#but his wife that doesn't exist... he's like an alien in a human body doing a dane cook routine at work
Tumblr media
Ok sorry I’m long overdue for a follow up of these tags I left on your post lol. Here goes: In my brain, the role of a cop is a very masculine one. Like obviously there are female cops but whenever they appear in media ( at the ones I’ve seen) they always are very masculine. So with Hayward whole thing about performing the role of a standard cop I think he was also performing masculinity in a very standard way. His whole arc in season 2 has also been about learning who he is outside of that performance so he I think he can also start to experiment with gender and get silly with it. I think that’d be good for him. maybe this only makes sense to me but thank you for the space to expand upon me ideas.
Tumblr media
This is paige and Hayward season three. my final message
I just saw this response omg loving where you head is at... gotta get this out on the record before s3e3
#he can be gnc like harry dubois never let himself be#the silt verses#investigating officer hayward#hayward's gender has GOT to be weird like his whole thing with his wife who doesn't exist is SO gender#god I need to go back and rewrite 'come hell or high water' to make Hayward's wife not have been real#I think Jon and Muna have heavily implied that Hayward's wife was supposed to exist at the end of s1#but Jon decided to make her fake retroactively just to fuck with us#(in a 'just to fuck with us (affectionate)' kinda way#I don't believe in rewriting fic to conform to canon but the fact that THAT'S the fanon they canonized is *so* fucking good#a tasty tasty treat for us gremlins#but his wife that doesn't exist... he's like an alien in a human body doing a dane cook routine at work#whenever he talks about his wife who doesn't exist hating him I'm reminded of that John Mulaney bit#of 'my wife's a bitch and I don't like her? That's not a comedy routine! That's a support group for men in crisis!'#like Hayward. you invented this woman#she isn't real#why did you make her a bitch who doesn't like you????#and who YOU are pathetically still in love with#Like that's the craziest thing he doesn't even portray himself as in a failing marriage#he portrays himself as being desparate to stay in a failing marriage even though he isn't in love because he's afraid of being alone???#like hello am I speaking English here that's fucking insane in the membrane#siltposting#anyway thank you for answering my ask sorry to write this tag novel when you were just trying 2 help

The lava monster issue
There was a certain weird aspect about the lava monster. The concept of him and his backstory is simple, what makes him relatable episodic character, but only on the surface level, because as soon you start to think and analyze the details and how it sticks to the premise of setting, you will realize that there's something wrong either with the character or with something around him.
Tumblr media
First of all, ironically, but exactly this lava warrior is the first human Jack ever kills. Yes, Jack just helped him to rest in peace, so the guy died mostly due to his age, so he is in Valgalla now as he wanted, but still. Jack became the reason of his death, hence he killed a human before his encounter with bounty hunters from 5 episode of 4 season.
Tumblr media
Second, how this warrior mentions, the monster (of course, Aku) imprisoned him in crystal, but the warrior's spirit was strong enough so this "prison" stone became his body basically, and he is able to fight and even control stones and lava... And instead of a battle against Aku for avenging his family and maybe even helping to other enslaved ones he creates various traps for a warriors, who would kill him, so he would go to Valgalla through honorable duel... What?! There's no mention that he can't leave these mountains! He literally created all these traps, i.e. he went on outside of the mountains! Yes, he is trapped in the stone body, but he doesn't mention that he can't leave these lands! He can do various weapons from own body just like Aku does! What a heck?! He is the earth/lava bender straight up!
Tumblr media
And, well, with omiting some details for a while, this warrior did nothing wrong and was pretty good guy, who protected his people. Why the three alien gods from "Birth of Evil" did nothing?! Why they didn't help to this guy to save his family?! Why they didn't give him a weapon against "the monster"?! Why they were okay with him being cursed and trapped for eons?! And third, his backstory raises lots of questions. Of course, since this guy exists for eons, and he learnt lava/earth bending after many centuries of lying in the cursed trap, his memories about the past could be mostly erased and become very vague, i.e. he remembers only certain vague parts, but not details and full events (and, well, we remember the example of Emperor's words about his confrontation with Aku in 1 episode of 1 season and what really happened in "Birth of Evil" between him and Aku). But still. Like, he mentions that the black moon made the solar eclipse and started to grow, so the darkness absorbed skies and woods and then "the monster born from the darkness attacked" and began to destroy the warrior's kingdom.
