Para una losa postensada, el concreto es vertido con los torones de presfuerzo embebidos y es hasta depues de que el concreto adquire la resistencia adecuada que los torones serán tensados usando un gato hidráulico el cual hará que los cables actuen reaccionando en contra del elemento de concreto al que se esta sometiendo la tensión.
