not that the series keeps to realism much but bakugou constantly sweating out and absorbing a blood-pressure lowering and improved oxygen flow to the heart medication is great for him in battle, potentially horrible outside of it especially when it can cause headaches or other forms of toxicity in high enough doses (sucks for Anyone around him)
i assume like his mother who is constantly coated in glycerin his body is perfectly adapted cause he isn't just like Making power like a typical emitter type it's being made inside his body and secreting out cause it is well sweat. And his body has adapted to be able to make regular and explosive sweat. It's also like he has conscious control over the secretion of his sweat and that's not a thing others are doing. It's kind of fascinating. I wonder if like in the instance of his powers being taken through say Easerhead if he'd keep sweating nitroglycerin but just be unable to ignite it. Cause his mother's quirk is mutant classification and I wonder if his sweat is like that and the igniting of it to be an explosion is a secondary emitter type quirk
anyways hilarious that the thing that makes dynamite is also medication

Minetaverse: The KiriBaku Scandal + KiriBaku Kids
In the Minetaverse, there is one moment in the timeline that caused basically every source of pain for this universe's antagonists and protagonists.
This event would be the KiriBaku Scandal.
To set the scene, KiriBaku was basically the power couple. They are both from the famous Class 1-A, they are both super powerful, they were both at the center of villain attacks at a young age, and finally they balance each other out perfectly.
So, why the scandal?
You see, I have a big issue with canon Bakugou. It is no secret on this blog I don't like how he is handled from warping other characters personalities whenever he is in the same panel to the general lack of consequences for actions that are uncomfortably abusive in nature.
He is the weakest link for me in Boku No Hero Academia, but considering how on the Minetaverse I leave canon mostly untouched I decided I would write how I believe Bakugou would turn out after UA.
Also known as a huge dick.
Bakugou is extremely work driven. Bakugou is constantly chasing the number one title, antagonizing Midoriya even after all these years, while also having to battle Yaoyorozu threatening his number two spot.
This in turn makes Bakugou displeased with Kirishima's hero career. From Kirishima forming a hero duo with a shitty extra (Tetsutetsu), and Kirishima being perfectly happy ranking in the top twenty-five.
Work driving a couple apart is a common trope, but with Bakugou's workaholic nature he is often out of the house and Kirishima being the traumatized extrovert he is crashes at the Kaminari-Sero-Tetsutetsu-Shishikura household so he isn't the warm body in the house. Bakugou is also an early riser, so if Kirishima does wake up at the apartment then he is greeted by a cold bed.
To summarize, what originally drew Kirishima to Bakugou (his determined nature and his desire to win) causes Kirishima to fall out of love.
Kirishima, a little desperate to keep their marriage a float, suggests having children since all their friends are starting families.
Intermission:
We interrupt this post to bring you this op approved message. The KiriBaku Kids: Rapidfire.
Akihada Bakugou; Quirk: Bombshell: In Bakugou's words, he has the perfect combination of their quirks. He secretes nitroglycerin from his skin, and it ignites when in contact with another living organism or object. This also provides a form of built in armor. (Short Version: Static from metal shocking you except it is an explosion) His secondary quirk allows him to ensure the explosions.
Genkei Bakugou; Quirk: Mineral Explosion: Genkei can cause the grains of the earth to set off explosions. He does this by directing his hands at the area he wishes for the explosions to go off.
Now Back to Regular Posting:
Kirishima was overjoyed to see the quirk created kids, and spent a good time with them. Bakugou backed off of his work to properly instill the desire to be a hero within his kids throughout the years.
Small problem, Akihada doesn't want to become a hero at all. Upon learning his grandfather (Masaru Bakugou) is a fashion designer he discovers a love for designing clothes and fashion in general. When Akihada expressed this it caused what is known as the KiriBaku Scandal.
Aka, their divorce.
Both kids mental health went down the drain as they were at the center of it all. The papers being filed, the custody battle, the reporters hounding them. This was a big deal as KiriBaku was viewed as having an unshakable bond.