Tumblr media
Ah... why Aku decided to teleport(?) exactly this way? Moreover, why Aku was there alone and decided to attack exactly them and exactly to burn these lands with its human habitants?! This event clearly happened after Jack was sent to the future, 'cause before this Aku chilled only in Emperor's lands (and after he was free from the stone tree, he attacked exactly Emperor's kingdom). You really don't see the problem? Well, if Aku started to take over the world, he had to be with the large armies of robots and demons, i.e. the warrior would remember small demons and "giant iron insects/people" or whatever. Plus, the people mostly would be enslaved, not killed. Another aspect — how, according to the lava warrior, Aku mocked on him "You'll never join your family/friends!" and hence trapped him in the magical crystal forever just because the warrior attacked him (and again this parallel with arrows).
Tumblr media
Ah... I don't know, but such a brutal punishment "for eternity" would be more suitable for Jack's parents, especially Jack's father, not just some random dude from thousands Aku will see in the future (although, Aku could see some parallel — like, the guy clearly was a chief in his tribe and had a wife and two sons, but nah, here Aku just demonstrates that black cynical humor some mythical creatures/spirits had). Simply saying, the guy not only has almost erased and vague memories about these events, but also he doesn't know the whole story, 'cause he arrived exactly after the attack already happened.

(I’m absolutely swimming in the stardroid content that you’ve given us thank you so much) what if saturn gets asked for cuddles by his s/o, I’m thinking that he clings to them at any body part and tries his best, most of the time he rests his head on their chest and tightly holds them. Probably falls asleep and stays there for a good 2 hours before Terra shoves his foot into the sacred realm.
Saturn is clingy and ironically sensitive to genuine affection and any variation associated with it. Frankly, that is precisely why he craves it.
Life is grey, nothing matters. Everything starts and ends in nothingness.
But Saturn notices how your existence pops, striking him so hard in the back of his head he damn near shivers. Such overbearing and subtle emotions, he snarled at those weaknesses. Love and Destroyers don't mix, destined to cancel the other.
Snatch and kill. Attachments are distractions, below higher beings like him. Distant as the planets are from the stars. It's chaotic and confusing, Stardroids aren't exactly fans of change. You're irritating, truly disgusting. From the click of a tongue to the stretch of red on the apples of your cheek, from a witty comeback that would've cost you an arm and a leg. To the slow determination of your conquests, the journey up your planet's food chain and economics. He doesn't understand-can't comprehend it.
What is so important about you?
You're a stupid, pathetic human. Cockroach are to be crushed under foot. But you are brave, admittedly, no mere fool. What you lack doesn't hold a candle to what you actually have. You aim to impress. Saturn can't decide to hate it or love it.
Maybe both.
He swears, you borderline mother him. He's a grown ass adult, not some brat in kindergarten. Why do you feel the urge to suffocate him? Watching every movement and twitch. Micromanaging his desires and activities like you have the right to butt in. Making his business yours when your nose doesn't belong. You stare at his hands, linger on his long fingers, noting every bend and bone. You see through his face, the curves and turns of his frame. Crafted from metals alien to Earth, made for battle and devastation. You're alive compared to him, full of life.
You expect something, that caring glim in your eye, a shimmering diamond in space. You expect something, reading a theme. Tch, he owes you nothing.
You're a clusterfuck, a random occurrence. A brand of discord Saturn would've respected if he didn't know any better. Appearing outta nowhere on the side of an empty street, a damaged cat kicked to the deck never to be seen again. Weeping in its own filth and tragedies, fucked like all other stupid creatures on Earth. Just another worthless life, a pitiful meat bag, unaware of how small it really is. His alien origins blow over you as an evening wind. Treating him like he is human himself with no deeper intentions, lowering along with your species. No different than they are, something he found incredibly insulting. You smile and wave at someone that attempted to destroy the world. Perhaps you are a fool. A girl looking to wow a boy, like a wife trying to impress her husband. How disgusting.
Like some cliché human soap opera, starved for the minimal of mediocre companionship and romantic drama.
What an annoyance. You ignite him nonetheless, bewitching, casting your cute spells like its nothing. You come like a boomerang, with him to return to. In and out and in again. Ruthless potential, starting problems and spreading fires.
Are you luring him with some mysterious signal? An invisible magnet, pulling at his poles constantly, wiping the ground with his ass. Pulling till he turns, notices and acknowledges. Stripping his attention of all else, until he finally lands on you and lands hard. Wrapping around your waist, tangled in your hands with an affectionate laziness, dangling an arm wrapped around your shoulder. Like an abandoned puppy, squirming under touch, shying away from contact. Longing for an owner's love, Saturn detests leaving your side. You're his little armrest, so stay a while, the moments should last.
