How often does the Vet and the mimics interact? Does he sometimes watch the little baby mimics in case the human or even the mimics themselves need a rest?

Also what would Vet's and all the other ocs reactions would be if the human was mute?

Yes! He plays a grandpa role to the little ones and will look out for them when all the mimics, including the human, are occupied. He'll read them stories, show them picture books, and will even show them how to do some arts and crafts if he has a moment. He spends some time with the mimics, but not enough to fully involve them in his daily routine. He works in the field, or outside, most of the time and his downtime is usually occupied by paper/office related work. He also looks out for the human when their "harem" starts getting too overwhelming. He'll let them hide in his office for a nap or rest while the others either look for them or go about their business elsewhere. And as for how the crew would react to the human being mute, it would be a little surprising to them all, but it would streamline everything else. Since they were found by the camfolk, whom of which don't talk anyway. So they would probably know sign language before the world goes to shit, which makes their integration into the base far more easier. Most units, and mimics, understand sign language. So the human would fit right in and communication would continue on as normal.
