Sew (any, no she/her) amorphous dimension travelling critter that uses sewing / crafting to make it's "skin" , typically based off of pre-existing people in the dimension. saw sonic and his super form and thought he was the COOLEST thing alive, so it chooses to resemble him :] Sink/Waterhog/Nicky (we use he/it but it doesn't rlly care /ref) literally just me lol , but from a 3rd person perspective he's a personal take on Mr. DJ's "Sink Sonic" concept . he's like 12-13ish and has way too much lore for me to summarise but fun fact : worldbuilding wise, he's a mish-mosh of the games, the Shogakukan sonic manga and a little bit of sonic x sprinkled in. :3

I bite... what your star wars au about?

It’s a mainly mcyt Star Wars au that takes place about the same time as the prequels, and largely after the fall of the Republic, in Star Wars canon timeline.

The main two story focuses that I have fully planned out and written follow a lot of the dsmp characters and then hermit/last life characters respectfully - I’ll give general outlines, but I have fleshed out character ideas as well as a few short fics for about everyone, as well as quite a few chapters of a major fic - it is a rather extensive au to be honest.

I’ll explain Pix specifically first, as that’s who I posted! He’s a jedi master who chose to pursue archaeology instead of the regular path to knighthood, swapping sometime shortly before becoming a master. He usually goes on explorations with ExplorCorps in the middle and outer rim of the galaxy. His psychometry abilities are very handy in his line of work, allowing him to experience echoes in the force, live through history in a unique way. He’s the first to find that tomb and guardian statue, on a planet on the far reaches of the outer rim, and is studying it around the time the galactic civil war is beginning to brew.

The first main story follows a few major dsmp players. Tommy is a padawan under Sam, who is trying to find Tubbo again and see if Sam is alive after Order 66, and learns how to deal with loss and new beginnings. Wilbur is one of the driving forces forming the rebellion, a sort of stand in for Bail Organa in a sense. Dream is the emperor, of course, while Eret is the stand in for Anakin - the one who betrays them all. Except instead of falling fully to the dark side, she regrets her decisions and tries to make things right.

A little earlier in the timeline, Scar is a jedi alongside Grian - who is a powerful force sensitive who’s barely convinced the council to let him stay with the jedi, with mysterious connections to another cult like force group and a lot of missing memories. Cub and Doc work as scientists for the republic during this time. Ren is a smuggler with a quick draw and quicker wit, though he’s running from his own past as much as he’s running from authorities. And Xisuma is a senator who stumbles into some conspiracies around the forming separatist alliance and the emperor in turn when he really shouldn’t have. They all have their role in the previous story as well, though admittedly I haven’t fitted them in how I want to yet.

I say two main stories, but again, everyone has a role, it’s an extensive AU, one I’ve written a little over 20k for in total? Quackity and Las Nevadas have their own role, there’s quite a few folks in the senate where there’s political drama, there’s mandalorian lore and culture through a few others (because I’m predictable, and Technoblade’s character is so mandalorian coded is all I’m saying). Some other streamers along the outreaches of these communities have a role as well - Corpse, Sykunno, Aimsey, Captain Sparklez, Elaina, for some specific examples.

So yeah! Please feel free to bite again lol, ask me about plot or characters (empires, hermitcraft, dsmp, what have you) and their role and place, and I will so gladly provide you with another paragraph or five on that character alone lol

I've been trying to let myself sit without entertainment from time to time, out of some vague notion that if I don't flick from work to escapist fiction to conversation with loved ones to fiction to a different piece of fiction back to work etc etc then I may have some original thoughts, and perhaps even develop opinions on my own. Of course, I already have some thought patterns ingrained, and even when I'm thinking of whatever topic is most important to me in that moment, I think in a manner that I have often learned from the outside world. All that to say, I spent 3 hours driving today and I primarily spent that time hazily composing tumblr posts in my head about, like, fellow road users and how the sun was kind of in my eyes.