Hook, line and sinker. Once in, sinking into the pit, you will go in right with him. You made your bed, lay in it. He clings and holds on to dear life, strength inhuman. As is he, you must remind yourself. And even if you're not near, outside his field of vision for whatever reason, he will suck you in himself.
A strange weight, rolling against you. No-it's not a weight. A breeze? But there is no wind, no windows open. Regardless, something is pulling you, slowly at first. You're not the only one with a magnet. Becoming heavier and heavier till boom, it spirals you out of whatever you're currently doing, ripping it from your hands so fast it hurts. Dropping everything in the process, a mess you will have to clean later. The world is going backwards, dragging you, moving as fast as you. A gravitational push, pulling you intensely across the way, it's a miracle you don't crash into anything. Moving closer and closer to the source, driving on an unstoppable course to your determined destination.
But then it stops. With a shrieking halt, a sudden brake. And you trample somewhere familiar.
You brace for impact, eyes lids sewed shut, to hammer through a wall, but to your surprise you didn't. The impact you got wasn't what you expected. When your close enough, a hand shoots out. It grabs you, hits quick as lightening. Fast and fluid, so you don't crash and fall flat on the floor, which your grateful for. Light as a feather, a blade of grass compared to him. A flash of brownie brown, an under belly of sandy peach. Hard and immoveable, still. Steady in your merciless pursue, not an inch away from its implanted spot on the sofa. Arms catch you effortlessly as you shake around like a rag doll, experiencing an earthquake of your own.
No dent, so crack, no epic smash.
It clicks when your eyes at last open, blinking repeatedly. Bright in curiosity, adjusting to the surrounding scenery. Wonderful and vast as the cosmos, doe-eyed and confused. Its Saturn. Saturn and his trusty damned hula hoop, his weapon. Pruning next to him, standing large and proud, the roundness mocks you. You shouldn't be surprised, of course its him. The only one that would pull this shit.
This feels like a joke, a sucky sitcom, but he isn't laughing. This is far from a comedy. The heat of his body is intense, but not naked. It dawns on you just how close he is. Zoned on your face, lips brushing your flushed cheek. You feel like your every organ and nerve is displayed in front of him. Open wide, but small inside. The snake caught its prey.
Feigning annoyance, Saturn sulks against you. What is he? A puppy, that's what. Stubborn, he refuses to damp his grip, lessen his hold on your sides. You wince, not in pain-he'd never hurt you-but the pressure. His breath kisses your nostrils, the look of ridicule locking you in place and throwing out the key. Never to be found. Desperate for a lick of attention, a simple glance or word. Sighing in your ear, fake moping that you left him alone too long.
Now you must pay for it.
Lay in your bed, little human.
Lay.

Yeah....we do not need a season 4 of the umbrella academy..
Spoilers.
They COULD make a movie special, to wrap up all the loose ends but if they don't, whatever.
Season 3 was the worst of all the seasons.
Fuck, Season 1 was their peak!
And because they destroyed the world, went back in time, etc, they seem to hit a lot of 'wtf' moments, and NEVER EVER explain them.
For some? Cool. Mysterious. But for ones that you tease all the time (what killed original ben) you never are given an answer just cuz...they don't want to? It could have really developed this alternative ben character, but nope; fuck us, right?
And so many fucking plot holes. Since they can use the excuse 'time travel/alternative time lines' anything from the first 2 seasons I won't cover (also cuz I barely remember those seasons. They were FUN to watch, not work).
1-so we find out #5 formed the commission (old version, 1 arm). He says don't save the universe (how the fuck did he survive let alone develop a 'paradox' free room). And has a tattoo on his chest that younger version cuts off. Then later he gets the same tattoo on his chest to 'keep with the time streams' or something. WHY? Reality is falling apart, do you think following the rules will somehow fix it? Also, he gets his arm cut off (then back when he saves time). How the fuck did the old him survive the attack, the end of the world, and get to the bunker? AND form the commission inbetween?
2-so, in theory, their dad for the entire series was trying to get to this magical room that resets existence (to bring back to life what appears to be his wife, on the moon, that Luthor was protecting...tho he couldn't access it, cuz it had its' own BARRIER. Kinda redundant.) Tho they never mentioned 1/2 of the stuff they show (how did he know about it? Understand the language? And he says 'the creators of this realm' so...not his species? Why does it look like their hotel if their dad created the hotel? etc). The 'defenders' never showed till the bell was rung. But...they only needed to access the machine. Why not look for the machine and activate it? Maybe the defenders would kill them during their vulnerability? The guards were clearly not immortal, so why not bomb the fuck out of them? See, they bring up new cool concepts, then when you question even some basic shit, it doesn't hold weight. Like, the bugs. WTF is with the bugs?
