Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Dimensions’ End Transcendence Tier 11

The Dimensions’ End: Transcendence Tier 11 Lufenia (level 200) and Shinryu (level 300) quests just started in the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game.

If you bring a char equipped with a Burst or BT weapon to a Transcendence battle, the entire party’s stats will be enhanced.

Dimensions’ End: Transcendence, Tier 11, Crucible 1 Lufenia Quest

The Dimensions’ End: Transcendence, Tier 11, Crucible 1 Lufenia quest has 1 wave with 2 enemies, the Lunatic Dark Bahamut and the Lunatic Hope Estheim (from Final Fantasy XIII) Manikin.

As part of the mission requirements, you need to win within 60 turns and you need to have a Green Crystal char in your party.

The Lufenia orb will show up on battle start and it can’t be cancelled. To increase the orb count by 5, a char must lose HP from an enemy’s attack or from a char’s ability.

If a char moves, the count will be decreased by 1. If an enemy moves, the count will be decreased by 2.

Decided to solo this fight with Rinoa Heartilly from Final Fantasy VIII (#ad). My summon was The Brothers and my Call was Seymour Guado’s from Final Fantasy X.

Have Rinoa’s 15cp, 35cp, Ex, LD, BT, and FR fully MLB. Her Ex has been Purpled or at Ex+ 3/3. Her Burst has been upgraded to Green or BT+ 3/3. She has her High Armor and it’s been Blued.

Rinoa’s Summon Boards, Character Enhancement Boards, and Force Enhancements have been completed. She has her Bloom Stone.

She has 3 ATK 108 with MAX BRV 330 Artifacts as well as 3 ATK 108 with Leader of the Forest Owls Boost★★ (Increases BRV damage dealt with BRV Attack+ (Angelo), BRV Attack+ (Angel Wing), HP Attack+ (Angel Wing) by 5%) Artifacts.

Rinoa is equipped with the following real Spheres:

The Cloud of Darkness’s (from Final Fantasy III) Break Hit Raging Magic Attack Up A Sphere

When inflicting Break or attacking target afflicted with Break: • Raises own MAG ATK by 3% up to 5 times, once per turn *Does not stack with same sphere

Alphinaud Leveilleur’s (from Final Fantasy XIV) Buff Success Base Attack All Shorter C Sphere

After granting buff: • Raises party’s INT BRV, ATK by 5% for 3 turns

Deuce’s (from Final Fantasy Type-0) All Buff Attack Up 3 D Sphere

Raises party’s ATK by 5% with 3 or more active buffs

Rinoa is currently equipped with a Level 5 of 5 Special or Unique-type Ultima Weapon.

Rinoa is a really good magical DPS. She also has some supportive capabilities such as being able to heal and providing some party-wide auras. She’s better as a DPS though.

Rinoa’s Crystal color is Green so I didn’t need to bring anyone else in order to clear all the mission requirements for this fight.

Seymour’s Calls afflict the enemies with multiple debuffs. His LD Call can also delay all enemies by 2 turns. Made use of this delay to give Rinoa more turns.

IIRC, the enemies only got to move a few times and they didn’t really do much damage.

Rinoa’s Angel Wing skill has instant turn rate. This doesn’t deal damage but it does buff her. It also helps to get the force gauge to charge faster. Used Angel Wing a lot but also made use of Rinoa’s other abilities.

The Lufenia orb wasn’t much of an issue since Rinoa has skills that consume a bit of her HP every time she uses them. There were also times wherein the enemies got to deal HP damage to Rinoa. Good thing she can heal herself.

When my force gauge was finally fully charged, had Rinoa activate her FR followed by her BT+ finisher. By then the enemies were down to 88% HP.

Once I only have 7 turns of force time left, had Rinoa activate her Burst+ phase already. By then the enemies were down to 73% HP, the Lufenia orb was at 11, and the HP damage bonus was at 345%.

One of the effects of Rinoa’s BT+ finisher is that her HP attack will be transformed into 6 uses of this special move called Ultima (Angel Wing). This attack deals a lot of damage but it also consumes a bit of Rinoa’s HP upon use.

Casting Rinoa’s FR will also consume some of her HP which was one of the reasons why she wasn’t at full health when I went into her Burst+ mode.

Another reason was because the enemies got to attack and deal HP damage to her and I was using her skills that consume a bit of her HP upon use. So Rinoa’s HP was currently at around half or thereabouts.

Had Rinoa spam Ultima (Angel Wing). Even on her own, she’s really powerful. She was able to take off huge chunks of the boss’s HP every time she moved.

It didn’t take long for the Hope Manikin to croak it although he was soon brought back by Bahamut. Wasn’t even bothering to target the Hope Manikin though.

Just had Rinoa focus on Bahamut, letting AoE or splash damage deal with the Manikin.

Since Rinoa was able to deal so much damage and since it looked like the fight was gonna end right after her BT+ phase, had her use her moves that can heal so I could get her back to full HP.

By the time Rinoa was about to cast Wings of the Heart, her finishing Burst+ move, have 1 turn of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 885%. Rinoa was back to full health while Bahamut was down to 1% HP. The Hope Manikin had once again died but this time Bahamut hadn’t resurrected him.

