But my Tav, Maknok. He usually gets, like, an artistic blood splatter. A gentle smearing. Like someone spritzed some blood at him from across a room. It’s probably because he’s a ranger, while everyone else is on the front lines familiarizing themselves with enemy intestines, but it leads to wandering around post-battle being WAY funnier than it should.
Here comes this sad little half-orc with the biggest saddest wettest eyes you’ve ever seen and behind him are three blood soaked apparitions

I’m not like an expert on childcare or anything but I am a human person who has been around for over two decades and I have made a couple of interesting observations about kids during my time on this Earth:
If you scream at a small child, they are probably going to either scream back in defiance or start crying out of fear.
If you get rough with a small child and try to physically drag them around, they are probably going to feel trapped (because they are) and instinctively try to escape.
Doing either of these things will scare the child and make them significantly less likely to do as you ask and stay by your side because they don’t want to get screamed at or hit.
Now, this all might seem like common sense to you; and it absolutely is!
SO WHY THE FUCK DO MOTHERS OF TODDLERS AT THE SUPERMARKET KEEP BEHAVING THIS WAY