3-Allison can make anyone, anytime tell her the truth, and she can tell them to forget about it. I know, sounds evil, but she goes full evil (IMO) in this season, so why the fuck not? I would at minimum use it on my KNOWN PSYCHO dad, and when it didn't work, then I would know he has powers or isn't human. I mean, he never ages, and he made a robot mom....
4-robot mom goes cult leader (with a RANDOM flamethrower)? WHYYYYYYYYYYY!?
5-....a floating cube was born of a human mother? So...a box came from a box? haha. But seriously, c-section? His own language? This entire show should be called 'here's more questions, and even less answers than last time.'
6-mutiple times the human punching bag was interacted with (tripping, throwing, etc) and the person doesn't get any damage. Very inconsistent. Also, why does his a face fall apart? Why does he need an inhaler?
7-The ending was a (kinda) nice wrap up. Everybody (kinda) got what they wanted; no more power drama. Why did dick ben stay in old ben's body? And wasn't he dead well before the reset in the main universe? Only one to lose out was Luthor (his wife). She still exists, but where? There's no way they were called by the names on their birth certificate, so he has no idea where she was born or went. THAT sucks. Felt like the ending of the new spiderman.
Still...for the movie, they could explain a-dad, alien, now alive wife, mega corporation. Was that his plan the whole time? Why? And EVERYTHING with the back door to god machine. Who, what, where, why, how? b-how the FUCK did allison get her super dead from the past lover, young again, in the present? Does the machine make life PERFECT? c-why did their powers disappear? Who caused them in the first place? d-all that bull shit with the commission. Tho at the same time, with them resetting everything, you could just say it no longer exists.
Just this whole season felt campy, and everyone acting like over the top soap opera stars. Ben was better as a ghost...killing a bunch of characters we had no time to have grown attached to. Subplots that just straight up disappeared or are never covered again. All felt soap opera-y.
I do NOT need a whole season, just a wrap up movie. You owe me some damn answers!

hot take: but i think the reason why pulp is addicting is because it delivers in action but when it ends, its just empty thematically and thats how it leaves you wanting more? if that makes sense?
like i just finished reading the comic 'my name is chaos' and conceptually it had a lot of potential but it went unfulfilled and left a lot to be desired... the art was good. afaik there was no continuation tho smh so there were a lot of loose threads.
The art was gorgeous like most sci-fi stuff during the early 1990s.
I personally don't see the point in the violent development in Steve's experiments tho? Or why they were there in the first place? Were they suppose to be a parallel to the martians? and why even bother to mention moron's intellectual upgrade at all, if the upgrade wasn't on panel?
like most stuff written in the 90's, the way women were written made my eyes roll... even tho sarah arguably and barely passes the ailia test, she's still used as a prop for man pain and jealousy and doesn't have any agency whatsoever. I was also confused on whether or not Thomas was even aware that his wife used to be together with his brother Steven?
As for Stevens arc itself, he plays the typical mad scientist role. He does display emotions, in a cold and distant way. He also does act as a leader tho and stages a coup against the primary government of mars. Personally, i would have liked to have seen his accident and his reasoning on why he didn't want his family to know why he was dead. I also wanted to see more of his estranged relationship with his brother, Thomas. The themes of humanity having things out of their control could have been leaned in more, with Steven and his origin accident story, and perhaps even provide a deeper motivation?
Ok. Now onto thomas. I will admit, it was drawn to the cover of my name is chaos because it made it clear that the protagonist was going to be a black man. But I think it's safe to say that his role was race neutral? (like he would have been switched with a white man, and the plot wouldn't be impacted is what i mean.) And we do need more sci-fi stories set in the future ft black people just existing and facing other types of conflict. there is one trope I disliked tho and see trending in different characters of colour, and that is, thomas is moved out of his own body and switches with a martian but doesn't seem to be himself, even tho his conciousness is suppose to be unaltered otherwise? idk just a trend i've been noticing.
Like i've earlier, i would have liked to see thomas's relationship with his brother, steven explored a bit more. You get to see the strain when steven controls where thomas goes and spends his time. One part that did strike me as interesting, was steven mentioning his respect for thomas's work bc it also set up a sort of rivalry aspect? Which would have been better and make way more sense then them fighting over a woman, because there's that intellectual aspect too.
I also would have liked to see thomas's connection with nature specifically, talking to whales, be more in depth. Especially on a dying, dystopian Earth. (idk maybe i just like the implication that the whales are evolved versions of the martians too.) His ascension into a high consciousness by being connected to aliens was surprisingly not v colonizer-y. up until he was like 'yea they want me to be their leader.' (eye roll.) And the burning of the martian's bodies too was kinda unnessecary imo. i can definitely see this having influence on that 'blue avatar ppl movie.' I def liked his ability to feel Mars as a living being.
