They say a couple that learns together, stays together. I hope that's really the case for these two because they go so well together. Calissa has been giving Don lil one on one tips in painting. I also see that they have the same thing in common. They are both studying how to better know babies. Calissa has yet to meet Don's son but she will be ready once she's able to meet him.

Don also lost a bit of enthusiasm but he will gain it back with no problem.

I haven't been diligent in posting the works in this series to Tumblr, but I do want to make a post now that it's complete. This series is about Calissa, an aasimar inquisitor of Iomedae with a rigid faith and an uncompromising view of forgiveness, and her journeys with Tristian. It's not so much of a canon re-telling; rather, I try to weave extra context around what happens in canon. Both Calissa and Tristian struggle with their faiths in their own ways, and oftentimes when one of them is at their lowest, the other sees the good in them and helps bring them back from despair.

Each work can be read standalone as well.

I think this is some of the best writing I've done so far, and I'm excited to share it ❤️

all day i have been thinking about how much i want to lift out the summers family stuff from my barbieverse bc we all know that's where my heart & soul is/was but it's all sooo inextricably tied to barbie stuff specifically it's hard to thi k of how i would do it. but i looooove the idea of mermaid and fairy half sisters so that might be the part i run with bc tbh i never got to do very much with it bc elina is a weenie who doesn't spend much time on earth and merliah isn't touching fairytopia with a 10 ft pole. but i love them both and obviously i love rip so yeah. this might be where it starts we might get somewhere now ppl

Heading back into Don's world, everything is going great! He learned to slow down and really take in life for what it is. He's been skilling and learning more about how to control his anger cause you know; everything ain't always peaches and cream. Although...he really enjoys the fruits of his labor. But what shocked me was seeing that he wants to get married! I was blown away! That is a good look for the ole Don dotta. Calissa has been skilling right along with Don and getting ahead in her career as well. Even though old faces and flings might pop up here and there for Don but he pays them no mind, and keep moving on with his life.

Calissa's childhood was spent in a cult that masqueraded as a church of Iomedae. When she came of age, she sought to escape the harsh conditions and mistreatment - but to get permission to leave was nearly impossible. The only way would be to go on a mission of faith that their leader could not deny her.

She had begun to make plans to set out for the crusades at the Worldwound when, by chance, word reached her of the lawless Stolen Lands.

She was granted permission to conquer the Stolen Lands in the name of the Lady of Valor, and to spread the faith throughout her new barony. But in her journeys, she discovered the truth of her upbringing; unlearned the harmful lessons that had been drilled into her since her childhood; and found her way to a faith pure and uncorrupted, surrounded by friends for the first time in her life.