The fight ended on turn 6 as soon as Rinoa’s Burst+ phase was over. Got the score and all the other mission requirements which also got me the Perfect.

Rinoa did so well. She’s really good. Super pleased that I was able to solo this Crucible with her. This fight was really easy thanks to Rinoa.

The Dimensions’ End: Transcendence, Tier 11, Crucible 2 Lufenia quest has 1 wave with 2 enemies, the Lunatic SAM08G.

As part of the mission requirements, you need to win within 60 turns and you need to have a Black Crystal char in your party.

The Lufenia orbs will show up on battle start and it can’t be cancelled. To increase the count by 2, a char must deal elemental weakness damage to the enemy.

If a char moves, the count will be decreased by 1. If an enemy moves, the count will be decreased by 2.

For this fight, my team was Kuja from Final Fantasy IX and Gladiolus Amicitia from Final Fantasy XV with The Brothers as my summon. My Calls were Seymour’s and Lilisette’s from Final Fantasy XI.

Have Gladiolus’s and Kuja’s 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD fully MLB. Their Ex weapons have been Purpled. They have their High Armors and both have been Realized to 0/3. Kuja has his Burst and it’s been fully MLB but it hasn’t been Greened.

They have triple perfect Artifacts as well as their Bloom Stones. Kuja has triple real Spheres while Glaio has triple RF Spheres.

All of their Summon Boards have been completed but haven’t gotten any of their Force Enhancements.

Kuja has all of his Character Enhancement Boards while Gladiolus has all of the Char Boards for his 15cp, 35cp, and Ex. Unlocked parts of the Char Boards for his LD, particularly the tiles that would give me his LD Call and LD extension passive.

Gladiolus is currently equipped with my Level 5 of 5 Greatsword Ultima Weapon while Kuja has my Level 5 of 5 Special or Unique-type Ultima Weapon. Kuja’s Crystal Color is Red while Gladio’s is Black.

Kuja is a magical DPS slash support. He deals decent enough damage while also providing some pretty decent party-wide buffs and auras. He can enchant the party and imperil enemies with the holy element.

He was one of the first chars who came to mind when I saw that the Lufenia orbs for this quest requires elemental weakness damage. Couldn’t solo this fight with Kuja though since mine isn’t even fully built and he doesn’t have the right Crystal color.

So I looked through the Black Crystal chars that I have yet to lock on to a Transcendence Tier and that was when I came across Gladiolus.

Gladio is a counter tank. With the buff from his LD, he takes 0 damage from the attacks of the enemies. He also provides some pretty decent party-wide buffs and auras as well as HP Regen.

He’ll take the place of his allies every time they’re hit with single-target attacks. He’ll also counter and deal damage every time he’s attacked.

Kuja and Gladiolus did pretty well. Their damage wasn’t that good though but that was only to be expected since they weren’t fully built.

Gladio kept himself and Kuja safe while Kuja enchanted them both with the holy element and made sure that they’d be able to keep the Lufenia orbs up.

The enemies tended to buff themselves a lot, which was annoying but other than that, they didn’t seem all that dangerous.

Just had Gladiolus and Kuja keep on spamming their skills. It didn’t matter even if the enemies got to move on a regular basis since Gladio just kept on countering and blocking the single-target attacks.

Once the enemies were down to around 52% or so HP, had Kuja activate his Burst phase already.

Since my Kuja’s BT hasn’t been Greened, he didn’t deal that much damage during his Burst mode.

By the time Kuja was about to cast Flare Star, his finishing Burst move, the enemies were at 38% HP.

A turn or 2 after Kuja’s Burst mode ended, summoned The Brother already. Just continued spamming Gladio’s and Kuja’s abilities.

Soon, the enemies were down to around 2% HP. It was Gladiolus’s turn. He was the one who finished off both bosses at the same time, ending the battle on turn 15.

Got the score and all the other mission requirements which also got me the Perfect.

This fight was pretty easy. Kuja and Gladiolus did really well even if they weren’t fully built. Pleased that I was able to duo this Crucible with them.

Dimensions’ End: Transcendence, Tier 11 Reckoning Shinryu Quest Take 1

The Dimensions’ End: Transcendence, Tier 11, Reckoning Shinryu quest has 1 wave with 2 enemies, the Lunatic Armaloes.

For this fight, my team was Rinoa, Kuja, and Gladiolus with The Brothers as my summon. My Calls were Seymour’s, Raijin’s from Final Fantasy VIII, and Paladin Cecil Harvey’s from Final Fantasy IV.

Looking at the tips section, mechanics, and enemy info for this fight made it seem like this quest was gonna be really hard. There’s a lot of things to take note of and watch out for.

But a fully built and maxed out Rinoa is so good that she can actually solo this Shinryu quest. She needs Cater’s (from Final Fantasy Type-0) Call though.

I have all of Cater’s weapons but not all of them are fully MLB, and I have yet to spend the resources needed to unlock her LD Call.

I opted not to bother unlocking Cater’s LD Call though because there seems to be some RNG involved in having Rinoa solo this Shinryu quest. Didn’t really want to deal with that so I thought it’d be easier to just bring a full team to this fight.

The enemies here have this HP poison aura effect that takes off a bit of a char’s HP right before they move. As if that wasn’t bad enough, they also have this move called Needle Shower.