While the last page hinted that steven's conciousness was still around, i think, if this series had continued, I would have liked it to be more about the aliens and them fighting for their sovereignty against a colonizing earth, and more development in thomas's connection with nature and the universe.

Jordan Maxwell The Naked Truth
youtube
FREE YOUR MIND:
JORDAN MAXWELL GOING THROUGH INFORMATION THAT WAS A PRECURSOR TO THE MOVIE ZEITGEIST, AMONG OTHER THINGS, SOUNDING THE ALARM LIKE I DO ABOUT JUDAISM AND CHRISTIANITY BEING FAKE RELIGIONS DESIGNED SOLELY TO MANIPULATE AND CONTROL.
IN THE BOOK, NOT IN HIS IMAGE BY JOHN LAMB LASH, HE GOES INTO SOME DETAIL ABOUT THE ORIGINS OF JUDAISM. THE POINT THAT NEEDS TO BE MADE IS THAT BOTH CHRISTIANITY AND JUDAISM ARE GUILTY OF TRYING TO DESTROY AND WRITE OUT OF HISTORY THE REAL TRUTH, BECAUSE IT DOESN'T SUIT THEIR NEEDS OF MANIPULATING, CONTROLLING, AND ENSLAVING EVERYBODY. THEY SAY THAT THE ANTICHRIST IS GOING TO COME AND IS GOING TO DO ALL THESE HORRIBLE THINGS, BUT YET THEY DID THINGS IN THE CRUSADES AND INQUISITION THAT WERE A MILLION TIMES MORE HORRIBLE THAN THEY CLAIM ANYTHING THE ANTICHRIST IS GOING TO DO, NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT ALL THOSE SCRIPTURES ARE WARPED INTERPRETATIONS OF WHAT THEY WERE ORIGINALLY SUPPOSED TO BE.
I think you might like this book – "Not in His Image (15th Anniversary Edition): Gnostic Vision, Sacred Ecology, and the Future of Belief" by John Lamb Lash.
Start reading it for free: https://a.co/2pJrhmz
THERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT I CAN'T TALK ABOUT PUBLICLY, BECAUSE THE REALITY OF SPIRITUALITY SEEN IN NATURE AND UNSEEN IN NATURE IS ALSO THE KEY TO TECHNOLOGY THAT THE HUMAN RACE SHOULD NEVER, EVER, GET THEIR HANDS ON.
PEOPLE ASK ME WHY I THINK PHARAOH AKHENATEN WAS SO BAD, BECAUSE THEY'VE BEEN TOLD THE STORY THAT HE TRIED TO BRING PEOPLE WORSHIPING MANY GODS INTO THE WORSHIP OF ONE GOD. LET ME CLEAR THIS UP A LITTLE BIT. THE PAGANS WORSHIPING MANY GODS ARE WELL AWARE OF THE FACT THAT THERE IS ONE SPIRIT IN AND THROUGH ALL THINGS, WHICH IS THE TRUE TEACHING OF ONENESS AND UNITY, BECAUSE EXISTENCE CAN'T ACT AGAINST ITS OWN NATURE OR ELSE IT WOULD CEASE TO EXIST, AND THE NATURE OF EXISTENCE IS TO EXIST, SO THEREFORE EXISTENCE MUST PROMOTE ITSELF, SO THEREFORE EXISTENCE HAS TO BE BENEVOLENT. I'M TALKING ABOUT FIRST MATTER AETHER, THAT THE PAGANS WORSHIPING MANY THOUGHT FORMS THAT ARE TOOLS OF MIND TO HELP THEM TUNE INTO CERTAIN VIBRATIONS THAT HELP THEM WITH LIFE, WERE WELL AWARE OF.
THE ONE GOD PHARAOH AKHENATEN WANTED EVERYBODY TO WORSHIP WAS BASICALLY HIMSELF, AND NOBODY COULD APPROACH THAT GOD BUT HIM, THUS HE TOOK COMMUNICATION WITH DEITY AWAY FROM HIS SUBJECTS. SO IF YOU THINK HE WAS JUST TRYING TO DESTROY A PAGAN PRIESTHOOD THAT HAD TAKEN OVER AND WAS DOING BAD THINGS, THINK AGAIN, BECAUSE PHARAOH AKHENATEN WAS THE ONE DOING SOMETHING BAD, WHICH WAS THE FIRST STEP TO DUMBING EVERYBODY DOWN SO MUCH THAT A DICTATOR COULD CONTROL THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH THEIR DEITY.
