whoa uhhh, what happened with the callyieverse wiki? forgive me if I sound dumb cause I just logged in but was someone like, hacking it to post some crazy stuff or something??

No babe, people think they can do whatever they want with other people’s characters and disrespect their wishes even though that said person is the whole reason why they even have characters to redesign in the first place and it’s pissing me the hell off so my logic is:

You can’t soil callyieverse any further if there is no callyieverse

Been thinking about asking this here, but would anyone want to see me do more with the characters I made for @princesscallyie’s Callyieverse?

There’s Kendra(daughter of Berserk and Mike) and El(daughter of Sam Manson), who were contest entries. I was thinking about redesigning them soon, honestly, though not sure who here would want to see them redesigned?

That, or there’s my fire nymph characters. Calida has technically been drawn/picked by Callyie already who has made suggestions for her. I also got Tyson and Seraphina. For these guys, I was thinking about drawing them out or writing something based on their backstories, which I do want to expand more on.

If any of you guys have any preferences of what you’d like to see me work on from these, feel free to let me know. ^^

Here’s another set of messy “I redesigned you but I’m not gonna do a finalized pic”, with Aurora and Misty! And some bullet points, feel free to scroll if it’s too long lol:

Wanted to give both richer colors, so I upped the saturation. For Aurora I based her color scheme off this pic…

Until I realized she’s named after Aurora Borealis. So I made an alt using those colors! I like both, but I prefer the first cause purple

Gave Aurora a bigger body type for body diversity, also to match her hips

They both get more period accurate clothing to fit the Greek aesthetic more. If I finalized Misty, I’d mix the first two (keep the second’s bottom half, and alternate between both tops)

Misty gets shorter hair…just cause. I think it fits her “wild child” type of character

Also Misty would be topless 24/7 if given the chance

She isn’t a big interest to do a formal redesign post, but uhhhh here’s Calypso!

I wanted to show she’s a jellyfish more; I feel like it was a missed opportunity design wise! So her “hair” are the curly parts (fused to her body), and I gave her the jellyfish veil. Added a glow effect because they have that and it looks cool. Made her pink cause it fits Calypso “Elegant Noble Lady” vibe.

I also changed her wardrobe! I’ve always found Calypso’s two friends outfits way more interesting. Now she’s matching with a Chinese Hanfu, along with Traditional Chinese outfits.

Redesigned Delphine where she’s pinker! And has more ballerina based outfits. That’s it. The only changes.

And she’s a semi murderous gal with a classist streak but who covers it up it’s not that important anyway have more outfits, and a non bloodied version

Wow I love the Manic Pixie Dream Girl with her Ye Ye Cowboy. Persephone and Levi, two characters with aesthetics I really loved! Looking up inspiration (especially for Seph) was fun, and hopefully I’ll draw them again. There’ll be a separate post for extra art. In the meantime:

Let’s start with Persephone! I know her thing is “quirky oddball kid becomes attractive teen”, but her quirky look showed her personality more I also liked it better. Her everyday outfit is fairly similar to her kid one: a jumper —> short overalls, funky shoes, and tons of daisies. I kept her braces (she’d lose her Invisalign in my headcanon), but stuck with the contacts. I used Amina Mucciolo’s style for outfit ideas:

And searched Claire’s accessories that worked best (my art friends titled her “Claire’s Persephone”, which I love lol).

Her formal wear comes from 80’s prom dresses: big, flashy, and excessive. Which fits her best! 

Next is Levi, who has less to explain. Because he’s half Mexican I wanted to give him tanner skin, and curly brown hair (the front styled similarly to Clay’s). Still has Clay’s blue eyes, freckles, and cowboy theme. I liked the green flannel, so I added a yellow jacket to match. And I titled the belt buckle! A little much but it’s the cowboy way. Really wanted push the theme. I could’ve done more for their last outfits, but they still look fun to me.

Starting off, I redesigned Rosetta and Typhon! For her, all I added was a lab coat, glasses, and a bun. I know it’s “stereotypical scientist”, but she looks nice to me! Gave her a tank, jeans, and boots cause Rosetta moves a good amount. Gotta stay functional. She wears her one of mother’s stones around her neck. For protection and all. Also, definitely her mom’s lab coat.