This reduces the HP of all chars to 20% of their current health. This is guaranteed to hit and ignores HP damage mitigation effects.

When the force gauge of the enemies reaches 20%, 70%, and 80%, they will automatically debuff your chars. This includes 1 turn of a paralyze debuff. The paralyze debuff is annoying but at least it only lasts for 1 turn.

And if you time things correctly, you could have a char use a Call right when the enemies will apply their debuffs so the Called char will be the one who will get debuffed.

When the force gauge of the enemies reaches 50%, they will now start absorbing non-elemental physical and magical BRV damage. To bypass this, a char will have to enchant the party and imperil the enemies with an element.

Thanks to having Kuja and his holy enchant and imperil, this wasn’t an issue at all.

No, the issue, as I soon found out, was the HP poison aura and Needle Shower. The enemies seem to like using Needle Shower at regular intervals which is really freaking annoying.

With all the HP damage from the poison and Needle Shower, Gladio’s HP Regen wasn’t enough to keep from failing the HP lost mission requirement for this fight. That’s actually why I brought Paladin Cecil’s Calls. Both Calls heal the party. But even that didn’t seem to be enough.

Rinoa’s damage output was really super special awesome. She’s so powerful. She really deserves all the hype that she’s been getting and that she continues to get.

Gladiolus and Kuja did well enough but their damage was nothing compared to what Rinoa was capable of.

Since only Rinoa has Force Enhancements, had to wait for a while before my force gauge charged to 100%. I did make use of Rinoa’s Angel Wing but didn’t spam it all at once.

It was turn 16 when my force gauge finally charged to 100%. By then the enemies were down to 85% HP and their force gauge was at 94.4%.

On Rinoa’s turn, had her use her FR already. Using her FR paused the force gauge of the enemies so it wasn’t charging anymore.

Had to wait for Rinoa to get another turn before I could use her BT+ finisher. In the meanwhile, the enemies and Kuja and Gladiolus got to move. This also meant that the turns I had left during my force time kept on going down.

Should have activated Rinoa’s BT+ finisher first. As it was, things got so messed up that by the time I went into Rinoa’s Burst+ phase, only had 4 turns of force time left. The HP damage bonus was at 440% and the enemies were down to 62% and 66% HP.

My chars weren’t at full health thanks to the poison aura and Needle Shower. Maybe I shouldn’t have used Rinoa’s Burst+ mode yet. Maybe I should have summoned The Brothers first.

It was too late to do any of that now though. Thankfully, Rinoa was so powerful that by the time I only had 1 turn of force time left, the enemies were down to 30% and 34% HP. Rinoa has 4 turns of BT+ time left and the HP damage bonus was at 695%.

If I had more force turns left and/or if I’d been able to get the HP damage bonus higher, I might have been able to get the win by the time Rinoa's Burst+ mode was set to end.

As it was, by the time Rinoa was about to cast Wings of the Heart, the enemies were at 13% and 12% HP. Rinoa was able to deal 84787524 total HP damage during her Burst+ mode.

It’s really too bad that Rinoa wasn’t able to finish off the enemies and end the battle already.

That wouldn’t have been a problem if not for the fact that, right after the end of Rinoa’s BT+ mode, the enemies automatically used multiple casts of Needle Shower. In no time at all, the HP of all my chars was down to 2.

Every time the enemies used Needle Shower, Gladiolus automatically countered and dealt damage to them. So soon, the bosses were down to 8% HP.

But before any of my chars could move, the force gauge of the enemies hit 100% and they immediately used their force attack which includes dealing AoE BRV + HP damage that’s guaranteed to hit.

If my chars were at full health, they might have been able to survive this. But since they were all currently at 2 HP, it wasn’t a surprise at all that they all died to the force attack of the enemies.

Dimensions’ End: Transcendence, Tier 11 Reckoning Shinryu Quest Take 2

So now I have to try this fight again. Meh. How annoying. Brought the same team, Calls, and summon as before.

This time the enemies got to use their force attack before I could activate Rinoa’s FR. Thankfully, my chars were able to survive the attack.

Had Rinoa activate her BT+ finisher first before her FR. Also made sure to use Paladin Cecil’s Calls to heal my chars before going into Rinoa’s Burst+ phase.

This time was able to make it so that I had exactly 7 turns of force time left before going into Rinoa’s BT+ mode. The HP damage bonus was at 229% and the enemies were down to 65% and 62% HP.

Just spammed Rinoa’s Ultima (Angel Wing). Unfortunately, this didn’t deal as much damage as it normally would have been able to because Rinoa was currently at max HP. Actually, she was more than at max HP thanks to Paladin Cecil’s LD Call.

Rinoa’s FR has the following force time effects:

HP damage bonus +20% when party member selects magic attack on party member’s own turn

HP damage bonus +20% when party member takes turn while special effect active

HP damage bonus +20% when party member takes turn while HP less than 100% of max HP

Additional HP damage bonus +20% when taking own turn while HP less than 100% of max HP

Because of the HP overflow from Paladin Cecil’s LD Call, the HP that Rinoa lost whenever she used Ultima (Angel Wing) wasn’t enough to bring her down to below 100% of her max HP.