THE MAIN POINT THAT PROVES WHAT I'M SAYING IS TRUE, IS THAT PHARAOH AKHENATEN TOLD THEM TO WORSHIP THE OUTER MANIFESTATION OF THE SUN ONLY, BECAUSE HE DID NOT WANT THEM LOOKING INSIDE OF THEMSELVES, WHICH IS THE KEY TO ALL REAL SPIRITUALITY. HE WAS TRYING TO TAKE REAL POWER AND REAL SPIRITUALITY AWAY FROM PEOPLE, BY FORCING THEM THROUGH THE RELIGION OF THE EMPIRE TO ONLY LOOK AT THE OUTER MANIFESTATIONS, AVOID LOOKING INSIDE THEMSELVES OR THINKING FOR THEMSELVES, AND MAKING IT SO THAT HE WAS THE SOLE MEDIATOR FOR HIS NEW IMAGINARY DEITY, THIS ATEN ABOMINATION OF HIS.
ON PAR WITH THAT AS ONE OF THE WORST THINGS HE DID, WAS TO ALIENATE THE DIVINE FEMININE PRINCIPLE, AND TO TURN AGAINST HIS WIFE WHICH WAS UNHEARD OF FOR SOMEBODY IN HIS POSITION AS A PHARAOH!
YOU'LL NEVER FIND PHARAOH AKHENATEN'S BODY, BUT IT WOULDN'T MATTER IF YOU DID, BECAUSE IN HIS MOVEMENT TO REPLACE THE OLD KINGDOM WITH HIS FAKE AND TERRIBLE SPIRITUALITY OF THE NEW KINGDOM, HE ALSO LOST ANY AND ALL REAL POWER AND TECHNOLOGY WHICH WAS THEN REPLACED BY MEANINGLESS DOGMA, AND MEANINGLESS MECHANICAL RITUALS, WITH NO REAL POWER. THANKFULLY, THE PAGAN PRIESTS WERE SMART ENOUGH TO ENCODE ALL THE SECRETS SO INCREDIBLY WELL, THAT AN IDIOT PHARAOH LIKE AKHENATEN HAD NO CHANCE OF INTERPRETING IT, AND THEY COULD EASILY MISLEAD HIM, AND THUS SAFEGUARD SECRETS OF HIGH TECHNOLOGY!
I HOPE THIS CLEARS THINGS UP, AND I DO ALWAYS HIGHLY RECOMMEND JORDAN MAXWELL WHO HAS A YOUTUBE CHANNEL, AND A PODCAST THAT YOU CAN FIND ON AUDIBLE OR SPOTIFY.
UNTIL NEXT TIME MY LOVELIES, KEEP DARING TO DREAM! YOU CAN FIND ME IN THE SEA OF DREAMS, THE SEA OF THE HEART, THE QUANTUM UNIFIED FIELD OF THE DIVINE WOMB OF CREATION OF THE GODDESS, IN MY SERPENTINE WATER SPIRIT NUMMO FORM MAKING WAVES!
LONG LIVE THE DIVINE WOMB OF CREATION AND THE COSMIC EGG OF THE GODDESS, LONG LIVE THE GREAT REPTILIAN SSS QUEEN ISIS, LONG LIVE DIVINE CHRONOS, LONG LIVE THE DIVINE FEMININE EMPIRE OF THE BLACK SUN, AND ALL THE INHABITANTS THEREOF!

Daniel Ortega, Amy Kostas, Charkatus Victorae, and Gregory Elliot.
(the Orion Team stories - which center around these four plus Lung Jiao - start in July 2817 C.E.)
