i feel like people have been jumping to attack anyone who says negative things about totk… but i’m kind of……. disappointed in it for various reasons. i’ve played every 3D zelda game (and loved most of them so i’m not a random hater lmao) and this just doesn’t feel like part of the series to me. the dungeons are incredibly lackluster and the whole fusing/ultrahand building stuff is janky and does not work well imo. the depths are cool at first but get old fast. the good stuff about totk is almost exclusively stuff from botw with a few exceptions. idk man. i think i got my hopes up too high

#my post #i’ve played many many hours now and i’m just not convinced it’s different enough from botw #the fusing/building/ultra hand is the most different #the fusing is honestly just kind of a hassle to me #but the much bigger issue imo is that the ultrahand/building stuff is not super useful #ESPECIALLY the vehicles. they dont control well and perform TERRIBLY over any mildly bumpy terrain #literally just a waste of time to build any type of vehicle #the depths are decently cool but the novelty kind of wears off imo. i’ll have to see how i feel on that because i haven’t done the quest yet #it’s just like…. you keep just about everything the same from BOTW and then add a few lackluster things and new cutscenes and sell it at $70 #like what did nintendo spend the last 6-7 years doing lmao