So she wasn’t able to increase the HP damage bonus as much as she normally would have been able to. As such, by the time Rinoa was about to cast Wings of the Heart, the HP damage bonus was only at 539% and the Lunatic Armaloes were only at 17% and 16% HP.

The moment Rinoa’s BT+ phase ended, the enemies immediately started casting Needle Shower multiple times.

Since it wasn’t the turn of any of my chars yet, my force time had yet to end. It was still at 1 turn left but now the HP damage bonus was at 584%.

Rinoa’s Wings of the Heart left the enemies down to around 7% and 6% HP or thereabouts.

Since my force time had yet to end, Gladiolus’s counters dealt a lot of damage. So every time the enemies used Needle Shower, Gladio would counter. This happened multiple times so Gladiolus was actually able to finish off the Lunatic Armaloe just via his counters.

This would have been really awesome if not for the fact that my chars were all basically dead by now. Their health bars were down to 59, 25, and 50. Tried to quit the fight before the victory screen showed up but wasn’t able to.

Got the score and the missions that wanted me to clear this quest without any KOs and within 60 turns. Ended up with 81475 HP lost though so failed the take 15k or less HP damage mission requirement.

Dimensions’ End: Transcendence, Tier 11 Reckoning Shinryu Quest Take 3

Ugh. Really starting to hate this fight. If only I could somehow keep my chars from losing too much HP - sigh.

Anyway, brought the same team and summon but this time my Calls were Seymour’s, Raijin’s, and Lunafreya Nox Fleuret’s from Final Fantasy XV.

Once again, the enemies got to use their force attack and go into their force time before I could use Rinoa’s FR.

When my force gauge was finally charged to 100%, had Rinoa use Lunafreya’s LD Call. One of the effects of this Call is that it will give Rinoa 3 turns in a row.

After using Lunafreya’s LD Call, had Rinoa cast her FR then her BT+ finisher. Then I spammed her Angel Wing skill until I had exactly 7 turns of force time left.

That was when I went into Rinoa’s Burst+ mode. The HP damage bonus was at 360% and the Lunatic Armaloes were down to 75% and 73% HP.

Rinoa was at full HP, Kuja was down to around half of his HP or thereabouts while Gladiolus’s HP was down to the red.

Spammed Ultima (Angel Wing) but I also used Angelo Cannon to try and get my chars back to full health. If I hadn’t bothered to do that, then maybe Rinoa’s Wings of the Heart would have been able to end this battle already.

But then again, if I didn’t heal my chars, then I’ll just end up failing the HP lost mission requirement again.

By the time Rinoa was about to cast Wings of the Heart, the enemies were down to 16% and 11% HP. The HP damage bonus was at 835%. Rinoa was at full health, Kuja was nearly at full HP while Gladiolus now had half of his health back or thereabouts.

Unfortunately, Rinoa’s Wings of the Heart wasn’t able to finish off both bosses even with such a high HP damage bonus. They were left with around 6% and 1% HP.

Dimensions’ End: Transcendence, Tier 11 Reckoning Shinryu Quest Take 4

Thanks to Needle Shower, had no choice but to restart this fight again. This time my team was Rinoa, Kuja, and Gladiolus with The Brothers as my summon. My Calls were Lunafreya’s, Seymour’s, and the Warrior of Light’s from Final Fantasy I.

Raijin’s LD Call afflicts the enemies with a debuff that nullifies all HP damage for like 2 turns. Seymour’s Calls afflicts the enemies with multiple debuffs. The Warrior of Light’s Calls provides a party-wide shield buff.

Don’t know if the Warrior of Light’s Calls will be better for this fight but I thought I might as well try since the Calls I’d been using on my previous runs don’t seem to be working out well at all.

Besides, after my first try of this quest, it’s clear that the real issue here was the incoming HP damage from the poison and Needle Showers. Just need to find a way to keep my chars at near full health or thereabouts before the battle ends so I won’t end up failing the HP lost mission requirement again.

Anyway, once again, the Lunatic Armaloes got to go into their force time before I could use Rinoa’s FR. By the time my force gauge finally got charged to 100%, the enemies were down to 75% and 76% HP and they have 6 turns of their force time left.

Had Rinoa use Lunafreya’s LD Call. Then I had her activate her FR and BT+ finisher. Spammed her Angel Wing skill until I had exactly 7 turns of force time left.

That was when I went into Rinoa’s Burst+ phase. By then the Lunatic Armaloes were down to 71% and 72% HP and the HP damage bonus was at 320%. Rinoa was at full health while Gladiolus and Kuja had around half of their HP or thereabouts.

Kuja’s and Gladiolus’s Additional Abilities were currently active. Also had Kuja use the Warrior of Light’s Calls before going into Rinoa’s Burst+ mode.

This time, just had Rinoa spam Ultima (Angel Wing). By the time Rinoa was about to cast Wings of the Heart, have 1 turn of force time left and the HP damage bonus was at 830%. The Lunatic Armaloes were down to 5% and 6% HP.

Rinoa’s finishing Burst+ move was enough to finish off both enemies at the same time, ending the battle on turn 24. Rinoa was able to deal around 122273494 total HP damage during her BT+ phase.

Lost a total of 9149 HP that I hadn’t been able to heal but it’s fine since I was still able to get the score and all the other mission requirements meaning I’m finally done with this quest. Hell, yes! Even got a new high score.