I didn’t do a lot for Typhon; just gave him more dad vibes. Also saw in Greek mythos, he’s usually depicted with snakes for arms/legs. Which I thought was cool! He can switch between those and legs. I’d like to think Typhon’s tried out a few different forms, before settling.

And there’s Astro’s monster form. Nothing to explain really! So here’s another pic of him:

Lastly, redesigned Jamillah!

She has darker skin because why not? Gave her outfits that reflect her religion. She’s Muslim, so only clothes that cover her whole body. It was fun looking up fashion for her! Maybe I’ll draw more of her later.

I’ve always liked Kandi; she’s such a cute character to me. So here’s a redesign! Had another one planned, but I wanted to do her’s now. Brief explanation down below~

I actually started Kandi’s through a picrew! Which you can find here. It was super fun to do, and I’ll definitely do it for others. It’s where I got her hairstyle and outfit (the top part) from:

I gave her Leshawna’s face and eye shape, while keeping Tucker’s eye color. She has glasses so it’s similar to Tucker. Also cause they look nice! Her skin tone is more saturated and closer to her parents (Gotta keep that melanin!). Fun fact: Kandi’s hair color reflects the anime character she currently likes.

Since she cosplays, I wanted to show them off. They’re hopefully easy to recognize! Really liked how they came out; especially with the curly texture I gave two of them. Had to give Kandi one preppy outfit. I imagine she’d slowly transition to a preppy style, and occasionally goes back to nerdy.

Extras: Persephone and Levi

For fun, I doodled a few outfits for Persephone! Initially to test out her cowboy look...then it went outta hand. The glasses look came from the same Picrew as Kandi’s:

The overall outfits were options for her everyday look. The colors are more saturated, vs my first attempt. Which I ended up using. The last outfit is my take on Persephone’s canon look! I used an old top I liked as a ref, but kept the rest. I did add blue accessories for fun.

Came up with three ideas for her formal wear. I wanted to go with the 1st, but in the end I liked the 2nd. And some swimwear ideas!

I had to do some sketches for Levi…because it’s less biased. They’re sloppy, but I like them! I should draw him more later lol

Sooo here’s a thing I’ve been doing! I’ve been redesigning Callyieverse characters for fun (and when I have time). Nia isn’t my first one, but she’s the first for this tik tok idea. @shorty-tori suggested I’d present it in a fancy way, and I loved it! I’ll do it for each redesign I post. Below is an in-depth explanation and rough sketches, if you’re into that. If not, here’s the final pic!

Explaining: my favorite part~

In a discord I’m in, someone mentioned Nia looked too much like Star. And while she’s Nia's mother, there still should be differences. So I designed Nia to resemble her father more. She also has two forms: Before and After Mewberty. Before Nia looks the same, but has her father’s pink hair. She already has that in canon, but emphasizing it makes her stand out more (From Star). Nia’s hair is longer and I changed the color of her cheek marks from hot pink to gold. I wanted to use less pink and more blue/gold; colors her father’s side use.

I changed her Mewberty form to fit the color scheme: Blue skin, light blue hair, gold eyes and wings. However, unlike more Mewberty forms, Nia’s blue skin and pointy ears stay afterwards. It could represent her maturing mentally, becoming closer to her father, or something else. The pink hair also stays. She looks completely different, but still has her mother’s attitude.

Which brings me to her outfits. In Svtfoe, Star always wore a quirky outfit. I loved that aspect! So I gave it to Nia. She mainly wears shorts, dresses with tights, but no skirts. Nia, to me, loved to move around and be free. Mobility is #1 in her book! It’s why her princess dress is short.

So that’s my analysis! I’ll have the next redesign out...eventually? I have a few stockpiled, just need to tidy them up and write my thought process. To end off, here’s some bad first attempts!

I know this isn’t important to some of y’all, but for the next redesigns I’ll stray from blue/green eyes (with Characters of Color)