Full Name: Major Daniel Fransisco Ortega, Earth Federation Marine Corps. Also codenamed “Orion-6.” Gender and Sexuality: Cisgender, Heterosexual Pronouns: He/His/Him Ethnicity/Species: Black African and Hispantic Extraction, Human Birthplace and Birthdate: Hanno Station, the 3rd Oldest Orbital Habitat/City over Mars. Population - 400,000, some 478 years old. Date of Birth, June 17th, 2750 C.E. Guilty Pleasures: Coffee, Romnivirian (another alien species) Opera Phobias: No real stand out phobias. What They Would Be Famous For: Probably one of his heroic acts in the EFMC, such as his conduct during the Defense of Fortress Gamma-3-Omega from the invading Hyplontians (an alien species). During the 3-week battle, all his superior officers were killed and he ended up leading the Battalion. His work for the Office of Extrafederation Security is far too classified. What They Would Get Arrested For: Murder, Espionage, Destruction of Property, Arson… the OES gets up to a lot of stuff on the worlds of other Stellar Nations OC You Ship Them With: His wife, Natasha Richter OC Most Likely To Murder Them: Mark Farrell (different than the Mark Farrel from the Heartpoint Chronicles. This one is a mass-murdering psychopath/terrorist who works for a rogue megacorp) Favorite Movie/Book Genre: Historical Fiction, especially stuff set in the 23rd and 24th centuries. Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: Simplifying the ‘bad guys’ of history into cliché moustache-twirly villains. Talents and/or Powers: Expert at small-unit tactics, top-tier marksman. Card Shark. Why Someone Might Love Them: Fiercely dedicated to what he believes in, loyal, Very fair-minded and expansive. Radiates quiet confidence, a lot. Why Someone Might Hate Them: He can be a scary hard-ass even to his men sometimes. Strict. How They Change: He does have a bit of a crisis of conscience after he kills the terrorist leader their hunting in the first Book and realizes just how much visceral enjoyment he got out of it, that the bastard was finally dead. Its one thing to do your duty as a soldier, but to enjoy killing someone? Even someone evil? Why You Love Them: I like the idea of this guy keeping Orion Team together - he’s def the 'sane man’ of the team, to play the tropes.
Full Name: Lt. Commander Amy Xelcavia Kostas, Earth Federation Navy. Also Codenamed “Orion-9." As a practicing Novarian, her middle name is that of her spirit patron - in this case, Xelcavia, the Spider of Striving Ambition, whom she took as a patron when she was 19, as per normal for a Novarian. Gender and Sexuality: Cisgender, Lesbian Pronouns: She/Her/Hers Ethnicity/Species: Greek and Irish Extraction, Human Birthplace and Birthdate: The city of Crestwall on New Horizon, the 3rd planet of the Washington System; DOB August 7th, 2764 Guilty Pleasures: High-Intensity Sports, Old Hyperspace Engines, Virtual Reality Multiplayer games Phobias: Violating the strictures of her Faith and then not getting a chance to make recompense to the Spirits before her death. What They Would Be Famous For: In another life, where she didn’t join the EFN, Amy could have become famous across known space for her advances in Hyperspace Physics and her pioneering hand development of an affordable (for the larger market) version of the Navy’s Zeus-Class Hyperdrive. With three Doctorates. Of course, she still has time to make a name for herself in the realm of Hyperspace Theory What They Would Get Arrested For: Whatever the law, she’d be arrested for trying to break it in the most elaborate way possible while (trying) to avoid being caught. She’d go for those laws that no one has broken and gotten away with it. That, or OES work OC You Ship Them With: Her wife, Sara Townsend. OC Most Likely To Murder Them: None really come to mind from the Orion Team verse, but Amy Kostas and Alicia Lehane (Aliciaverse) could either get on great or want to kill eachother. Favorite Movie/Book Genre: Romance Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: The Meet Cute Talents and/or Powers: Masters Degree in Hyperspace Theory, could have easily gotten a Doctorate had she not joined the Navy. A lot of practical experience in Hyperspace in general. Unbroken record of success as a Tactical Officer, in both ship to ship combat and Boarding Actions.  Why Someone Might Love Them: Smart, witty, dedicated, her constant quest to better herself and meet and rise to overcome new challenges. Why Someone Might Hate Them: Her apparent detachment from the fact that she kills lots of people for her job and doesn’t really care - she’s not as detached as that, but her manner (especially her highly competitive-challenge focused approach to fighting) gives that impression. Her need to be the smartest woman in the room. Her competitive Streak. If they don’t like Novarianism, her uncompromising devotion to the tenants of her Faith (though Novarianism manages to be a generally unobjectionable Faith… most of the time). How They Change: I’m sure she does, but I don’t know how she would offhand yet  Why You Love Them: Oh my god, I love Amy Kostas. Her unique style (informed by her syncretic faith) and approach, the fact that she studied Hyperspace Theory in College because it was the hardest subject she could find. She changed disciplines in the Navy because she felt like she’d made Hyerspace Navigation her bitch and decided being a Tactical Officer was her next challenge. I love Lt. Commander Kostas.
