i need more books with romance plots to have the love interest be literally anything other than the most conventionally attractive person on the planet and im not even kidding. i will die badly if these needs are not met

#i KNOWWWW that doing that is like really easy shorthand to let readers know who the li is and to make readers like them #BUT !!!!!!!! if you're good enough at writing you can make a convincing romance with anyone. anyone at all #men do not need to be tall chiseled muscle gods. women dont have to be big boob'd goddesses #im begging on my hands and knees crying and throwing up #can we have a love interest whos like just some guy or maybe a lil ugly but the main character really likes them for other reasons #and so thru the process of being into them they find them attractive As They Are ???#huh? what happened to romantic chemistry?#love interest whos way too into lego sets and has funky teeth and has a shit haircut and w/e but the main character thinks theyre hot shit #can authors put in any amt of effort to endear us as readers to love interests that isnt making them a total babe or a total hunk #can i be endeared to an ugly weirdo please #whenever i write romances i always need the weirder less conventional one to be the love interest i cant write it otherwise #or else ill vomit my liver and kidneys out #anyway whatever #writeblr #bookblr