In the end, Kirishima left with Akihada (considering the reason Kirishima finally pulled out the divorce papers was Bakugou refusing to let Akihada to enter the support course) and Bakugou was left with Genkei.
The reason this is considered a scandal is because the Class of 1-A, considering a tight nit family in the eyes of the public, unraveled at the seems. Suddenly it became clear that the environment they were in around each other was toxic whether they wanted to admit it or not. The background classmates getting overshadowed with little help or interaction with their more popular classmates. The way Kaminari and Mina were dismissed due to their intelligence. Bakugou and Midoriya's 'friemdship' coming to light. It does not help that Class 1-A was still recovering from the sexual assault charges against Mineta.
The faith in Class 1-A shattered, and Bakugou along with Midoriya struggled to keep their top ten spot due to the fact their found family story absolutely fell a part. During this time, focus turned to Class 1-B which caused a boost in popularity for Amazon (Kendou) and Bulletproof Hero: Real Steel (Tetsutetsu).
Not only did it shake up the hero charts, it also caused hero infighting from those not even close with Class 1-A. This lead to heroes refusing to work together, which lead to abandonned districts and routes, which lead those who lived on the streets to have to protect themselves, which lead to haywire quirks, which lead to orphans and children to get thrown in Remediation left and right, which lead to bitterness and resentment that cause the ambitions of the Minetaverse protagonists and antagonists.
Now, where are Akihada and Genkei in all of this?
Akihada, already terrified of his quirk due to the fact no one can touch him without getting hurt which also means the boy has never had any physical contact in his life, basically works himself into the ground to prove to Kirishima and the world that the divorce wasn't for nothing.
Meanwhile, Genkei didn’t have a good role model growing up as Bakugou lost himself into his violence on the field and his work. Genkei naturally adopted these traits. Genkei also works hard because he feels like Bakugou is disappointed in getting the weaker son so he wants to prove himself to his father.
That is the KiriBaku Scandal, not fun.

I am trying to think of a post to make... maybe something about the Hive Revenants. Like a unique mechanic or a new type of reward for beating them or something.
Like some kind of mutated mod different from amalgam mods; mods that are hybrids of two regular mods but with lower values, but which are not exclusive to their 'parent' components. Examples:
Infected Cryo Rounds; a mutated mod combining the effects of Infected Clip and Cryo Rounds, offering +45% toxic damage and +45% cold damage for primary weapons
Vital Strike; a mutated mod combining the effects of Vital Sense and Point Strike, offering +60% critical damage and +75% critical chance for primary weapons.
Hornet Diffusion; a mutated mod combining the effects of Hornet Strike and Barrel Diffusion, offering +110% damage and +60% multi-shot for secondary weapons.
Heated Gambit; a mutated mod combining the effects of Heated Charge and Pistol Gambit, offering +45% heat damage and +60% critical chance for secondary weapons.
Molten Overload; a mutated mod combining the effects of Molten Impact and Condition Overload, offering +45% heat damage and +40% melee damage per status type affecting the target for melee weapons.
Quickened Strike; a mutated mod combining the effects of Quickening and Rending Strike; offering +20% attack speed, +10% combo count chance, +30% slash damage, and +40% puncture damage for melee weapons.
idk does that sound right? Obviously subject to balancing and changes; let me know what you think. Also note that +cold and +toxic on the same mod doesn't automatically mean +viral damage. They are counted separately and subject to elemental combining based on normal mod priority. However, having mods that can add values of secondary elements regardless of existing elements on the weapon would be hot AF. Like
Nitroglycerin Coating; adds 90% blast damage to melee weapons.
Acid Rounds; adds 90% corrosive damage to secondary weapons.
Foul Propellant; adds 90% gas damage to primary weapons.
Lodestone Blade; adds 90% magnetic damage to melee weapons.
Uranium Tipped Munitions; adds 90% radiation damage to secondary weapons.
Bio-hazard Payload; adds 90% viral damage to primary weapons.
just to offer some examples.