Super pleased to finally be over and done with this fight. This wouldn’t have been so bad if not for the annoying HP poison and multiple Needle Showers.

i’m going to be converting xdagger to a multimuse blog, now going by sayjonmain.

i am EXTREMELY busy with work right now; so editing this blog to become a multi is going to take a lot of time to get to. the last thing when i get home from work with only a few hours to myself is do more work, you feel me? which is normally what i have to do anyway b/c chores won’t do themselves. but it is on the to-do list. just don’t know when it’ll be finished.

So a friend of mine told me that given that we are now in 2020, it will be fun if I did a top 20 ships of the past decade for me and boy, did I thought was a good idea and I have decided, why not right? I will be listing them here and...if followers decide to read it...well...

You will quickly notice that probably that most, if not all the ships fall on the following categories: a) rare-ships that are obv not canon; b) ships that are obviously crack; c) ships that had wasted potential, the ones hinted but never happened or briefly happened in canon and writers decided to fuck up. There’s also only one...one RL ship and I am ashamed yet not, but had to list it because I spent a long time hung up on it so don’t judge me.

So yes list...

Before the list, no list is complete without some honorable mentions, these are mostly ships I either got into the hype to recently (not being dedicated for years as the one I will list) or had my fancy then lost it.

TOP 20 SHIPS OF THE PAST DECADE

20. Spuhura - Spock x Nyota Uhura (Star Trek original and reboot): Again this was another ship that I liked, since the original series, while everyone was Spirk this and that, I was like,’’yas, yas give me the sweet, sweet Spock and Uhura interactions’ and I was happy the reboot hooked them up, even if that ended dubiously but for a glorious moment, I had it.

19. Swarkles - Barney Stinson x Robin Scherbatsky (HIMYM): This is one of those ships I am bitter, bitter and salty about, there are more in this list in fact next spot is another one. But I loved it and I did think they complimented each other better than the wet noodle they stuck Robin with, they took the time to know the other, grown separately and then together, the episode where Barney proposed to Robin gave me all the feels and it was so sweet, and then fuck the writers deciding to do what they did. It’s no wonder the finale of this show is so hated.

18. Lotura - Lotor x Allura (Voltron Legendary Defender): When they announced a new reboot to Voltron I didn’t think much of it. I had fancied Lotor x Allura in the original series, as dubious as that was, but then I started to watch this Netflix thing and there was something between them, something more tangible and I was happy. It was this strong woman with an equally strong man encouraging her strength and not putting her in the box of the exotic pretty princess, like a certain dude, and wanted to know her mind and interests, they discovered things together and for a brief moment knew peace and I was here so happy that we were getting something good and then fuck the writers again that decided ‘Nah bro, you’re not getting it’ and you know to fuck off again. I will always have fan fiction I guess.

17. VinTi - Vincent Valentine x Tifa Lockhart (Final Fantasy VII series): This is a ship that I think started to like during my second playthrough of the game, I always figured the both could work, both having loved people that for one reason or another couldn’t fully love them back (Lucrecia due to damn guilt and Cloud because of Aerith) and both were mature enough to fit together, I just like them okay.

16. Helsa - Hans x Elsa (Frozen): Truly, I have never made it a secret that I really dislike this movie, I truly do. The only good things were Hans (which I am still huh at the ‘turns out he is evil’ I still call trolls) and Elsa (because of her damn powers) and then the next step was shipping them and honestly, he should have gone for the older sister lmao, they make more sense and there have very nice fiction out there.

15. Yuzuvier - Javier Fernandez x Yuzuru Hanyu (Figure Skating): Ahh, we have reached my dreaded and dark secret only RPF fancy. Be it broship or more, I always liked the friendship and camaraderie these two skaters had with each other, they were rink mates and rivals but above all friends. I was kokoro break when Yuzuru was telling Javi that he couldn’t do it without him and stop it you two. I just like them, they are wholesome.

14. Victuuri - Viktor Nikiforov x Yuuri Katsuki (Yuri!!! On Ice): And here we have another precious figure skating duo when I started to watch this series it was only because it was a figure skating anime and I love figure skating, I never expected to see a wholesome and wonderful healthy relationship to explode in front of me. The relationship between Viktor and Yuuri is just so lovely, so mature, they both worked through issues, grew from them and accepted them even and I can’t I love it. (Special mention here to Yurio x Mila, as is another ship I love from this series and so underrepresented).

13. Jonerys - Jon Snow x Daenerys Targaryen (ASOIAF/GoT): Regardless of the stupidity committed in the series, I have shipped them since the books, because I can read in between the lines and there are too many parallels between them and their journeys, ones that at will some point collide and bring them together in a way that will be worth it, so better make it count George.

12. Rhaegar Targaryen x Lyanna Stark (ASOIAF/GoT): Yes, mea culpa, I love tis ship and no one can shame me for liking it and boy has people tried to do so. Were these two smart of escaping like that and not saying a thing? Nope, they were so not. Was Brandon smart going to Kings Landing, knowing there was a crazy king with a penchant of burning people and demanding his heir's head? Nope, that was probably the stupidest move of all. Do I want to believe they loved each other? Why not? Martin has a penchant for tragic love stories, I know this ship is problematical for some, but I still love it and if you see spot 10 here, well I have varied tastes.