Full Name: Charkatus Victorae xaen Velcar Delorus. His name is partially Anglicized to be more easily pronounced by human tongues and written in English. Also Codenamed "Orion-12” Gender and Sexuality: Heterosexual, Xenophiliac (he finds human women far more attractive than Romivirian Women). Romnivirians don’t approach or conceive of the concept of 'gender identity’ the way humans do. His biological sex is Male, however. Pronouns: Vos/Vorcs/Vorbs (sort of/basically He/His/Him) Ethnicity/Species: Of Viran Extraction, Romnivirian Birthplace and Birthdate: April 17th, 2746, by Human reckoning. Born in the small agricultural town of Hurolxinekur, on Velcar Prime/Velcar IV, Velcar System, Nephros Cluster, Haeron Administratum, Romnivirian Empire  Guilty Pleasures: Human women. Technically not really a guilty pleasure since he’s stopped being bothered by his attraction. Rictelzo, a kind of Romnivirian Alcohol (he, like many Romnivirians, is allergic to the chemical compounds in the stuff that intoxicates humans, and no Romnivirian who isn’t metabolizes such substances in a way that lets the get intoxicated). Old Human Movies. (like, even Pre-space ones) Phobias: Vorra Beasts (native Megafauna on Velcar Secundus/Velcar III), his Cybernetic implants being overloaded What They Would Be Famous For: I can’t really think of anything. His service in both the Romniviran Imperial Army and then the EF Romnivirian Auxilliary Corps (think French Foreign Legion) What They Would Get Arrested For: Public Intoxication, Solicitation, on worlds where Prostitution is illegal but still exists (though that’s not common in Human space anymore) OC You Ship Them With: If Amy Kostas was straight, or Bi, and you know, not married I could see them being compatible (this was not intentional when they were created). Amanda Zhao, from The Heartpoint Chronicles-Verse OC Most Likely To Murder Them: Honestly? Rebecca Fernandez from THC-Verse Favorite Movie/Book Genre: Dramedies or Comedies with Adventure story aspects Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: Humanity Saves The Primitive Aliens (especially common in Pre-First contact Sci-fi). Romnivirians were in hyperspace before humans developed Gunpowder, damnit! Talents and/or Powers: Expert Sniper, Occular implants that greatly improve his accuracy, Overload Gaunlet implant in his hand that lets him overcharge electronic devices in the field. Why Someone Might Love Them: He’s surprisingly insightful about people and good at cheering them up. Clever. Curious. He’s also very chill. Why Someone Might Hate Them: He’s got a body count in the Thousands:  humans, Romnivirians, members of the Centai races, and he just… doesn't really care. He also has no other career or skills than soldiering (which broke up his second marriage - he mustered out of the Auxilliaries to be with his wife all the time and just… couldn’t stick with Civilian life) How They Change: Not sure offhand. He hasn’t really yet. Why You Love Them: He’s a fascinating external look on the weirdness and idiosyncrasies of both humanity in general and the Earth Federation in particular.
Full Name: Gregory Julius Elliot Gender and Sexuality: Cisgender, Bisexual, has dated or had sexual relations with Sytala (an alien species that looks fairly human… except where they don’t) of both genders and had a sexual encounter with a Romnivirian male, although he found he didn’t particularly enjoy that experience. He largely prefers his own species though. Pronouns: He/His/Him Ethnicity/Species: Of Anglo/British Extraction, Human Birthplace and Birthdate: December 19th, 2767 Guilty Pleasures: Exotic Hallucinogens, though by practicality, he hasn’t had any in years. Phobias: Suffocation, Drowning, What They Would Be Famous For: Under the pseudonym, "The Hollow Man", he was responsible for a lot of Hacktivist Exposes of corruption, hypocrisy and the like in government on all levels and private enterprises, before the Office of Extrafederation Security recruited him when the Law finally started to close in on him.  What They Would Get Arrested For: Hackivism OC You Ship Them With: None in Orion Team, yet, but the characters of Daniel Chase-Harris and Jack Rosado, probably even Talia McDermott (all from the AliciaVerse), would be compatible with him. OC Most Likely To Murder Them: Once in a while, Lung Jiao has half-seriously contemplated it.  Favorite Movie/Book Genre: Sci-fi. Of course, Sci-fi in 2817 looks very different than it does today. Least Favorite Movie/Book Cliche: When the Authority Figures were right all along. Talents and/or Powers: Really good with computers/hacking Why Someone Might Love Them: He's endearingly excitable when he’s really into something. Really imaginative. Strong principles re: transparency and the spirit of the law. Idealistic. Why Someone Might Hate Them: His excitability, Idealism and occasional naiveté can rub off badly on people. How They Change: Despite being part of a front-line black ops unit, Gregory hasn’t actually killed anyone. He does in Book 1. Why You Love Them: He’s a nice counterpoint to the cynical pragmatism of the EF’s government (OES especially) and the lighter side of the occasional 'manifest destiny’ attitude the EF has towards its mission to be the government of all humankind.
