Originally from Brighton, UK, the rumor is that she was born giggling. Apparently that giggle broke the cloudy sky, and the sun finally came through. Noa never bought it. She felt that it was a way their parents dug their nails into Noa to keep 'em around.

The young baby only knew flashing lights. It was their paycheck that fueled their parents' life. At first, it was innocent. Just a way to get some extra cash in order to fix the refrigerator when it broke. But, that quickly turned to greed and the young Noa grew up to distance them self from their parents. When Noa turned 18, they were finally free to drop their parents from their team. Now, Noa was able to genuinely explore their artistry away from the pushing and 'yes men' of their parents.

It was a random call at almost 10 pm on a Friday, that Noa was gracious to pick up the phone. It was a role curated for them and finally, something was stickingwhen it came to changing their image. Savannah was born in Manhattan, NY. Her mother is casting director Tania Marone, a member of the famed Marone acting family. Her father is famed director and screenwriter Clayton Hastings, better known as C.B. Hastings, of the famous Hastings family - son of filmmaker Malachi Hastings.

Aside from being a member of Hollywood dynasties, her paternal family has long ties to Cape May, dating back to the early 1900's. They still have roots in the area, residing in The Cove.

Her parents split up when she was very young and since they were never married, Sav never had to endure any type of drama.

Her relationship with her mother is poor due to unrealistic standards that her mother has held her to. She'll make appearances for public's sake and to avoid the scandal but really doesn't care for her own mother.

She and her father have a close relationship - they make time for each other and she makes a point to join him on sets or take on a role if he asks because he keeps her safe on set, looks out for her and never pressures her, which is the exact opposite behaviour from her mother's actions.

Her family's ties in Cape May have led to opportunities outside of it. Her modelling gigs were prompted by her father's close relationship with the du Pont-Moreau family, specifically Declan. His wife, Nadine, chose to give her an opportunity, noting how beautiful she was - something Savannah has always heard. However, the difference was Nadine didn't tell her she was only beautiful but that her beauty was power but she was far more than that. She dropped her mother's name from her professional credits when she was about 9 and explained it away as her just having a long name but she would still be using it in her personal life (her driver's license is ridiculous).

She spent as much time as possible in Cape May when she wasn't travelling around the world or filming in either NY or LA. She liked how normal she felt and the way she didn't have to live up to a legacy - not in the same way at least. The Hastings of the industry were somehow different from the Hastings of Cape May. They were actual residents of the town, talked to their neighbours, went to the farmer's market, were ingrained in the community.

She was also able to get all her writing done in Cape May. No need to keep up an appearance or film, just needed to exist. However, she knew if she had released anything under her own name, it wouldn't end well. She would've opened herself up to a different level of criticism or even praise because of her name. She wanted something that wasn't just given to her because of her name or who she knew.

She hates that she keeps this part of herself from her father - he's ironically her best friend and her biggest supporter. It's the only part of keeping a secret identity that she hates.

Savannah is struggling with her 'Hannah Montana' dilemma. Balancing out Savannah Hastings, the 'celebrity' and Savannah Hastings, the girl from Cape May, is already a challenge but adding in her alter ego and it's just a matter of time before something comes out. She's just trying to limit the damage.

stranger from a trip: On one of her trips overseas, she met a stranger who didn't seem to recognize her. They showed Savannah around and shared a few moments, including one that involved dancing in the streets while it was raining. It was one of the most freeing experiences Savannah has ever had. Ricardo was born in Jalisco, Mexico to a very well-connected family. He lived in Jalisco, Mexico for about four years after his birth and his sister joined the family a year after his birth. However not too long after the arrival of his baby sister, his mother passed due to a terrible car accident on her way home from work. Ricardo's father was never the same since, but for a little bit he tried to raise his kids. Unfortunately, after two years, it was proving incredibly difficult for his father to raise his kids while also diving into his ever-blossoming career in politics. There was some family in the states that his father reached out, after a couple of phone calls, he eventually found someone who could take his kids in and also properly care for them.

