maya hawke isn't at all how i imagined wiress but after a long while of staring at pictures of her i can actually see it. if they give her a fuck ass bob and make her hair darker 🙏 i also feel like she'll be able to portray wiress well, she can definitely play a strange character. really hoping she portrays wiress's 1000-yard-stare energy and gentle sort of intelligence

ooooh what are your headcanons for Woof if you care to share?

i DO care to share!!! tysm for asking!! my headcanons for his story are actually pretty happy in comparison to every other character.

woof won the 19th games! his job in district 8 was moving cotton bales, so he had some muscle, and killed some tributes in the games by strangling them/snapping their necks. when he got home, he started sleepwalking and once tried to strangle his younger brother while sleepwalking (inspired by a fic from we must be killers!). he freaked tf out, insisted on sleeping in a locked room, and tried to break up with his girlfriend and cut off his family for their own safety.

they all adamantly refused this, and he was eventually able to regain some trust in himself and heal from his trauma. he married his girlfriend poplin and took on her last name, mccrae :) they wanted kids but poplin had fertility issues, so they never had any. consequently woof has a fatherly sort of relationship with cecelia and the other victors from district 8.

new dnd campaign! i don't have the plot worked out yet, but the pcs are great. we have parsnip ningel (a teenage stoner paladin gnome with catholic guilt and religious hallucinations), her boyfriend rael amastacia (a teenage stoner twink circus runaway, former assassin, and current bard who only killed people so he could save up for an oboe), and their plug mermin longfingers (traumatized yet 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 dwarf dilf who uses his druid abilities to grow magical weed). they're in a band btw and it's called the dreaming caterpillars.
