Hiking the Bruce Trail and waterfall chasing has been a big part of our lives over the past two years. So, when Nick's mum learned of a hotel that is right on the Bruce trail and has a waterfall, she knew a stay here would be an excellent gift. 🏞 The @fallsinnandspa is located in the town of Walter's Falls. The property is situated right along the Bruce trail with two access points. Walter's Falls is in the backyard, and we were lucky enough to score the room with the best view overlooking the falls. 🌳 The scenery and grounds around the hotel are gorgeous, the proximity to the Bruce Trail can't be beat, and the waterfall is lovely. The hotel is a wonderful place to stay with fantastic Hospitality, and the food.... Oh my gawd..the food at the restaurant was terrific. Name: sam. Location: hibernating in toronto with creature (posco) and the beast (nyx). And now for the randomness! Tell me your most and least favourites of: Candy? most: skittles. least: i kinda sorta don't actually like chocolate? *dodges flying fruit* Seasons? most: summer. least: spring. i second what jess said — when you live in canada, spring is only pretty in the movies. Hot beverage? most: coffeeeeeeee. least: i can't image liking mulled wine… Cold beverage? most: on an average day, water. if i'm hungover, rootbeer. if it's hot as balls outside, a long island iced tea in the backyard. least: margaritas (or anything with tequila). Colours? most: black (its a colour, i don't care). least: yellow. Vegetables? most: po-tay-toes! boil em', mash em', stick'em in a stew… least: mushrooms (unless they're super duper magical). Traditional foods from your country? most: poutine is clearly the only correct answer. least: buttertarts? i dunno, canada isn't really know for its traditional anything lol. Insects? most: lady bugs are pretty cute. least: spiders (they count, i don't care). also, did you know that the worst part of being single isn't actually the lack of companionship or sex or any such thing? no, it's knowing that no matter how much you cry and scream about it, at the end of the day, its gonna have to be you that kills the spider in the corner of the ceiling above your bed. Cake flavours? most: so in addition to chocolate i also don't really like desserts? *dodges flying cookware* plain cheese cake with strawberries is pretty good though i guess. least: anything really rich/chocolately. i'm weird. whatever. Non-Gallagher or Milkovich Shameless characters? most: kev or sheila, for the laughs. least: trevor. sorry not sorry. even if i could divorce my dislike of him from my feelings about mickey (i can't), i would still find him insufferable and annoying as all hell.