It was at the age of four that Ricardo, along with his baby sister, was sent to live with an aunt and uncle in the very reserved neighborhood of Frog Hollow in Cape May. Papers were sorted and the two of them were adopted by the aunt and uncle, and so began Ricardo's life in Cape May. It took a couple of years for Ricardo to get over the fact this father never reached out to them, not even for birthdays or Christmas, but once he did an anger settled in the void.

Growing up, Ricardo tried to be the best brother he could be to his sister. They were always close and that never changed even with age. It was easy for him to make friends in school because he's the kind of person who was comfortable with just striking up a conversation with pretty much anyone, and he was also involved in a lot of sports activates. Soccer having his heart. He was so skilled in the game of soccer that he considered that to be his career when he graduated high school. And for a little while, it was. He went to college, played soccer for the school, graduated with a degree in marketing.

When he turned thirty, his father had finally reached out. While they were busy living their lives in Cape May, his father had been busy pushing his career in Mexico. He was now the President of Mexico, which now made him and sister the children of the President of Mexico. However, it wasn't a life Ricardo wanted for himself. Despite his father's efforts, he didn't budge about moving back to his homeland to fill the shoes he'd leave behind. Biography:

Edward was born the youngest of four boys right in the heart of Chicago, IL. Even though he was the youngest, he always felt like he had to be the responsible one. His eldest brother was always getting into trouble with the law, his other brother was almost never home, always partying the nights away, and his youngest brother, who was closest to Eddy in age by a year or two, left to join the army as soon as he was old enough to do so.

So that left little Edward, at home to hold everything together. He helped cook, clean and the moment he could he got a job at a bar nearby to help support his parents, since none of his older brothers could be bothered to. Eddy always did well in school and not just because he was smart, but because he felt he had no other choice. He got good grades, graduated, worked hard to get into a good college and eventually ended up applying for law school.

His reasoning behind law school always changed depending on who asked. He'd often say he did it because he wanted to become a lawyer and help people who needed it or he'd say his mild obsession with crime shows growing up made him want to, but in all honesty, he just knew it was a good career choice and he wanted to make his family proud.

A year in though, things took a turn. The pressure of school and dealing with all of his family's problems back home got a little much for Eddy and he had a little bit of a breakdown. He dropped out of school, went on a massive alcohol and drug fuelled bender, decided to stop being the family golden boy and moved the hell out of Illinois.

Eddy hopped on the first bus out of town and ended up at Cape May. Eventually stumbling upon a run down old club at the edge of town. It was nearing closure and hadn't seen much business in a long while, but Edward could see the potential in it. So he took out a fairly large loan and bought it off the current owners, renaming it 'Eddy's.

He struggled for a while but Eddy's soon became one of the hottest night clubs in town. A popular spot for Cape May residents wanting a cheap night on the town with good music and a sweet escape from the tourist packed hot spots closer to the beach.

There are times when Edward wonders if it was all worth it. Thinking he should have at least finished law school, just to have something to fall back on. But he's the happiest and most care free he's ever been here at Cape May, even if his sometimes moody face and grumpy demeanour makes people think otherwise.

Background: 

Aj was born into a very wealthy (which is still an understatement) family. His father Declan du Pont is one of the heirs to the du Pont dynasty and the current CEO of Tournay du Pont co. His mother is Cadieux CEO and famed fashion designer, Nadine du Pont-Moreau. He was born in Monaco during one of his parents' many trips there and partially raised in his father's hometown of Long Island, New York for the better part of his life when he wasn't off jet-setting to different parts of the world for any number of reasons.

He definitely grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth but has spent a great deal of time learning that he has privilege and he should listen before commenting on things he doesn’t understand.

AJ's rebellious streak growing up was not for the faint of heart. He spent a great deal of time flirting with and even sleeping with the wives (WANTED CONNECTION) of other rich men in their social circle, going to parties he had no business being at, doing drugs he shouldn't have been doing and streaking through Vegas (there's a tabloid story somewhere) all before he was even 21.