11. Soriku - Riku x Sora (Kingdom Hearts series): Come on, this is a given. Prior to Kairi appearing, it was clear Sora was Riku’s world and Riku’s was Sora, they were attached to the hip, the rivalry for Kairi more felt like Riku being jealous of Kairi and wanting Sora’s attention back. Then we have KH2 where Sora spent the whole damn game being all ‘Riku, Riku!’ and Riku doing his damn best to help him from the shadows, ashamed to be seen. DDD was more Riku protecting him and Sora leaning on him, even KH3 had Sora wanting to find and reach Riku, and then Riku going once again to find him by the end, so I am sorry but if there was a love story written here it was between these two.

10. Hannigram - Hannibal Lecter x Will Graham (Hannibal): Quite honestly, from all the things I ship, they are probably what one will consider the most toxic one I guess, which fair considering one part of the ship is a charismatic yet cannibalistic serial killer. But there was something in the way this relationship was developed by Fuller and brilliantly brought out by Mads and Hughs that just hooked me, their soft moments, their violent ones, it just somehow worked for me. I guess this is also one of the few canon ships that I have, funny enough.

09. Rivetra - Levi Ackerman x Petra Ral (Shingeki no Kyojin): Who will have thought that a series about human eating titans was going to give me one of my most everlasting and also shortlived OTP’s. Years can pass by and I will still love this ship, my heart will still believe there was something more between them, something that was realized or something that wasn’t, I don’t know, but I will forever love it and even though years have passed since she died, I always enjoy the hints here and there that he still remembers her or hints where we are supposed to do so.

08. Squinoa - Squall Leonhart x Rinoa Heartilly (Final Fantasy VIII): People can say whatever the fuck they want ‘the love story was rushed’ ‘we hate Rinoa’ (fuck you btw) but it doesn’t change the fact that Squall fell in love with her and that Rinoa helped him to open up, to not take things for granted and Squall taught her to be even stronger and conquer her fears, they helped each other grow and it’s what matters in the end.

07. Feanor x Nerdanel (Tolkien): This is probably, from all the romantic relationships that Tolkien has gifted us, which I have loved the most and held my attention the longest. They have the happy times, the ones that were full of joy when they met and fell in love and had their children, then we have the tumultuous times when he became too obsessed with this craft, the separation when he left with their kids leaving her behind in her pain and then their possible reencounter when he leaves the Halls of Mandos and how they might deal with it.

06. ItaHina - Itachi Uchiha x Hinata Hyuuga (Naruto): Both the heads of two of the most important clans of their villages, both with heavy expectations upon their shoulders that nearly broke them, only one was talented from the start and the other had to learn, yet they are also similar. Both love their siblings to a fault, sacrificing so much for them and their happiness, both seem to hate conflict yet know is necessary and both are devoted and loyal to a fault, they would have suited each other wonderfully, in an AU probably they would have gotten engaged, who knows, but it would have been wonderful.

05. SessKik - Sesshoumaru x Kikyou (Inuyasha): A ship that could have been but that we didn’t have. This is a ship that has been with me for years and I don’t plan to let it go, they were the best players (in a sense) in that game against Naraku, also probably the strongest, both level headed and smart, not easily intimidated and calculating, together they would have been quite a formidable force and it’s a shame we didn’t get to see that.

04. Bethyl - Daryl Dixon x Beth Greene (The Walking Dead): Another wasted potential and gone so soon, not to mention forever salty at the waste. The way they were being developed promised so much, in the few time he was with her, well, she taught him to have faith and it’s something that apparently still shows from times to times (I am not sure as I stopped with this show) and imagine how it will have gone if they had more time. Just a waste.

03. Romanogers - Steve Rogers x Natasha Romanov (Marvel/MCU): I have been shipping them for years, like honestly, and when the MCU was showing me the seeds of potentiality I was happy, not even that stupidity with Bruce killed my hope, as they still had this steady relationship, he trusted her and she trusted him, something that she couldn’t say of many, they had each others back and took care of the other...but again another wasted potential right there.

02. Huddy - Gregory House x Lisa Cuddy (House MD): I spent years, kind of, season after season watching the delicious and lovely UST between these two characters, watching them snark and then help each other, watching the ‘won’t they will they’ dance, waiting for the moment when these two will finally collide and my lord was it glorious when they finally did, and I was eager to see where it went, as they both seemed to be in relatively good places, but no once again forbid the writers to stop House from being self-destructive and another ship I had waited years was ruined.

01. Terrence "Terry" Graham Grandchester x Candice "Candy" White Adley (Candy Candy): And this is still my most important ship of the decade, I was forever bitter they never ended together and that their authors decided to make them suffer so much, but then Final Story came and all clues were pointing that aha they did found the other again and ended together as they were supposed to be, and before anyone says shizz, I did manage to read the novel and I do believe all hints were there to let us all know the identity of her husband was Terry and I am so happy.

And there it is, all the ships of the decade for me lol. Next stop, I should maybe make a list of mythos ships I like lmao.

Thoughts about Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII

I really like Aeris or Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII (#ad) which is why mine is as fully built as she can possibly be. Well, mostly. But every time she gets a new weapon, I always try to pull for it.

