is it weird to get married the day before your parents’ anniversary
ok now what if your parents’ birthdays are a few days either side of that date
#we’re tossing around either a random Saturday in April#OR the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend#the random april Saturday is better re: family dates overlap#but worse re: religion logistics (shabbat; I don’t mind but it might be hard to find an officiant who also doesn’t mind)#the Memorial Day Sunday is better for PTO usage and religion logistics and Leaves On Trees#but worse for family date overlap and travel pricing for out of town folks#(half the guest list is local another quarter is driving/train distance but still hotel and the final quarter is flying distance)#tree.txt#oh also my parents have said it isn’t weird and they Don’t care#if we did it next year we would share an anniversary (cute) but our fave venue is booked UP for 2025
