What would your dream arcs be for each character going blindly into Stargirl S3?

EVERY character? Uhhhhhhhhh okay give me a second (this will happen instantly for you but trust me this is taking me a Minute.) (Okay this is very messy and doesn’t go super in-depth with my ideas because I don’t want to write an essay for each character in one ask. Also, I wrote this while watching the Harley Quinn show with my friend so if this is a bit hard to follow, that’s why.)

Courtney- Under the tutelage of Sylvester, she’s manipulated into doing…something…that pits her against the JSA. The combination of her already butting heads with them plus the whole Camney situation makes things worse. She eventually is forced to work with them again to help out with the Helix Institute (or maybe she’ll be on the side of the Helix Institute?) She’ll snap out of it eventually, and have to fight Sylvester for control of the Staff.

Yolanda- After absolutely feuding with Cindy for months, she’s finally relieved of her duties when Cindy is forcibly removed from the group. Honestly Yolanda’s storyline is the hardest for me to pin down this season, so I don’t know much more than that.

Beth- After helping Rick rebuild the Hourglass, Beth continues to seek council from Rick while trying to escape her increasingly prying parents. She also spends a few weekends with McNider, who helps her out with the whole JSA schism problem while struggling with raising this new child, who he’s been absent for most of his life. Obviously something actually happens between her and Rick this season, but I don’t think we’ll get explicitly canon Hournite until the end of the season (I wish it’s closer to the midseason, though).

Rick- The Hourglass is fixed to be better than ever, but Rick begins abusing its power. While he spends more time with Beth (somehow, they’re already always together), he tries to withhold this truth from her, but the secret’s out when he begins to go on nightly solo missions picking fights with basically anyone even remotely on the JSA’s hit list. He also learns some awful truths about his father and Miraclo (which I’ll elaborate on later. Probably.)

Cindy- I feel like we’re all pretty sure that Cindy’s gonna be the person who gets framed in the murder mystery, so that’ll happen. The JSA will push her out temporarily, but she’ll presumably have to band back together with them for the big Mister Bones or Helix Institute altercation(s). Like Yolanda, I don’t have a lot of ideas about what else is really gonna happen with her this season, unless Dragon King somehow comes back?

Pat- Since Starman doesn’t have any interest in him, Pat mostly is hanging out with Crusher, which actually ends up INFURIATING Starman. He continues to help out Mike and Jakeem and acts more as their mentor than the new JSA (although let’s be real he wasn’t really the JSA mentor last season, either).

Barbara- Like Pat, Barbara hangs out a LOT with the Crocks, especially Paula. Since the Gambler’s back in town (potentially briefly), Barb acts as the JSA’s eyes on the inside. I would imagine she’ll at least loosely be involved with the Shade as well.

Mike- Mike works on building his own STRIPE suit but gets sidetracked when his birth mom comes back to town. He also gets in a mini-spat with Jakeem at some point but they make up basically in the next episode.

Jakeem- Jakeem actually is the JSA’s new MVP, utilizing the Thunderbolt incredibly well. However, due to how fractured the JSA is already, he and Mike stay OUT of the group’s business for the most part. They fight their own secondary villain or uncover some big conspiracy together, idk. They reunite with the main JSA towards the end of the season.

Starman- Fake Starman is 100% a clone with Starman’s memories sent in by Mister Bones to get easy access to the JSA and their super-powered Frenemies. He’s probably killed at some point because seriously, who’s actually watching this show for Starman? (Sorry Joel McHale.) He DOES get in plenty of fights with Pat along the way, though, and shakes up the status quo (like in that grocery store fight).

Cameron- Cameron will very quickly show his powers off to Courtney, as we see in the trailer, but Courtney won’t show him hers in return. He’ll eventually obviously find out about…well, everything, and the relationship is going to go to Hell in a hand basket. There will be some ice people/frost giant lore reveals and he’ll probably get thrown into the whole Mister Bones mess somehow?? Honestly beyond the basics that everyone and their mother is guessing I don’t know what would happen with Cameron because we know so little about him, but I’m begging for more Icepick (I’m trademarking that as the name for him and Cindy) and Icehour drama.

Shade- Something something Solomon Grundy resurrecting, something something fight with Starman. He’ll somehow be involved in the Cosmic Staff lore/backstory. There’s apparently some Future arc that he’s involved in, but I have zero theories about that as of right now.

Jennie- Jennie won’t pop in until the midseason, where she will report that she’s found Todd and needs some backup. Jennie, along with whoever is in the JSA at the time, have to fight Todd and whoever else Mister Bones has kidnapped/scrapped together. Tbh Jennie will probably leave after this because Jennie always does that 💀

If I didn’t mention your fave I’m sorry, I have no idea what their long-term story arcs are going to be (this pains me as the Crocks are my favorite characters and I really don’t have anything to say about them).

Cameron Battle and the Hidden Kingdoms is a book based on West African and Igbo history and mythology and sounds really interesting. I don't know that I've read many books based on cultural history except maybe a few with Chinese history. As for mythology, I've read quite a bit of Greek myths/retellings and a little bit of Celtic myth retellings and inspired works. I'd like to branch out more.

Synopsis below.