Right now I have all of her currently available weapons (15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD) fully MLB. Her Ex has been Purpled or upgraded to Ex+ 3/3.

She has her Bloom Stone. All of her Summon Boards and Character Enhancement Boards have been completed.

Farmed the perfect Artifacts for Aerith - 3 ATK 108 with Charged Healing Wind Boost All★★ (Healing Wind use +1; raises party's MAX BRV by 15%).

Aerith is equipped with the following real Spheres:

Vaan’s (from Final Fantasy XII) Full HP Attack Up A Sphere

Raises ATK by 10% while HP is MAX

Garnet Til Alexandros XVII’s (from Final Fantasy IX) HP Heal Attack Up Longer C Sphere

When recovering own HP: • Raises own ATK by 10% for 6 turns

Deuce’s (from Final Fantasy Type-0) All Buff Attack Up 3 D Sphere

Raises party’s ATK by 5% with 3 or more active buffs

Got all of Aerith’s armors and MLB’d all of them. She’s currently equipped with her High Armor that’s been Realized to 0/3.

The only thing I haven’t done is Blue her High Armor. The resources needed to Blue a High Armor are still pretty scarce so need to be selective in who to upgrade.

By the time this feature became available for Aerith, wasn’t really using her anymore so decided not to bother upgrading her High Armor.

Aerith is a healer, support, and buffer with pretty good buffs and auras. She can even resurrect dead allies. She also deals pretty decent damage.

I’m glad that after what feels like forever, Aerith finally gets a new weapon. Too bad her FR isn’t that good.

Aerith’s FR is called Aurora Rod (VII). Its affinity ability is called Wrapped in Petals. The Force ability itself is called Flowers Floating in Another World.

Aerith’s FR partner is Eiko Carol from Final Fantasy IX. The animation for said FR is kinda bland. Don’t really find it all that remarkable or anything.

It features Aerith and Eiko interacting briefly and then petals start falling down from the sky like a rain of flowers. Honestly, that description makes it sound more interesting than it is.

Eiko and Aerith barely interacted. They were standing next to each other but they were mostly focused on their weapons as they tried to make it rain petals. And while the rain of flowers thing was nice and all, it feels like there weren’t enough petals.

Aerith’s FR has the following force time effects:

HP damage bonus +40% when party member uses ability transformed from BRV attack, HP attack on party member’s own turn

HP damage bonus +20% when party member grants ally BRV on party member’s own turn

HP damage bonus +40% when self grants ally BRV on own turn

Unfortunately, very few chars can grant BRV to their allies. Most supports should be able to do that but that also means their damage won’t be that good on account of not being a DPS.

Most chars also prefer to use their abilities and skills over their transformed BRV and/or HP attacks.

While Aerith’s FR is usable enough, there are a lot of other FRs that have better force time effects.

Honestly, I highly doubt that I’d bother to MLB Aeris’s Force weapon or use it in endgame content, even if I manage to get a copy. Still, since I do like Aerith, I want to get her FR to complete her.

Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII Costumes

As part of the release of Aerith’s Intersecting Wills story event, her costumes are now available for purchase with real money for a limited time.

In DFFOO, Aerith has 2 costumes. The first costume has the following description:

Aerith’s second costume has the following description:

This red dress is one of three possible dresses Aerith can wear in a certain chapter of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade!

Aerith’s summer dress looks really nice and I like it well enough, but what I really like is her long red dress. It looks so well-drawn and detailed with all the ruffles and such. And the color is such a very lovely shade of red.

Aerith looks so gorgeous in this outfit. It fits her perfectly. Also like the way her hair’s been styled to go alongside this dress. In contrast to that, her blue and white summer costume looks so plain and drab.

A Bouquet of Thoughts and Feelings (Intersecting Wills) Banner Tickets Pulls Results

Although I really want a copy of Aerith’s FR, really can’t justify using gems on the A Bouquet of Thoughts and Feelings (Intersecting Wills) banner for a number of reasons.

There’s the fact that I don’t really need said FR. Aerith also got a rework and update alongside the arrival of this Intersecting Wills event so she’s usable as a support and healer even without her FR.

In fact, as aforementioned, even if I get her FR, I doubt I’d spend the resources needed to max it out. I’ll just equip it to her then use someone else’s FR.

And while it’d be nice to get a copy of Alphinaud’s LD, I also don’t need it. He doesn’t even have a Force weapon yet and I don’t have any plans of using him in endgame content.

Then there’s the fact that Aerith is actually set to get a Burst weapon sometime in the future. Her BT just showed up in the Japanese version of Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia.

Can’t wait for this weapon to also show up in the English or Global version of the game. Don’t know yet if I’ll Token it or gem it but one thing’s for sure, it’s a must-have for me.

The banner that will feature Aerith’s BT will also have the rest of her weapons (15cp, 35cp, Ex, LD, and FR) as well as the Force weapon of Zack Fair from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII. Said banner will be the debut of Zack’s FR.

Zack is another one of the chars who I really like. Heck, I think I’d even go so far as to say that he’s one of my fave Final Fantasy VII chars. Have him fully built and complete in DFFOO with all of his weapons, armor, Artifacts, Boards, and Spheres.

So I definitely want to have his Force weapon too whenever it shows up in the game.

