GOOOOOOD MORNING/AFTERNOON/EVENING/NIGHT EVERYONE!!!! WELCOME BACK TO THE ACCOUNT!!!! so!!! you might've seen yesterday that i went to Round 1 in the midst of an internet outage that left me unable to really do anything at home besides clean my room n stuff . ended up skimping out on sets because i just wanted to get some homework done in peace, but i've returned today in full force to play those games and cash in those sets and make some progress on the new Triple Tribe Season 3 event that i hadn't gotten to claim yesterday due to my homework and exhaustion!!! and since i was out of the internet outage range for a little bit... i used up some arcaea stamina to get this INSANE sightread PM on Prayer (FTR-8, MAX-1????) as FTR PM #203...

once i finally arrived at the arcade, i started off my day with... IIDX!!! that beautiful DJ game i knew and loved... awaiting my arrival to the arcade now that i was a Pinky Crush 7th Dan and could access 10s on first stage! i hopped on and played as much as i could, though i don't believe i warmed up enough as i ended up getting knocked out on quite a few credits... but i got back up (haha), tried again, and actually got a few clears! well, not a lot, but Ah Well

despite those clears, however, i still didn't feel like IIDX was going all that well for me. realizing the Triple Tribe event required me to play the Big Three and knowing just how busy SDVX gets especially on weekends, i set off to go play that instead!!! and by GOD were these scores insane, as if the iidx improvement carried over if even just a bit . i was out here getting consistent AAA+s on 17s, massively beating old and new scores alike, most notably on Trance Dance Anarchy [MXM 17] and Overdrive/Kanbu de Tomatte Sugu [INF 17], Himiko [EXH 17], and... ENDYMION [EXH 17]??? the ENDYMION score is super surprising because Holy Hell i think that's the highest score i've ever gotten on a 17 . ENDYMION for first 17 S??? maybe...

once i finished my set with ENDYMION in it, the gold DDR cab was right about up from daily maintenance, so i hopped on it to grind out the Triple Tribe event as you could only gain points on the gold cab... but actually? once i found the right visual offset for the cab compared to the white ones, this session was SUPER smooth!!! my goal above all was to raise my flare rank via Lv.16 & Lv.15 Flare EX clears across the eras, which i successfully did accomplish!!! there's certainly more that i can do/wanted to do, but i think i got quite a lot of good ones as well as quite a lot of tragic scores... (like the miss flag on GROOVE 06 [ESP-16] and the black flag on I'm So Happy [CSP-16]...)

finishing off the session despite my exhaustion are two funny Doubles scores on SMX and PIU, with a 4-star 92k on UTOPIA [FULL 22] in StepManiaX, and a sightread S rank on Stardream -Eurobeat Remix- D18 in PIU!!! (the latter happening shortly before getting Annihilated by Dignity D20) . aaaand since i was so exhausted + had a bit of homework to do, that's where it ends for today!! catch you next time, hopefully...

My mood this evening has been "fuck Procreate & DOUBLE FUCK APPLE"

My ipad is running very low on storage. I cannot put an SD card inside it like my (android) phone so I bought an adapter (as well as an SD card bc the two I have are in my switch & my phone)

I cannot move Procreate to the SD card like how I can move apps on my phone to the SD card. Procreate hosts my art files inside the app itself & I cannot access those files from the files app. So I have to export the files to the SD card.

I spent a while trying to figure out some backdoor ish way of being able to move the original files instead of essentially making copies. I even looked up ios emulators (I have Nox installed on my laptop which is an android emulator) but the ones I found are for developers.

So now, after I had copied all my procreate files to this SD card, I have decided that I am going to be done with Procreate and just shell out the $5/month for CSP. So now I am exporting all my procreate files as PSDs so I can open them in CSP if I so choose.

EDIT: Okay now that I've slept, I'm less mad at procreate. I did end up deleting it last night, but I know that the devs are generally pretty chill (and against AI stuff last I checked) so saying "fuck procreate" is a little extreme. I will forever hate Apple though so they can still fuck off.

I've been meaning to ask you what brushes you use for your comics of 2D Bendy. I'm trying to find a similar brush for Fire Alpaca but I have no idea what they are called. I used to draw traditionally with similar brushes/pencils. I have been feeling the need to return to drawing in such brushes/pencils again since following you. Only this time I'll be doing it digitally. Idk, it just feels more natural drawing with such tools digitally then with the same old Pen tool.

I simply use a slight variant of CSP’s brush “Rough Pencil”, which uses a texture to simulate a pencil. I’m sure that you can get one for FireAlpaca somewhere (sadly I never tried it so idk how to help)

I really love that brush simply because I used to sketch a lot with pencils back in the day, so it’s like my spiritual tool of some sort.
