Week 2 - Pen & ink practice

Working with a brush pen and a felt tip pen for gestural work. Turns out I really enjoy gesturing in environments - maybe because it’s harder to tell if I’ve missed any details...

From working with the brush pen, I realized that adding in shadows give the simple gestures so much more form. It’s also super easy to do!

First off, hi! My name is Ryen! I’m bisexual and a generally a pretty cool dude. I use he/him pronouns I guess for those who didn’t decipher that.

I made this blog for positivity stuff! And because of that I will not be posting anything/much about my mental health. There will be a few posts probably about mental health in terms of self care and general positivity, but that’s about it.

I have a few other blogs, @whoaitsanerd is my side blog for literally everything from fandom stuff to nature to political junk and occasionally?? Discourse?? But not a lot. @cafedoodles is my main blog, specifically for my art and appreciating others art! I don’t use it as much though.

Now on to the nitty gritty stuff, the laws of these lands.

A TERF, transphobic in general, homophobic, biphobic (big duh), aphobic, racist, etc.

Please do not try to engage me in DISCOURSE. Frankly, it’s upsetting, and that’s not the aim of this blog.