This rebellious 'phase' resulted in a short stint in rehab that his parents practically forced on him. He also had what he called an adult baby sitter assigned to him - even though it didn't stop him from going back to the same scene. A few more trips and he got the hint to get his shit together. While he's not fully sober, he's California Sober. He attends meetings if he feels he needs it and overall, hears his own body out.

AJ didn't take the traditional ivy league school option when he finished high school. He instead opted to go and see more of the world. He had all the money he needed at his disposal and what more could he learn in a classroom than in the actual world. He had travelled to parts of Africa, Asia, and South America in an effort to learn about different cultures and customs and then jetted off to North America, Australia and parts of Europe before finally settling back in France.

While he should've been cleaning up his act, the travelling, primarily the latter continents involved more partying and scandalous headlines that his parents didn't like - including a photo of their son passed out at the foot of the Cristo Redentor (Chris the Redeemer) Statue.

While it made Aj and his buddies laugh, his parents felt differently and told him he had responsibilities and he couldn't take over Tournay du Pont co & Cadieux if he was going to be reckless. They'd always told him it would inevitably be his to lead. He chose to enrol into a university and get his business degree like the good little rich boy they expected him to be - not without his fair share of frat parties of course.

The thing with AJ is he doesn't want to live up to the family name and live this boring stuffy life that keeps him so busy he can't live it. The double edged sword is that he's very good at it. He has a keen eye for both the fashion industry and the tech industry. He enjoys the work but he wonders if it's all he's worth. No one takes him seriously enough to do the job but they all expect him to do it regardless.

Aj is very charming - whether that's something the money and confidence provides or just his natural essence, it is undeniable and can be quite frustrating at times.

He can be quick to anger when dealing with incompetence or certain levels of frustration but it's been a long while since someone has made him angry to a point that he expresses it.

He can be quite the nerd when in his natural element and thanks to the vast amounts of money afforded to him, he owns an expansive comic book collection.

He is very business savy and it shows from the types of investments he makes and the care he puts into those investments. There may be on reckless investment in the form of a race track at his home in Monaco.

B A C K G R O U N D 

Blake was born and raised in Newark, NJ. His parents were Timothy and Lisa Carter. They owned a small bagel shop called, “I Bagel To Differ” that was known among locals as the place you had to stop by. He grew up an only child and always wanted to be a big brother but had tons of cousins he played that role with. 

Around the age of 10, Blake started noticing his parents were growing more distant. His father was always gone and his mother was drinking herself away on the couch. The spark that was once there between the two parents faded. Eventually, Timothy never came home and he never contacted Lisa or even Blake, ever again.

Blake and his mom couldn’t afford their own housing so they moved in with his Aunt and many cousins. He finally achieved the “Big Brother” role, taking up responsibilities to help around the house; making breakfast and dinner, taking the kids to school, helping them with after school activities and homework. It didn’t take long for Blake to adjust to the new setting, he actually liked the change. He didn’t feel as lonely anymore, picked up new hobbies and a love for piano and theater. 

Blake found that being in theater helped block out any negative thoughts or feelings about his life. He had a distraction and something to keep him occupied. Biography:

Edward was born into a wealthy family. His father was the owner of one of the biggest publishing empires in America, a role that had been handed down in the Fitzgerald family for generations.

His family was rich but Edward had always had a very different relationship with money than them. He never made any insanely large purchases, and never told people about his wealth.

Edward always had a very strained relationship with the other members of his immediate family, especially his father. His dad was extremely boastful about his wealth and careless with money. Something that never sat right with Eddy.

Edward always had a much closer bond with his Grandfather, who seemed to have a similar mindset to Eddy, and often told him about how much he regretted spoiling Edward's father as a child.

His grandfather had gotten sick so Eddy decided to go and take care of him, considering all that man had done for him. Him and Chayce tried to make it work long distance, but eventually Edward decided it was best to break things off.