In short, the best thing to do would be to just wait for the banner with Zack’s FR and Aerith’s BT. I can pull on that banner and get the chance to acquire 3 new weapons (Aerith BT, Aerith FR, and Zack FR).

That’s what I should do but - it’s Aerith and her FR. I kinda want to have it now even if I’m not gonna use it until I get her Burst. At the very least, I can try my luck with tickets, right?

Besides, it’d be nice to get more dupes of Aerith’s Ex and Alphinaud’s Ex. Aerith’s Ex gives an A Sphere that increases its user’s MAG ATK by 15% while Alphinaud’s gives a C Sphere that raises the party’s ATK and INT BRV by 5%.

Currently have 424 tickets on hand.

The results of my pulls here were really bad. Got lots of 10-draws that didn’t give me even a single gold, which really sucks.

Also kept on getting the regular, blue orbs and these all contained nothing but dupes and more dupes. I’d even get 10-draws that only have 1 gold and that would turn out to be nothing more than a dupe 15cp or 35cp.

It was so frustrating. I was like where are the gold orbs? Where’s Aerith’s FR and even Alphinaud’s LD? Couldn’t even get dupes of their Ex weapons.

I was so glad when after what feels like forever, a gold orb finally showed up. IIRC, this one gave me my first copy of Alphinaud’s LD.

Yay! Super pleased to get something new even if I’m not gonna be using this weapon. Hopefully, I can get Aerith’s FR too. Anyway, this 10-draw also gave me a dupe of Alphinaud’s 15cp. Was down to 344 tickets when I got my first copy of Alphinaud’s LD.

Here’s a list of some of the other notable golds that I got from my ticket pulls on the A Bouquet of Thoughts and Feelings (Intersecting Wills) banner:

2/10, came from a gold orb - dupes of Alphinaud’s Ex and Kurasame’s 35cp

2/10, came from a gold orb - dupes of Kurasame’s LD and Aerith’s 35cp

3/10, came from a gold orb - dupes of Kurasame’s LD, Kurasame’s Ex, and Alphinaud’s 15cp

I really wish those dupes of Kurasame’s LDs had been Alphinaud’s instead so I could use them to limit break my first copy.

Also wish the Kurasame Ex dupe had been either Alphinaud’s or Aerith’s instead. Because the Sphere from Kurasame’s Ex is really bad. All it does is lower the speed of enemies which isn’t that necessary or important, certainly not when compared to Spheres that raise its user’s attack and/or brave damage dealt.

A bit later on, got another gold orb.

Was expecting to get the usual dupe LD or Ex so was beyond surprised when this gold actually gave me my very first copy of Aerith’s FR.

Hell, yes! Really didn’t expect to see this, especially not from a gold orb, but really happy that I was able to get Aerith’s FR and that it didn’t take all of my tickets for this to happen.

This 10-draw even gave me another dupe of Alphinaud’s Ex.

Was down to 294 tickets when Aerith’s FR came home.

Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy VII

While I’m really happy to get Aerith’s FR, really couldn’t justify spending all the resources needed to fully MLB said weapon.

Besides, I’m still gonna pull on her BT banner for her Burst and Zack’s FR. So I think it’s better to just wait for that banner before trying to MLB Aerith’s FR. Who knows? Maybe I can get dupes of her FR while pulling on said banner.

So for now, I just equipped Aerith with her FR. But I decided to go ahead and just Blue her High Armor already. After all, I knew I was definitely gonna do that once I get her Burst so I might as well do it now.

Got some Books and Ingots to spare since I’ve been so stingy when it comes to Bluing chars.

Haven’t bothered to complete Aerith’s Force Enhancements yet though. I’ll need like 15k Enhancement points to do that, which is way too expensive, especially considering I might not even be using her much at all.

Really can’t wait until she gets her Burst weapon. Will definitely be using her more then. For now, I’ll just have to see if I can bring her to an endgame battle or 2.

Update: a few days later, actually ended up spending the resources needed to get all of Aerith’s Force Enhancements.

It cost me a lot, and maybe this was a bad idea, but then I thought, if I was gonna get Aeris’s Force Enhancements eventually (as in when I get her BT in the future), then why not just get them now, right?

Thoughts about the A Bouquet of Thoughts and Feelings (Intersecting Wills) Story Event

Found the A Bouquet of Thoughts and Feelings (Intersecting Wills) story pretty interesting. It was nice to see Aerith interacting with couples like Squall Leonhart and Rinoa Heartilly from Final Fantasy VIII and Lunafreya Nox Fleuret and Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV.

It was also kinda surprising to see the chars holding flowers. Because more often than not, whenever the chars say they’re holding something or they hold out their hand to give something to another char, there’s nothing there.

I mean, the text or dialogue says they’re holding an item but there’s nothing in their hand. So it was a pleasant surprise to see the chars talking about flowers and actually having flowers in their hands.

A few Final Fantasy VII chars showed up in some of the scenes here, which is great, but I do wish that Zack Fair from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII was one of those chars.

He was mentioned like once or twice but he didn’t appear. Was disappointed that he didn’t get to interact with Aerith at all.

Overall, this story event wasn’t that bad but I feel like it could have been better. It felt like it ended too quickly, like the scenes weren’t long enough, and we didn’t get that much story.