It wasn't an easy decision for Edward and it did take it's toll, but he knew deep down it was the right choice to make.

After almost four years of caring for his grandfather he unfortunately passed away. Leaving almost his entire fortune exclusively to Edward.

Edward's family was not happy about this at all, especially his father but it was what Eddy's grandfather wanted and there was no way he'd disrespect his grandfather's wishes.

Eddy was practically shunned by his father not long after all of this, and though he had never had much of a relationship or a liking for the man, it did hurt a little how quickly his siblings and even his mother followed suit.

He decided to not dwell on it for too long though and sailed his grandfathers boat around the east coast until he ended up in Cape May.

He now gives guided boat tours to tourists based on a few quick facts he got from google, but it's really Eddy's charm and charisma that keep customers coming back for more.

Other Stuff/Random Shit:

Edward lives in an apartment in Downtown that he shares with Leon Amos. He could easily afford one of the pricier houses in Cape May but likes to keep his living arrangements more simple and modest, and he loves having a room mate.

He hasn't spoken to any of his family members since his grandfathers funeral, but often debates reaching out to his siblings though he's unsure he'd even get a response.

He's extremely generous and giving, especially when he's drunk and has been known to pay an entire bar's tab when he's in a good enough mood.

His music tastes is very 60's & 70's orientated. He loves anything Billy Joel, Presley or Fleetwood Mac related and is known for blasting music off of his boat late at night.

He doesn't just use his boat for tours, he sometimes rents it out to locals who just want a trip around the Cape and anybody who wants to party and doesn't mind paying the damage.

He isn't the greatest driver and has crashed the boat several times in the last couple of months, but will never let anybody else drive it, ever, no matter what.

CHARACTER HISTORY

Skyler was born and raised in the Upper East Side of New York with both her parents and sister. Her Mom, a well known face around the world for retiring from the modeling world to style them, met a man traveling the globe as a musician. Liam was nowhere near as successful as his wife, but somehow two opposites managed to maintain a marriage and start a very creative family. The Cameron girls grew up surrounded by music and lavish parties, it wasn’t long until Skyler realized how much she loved to sing. Her sister and father would play instruments and she’d dance around the living room and sing for them, loving that this seemed to turn into a weekly tradition. She fell in love with being in the spotlight, though she quickly stuck to only singing in the shower once she saw how talented her sister was with music as a way to give each of them something to allow them to shine differently but together. As a young girl Skyler would sneak into her mother’s closet when they had a gala or late night function the girl’s weren’t old enough to attend and spend hours staring at the shoes, perfecting the art of walking in heels by the age of 5.The sneaking continued as she’d venture into her mom’s workshop and “borrow” designs off her rack for parties, being sure to put the items back before morning.Skyler was always drawn to fashion, wearing it, creating it…you name it. She was happy to pick up another passion that’d look good on her college applications alongside acting, getting the chance to design costumes for her onstage performances didn’t hurt either. When she was finally able to go to all the events she’d study what everyone was wearing, learning what was popular and using it to start designing her own clothes in secret, not wanting her mother’s influence to smother her.She never thought she was any good, so for a while she stuck to drawing anything she could: fruit, people, nature. anything that didn’t involve clothes, but she always found herself coming back. It wasn’t until she met (wanted muse connection) that he truly got her to start honing her craft and focusing on what mattered to her most.As Skyler entered university at Cornell, she saw herself debating between her desires, seeing as fashion would lead her directly under her mother’s shadow and that’s something she’s still striving to steer far away from. The spark for acting came back bigger and stronger than ever, resulting in the blonde signing up for every production Cornell had to offer. Junior year she was offered an opportunity to study abroad in Paris, quickly jumping on that before finding herself romantically connected to a big designer. He went behind her back and stole her designs for himself, publishing them without her consent and leaving the credit she rightfully deserved unmarked. Skyler was devastated, not knowing how to handle the betrayal of someone she put all her trust and ideas in. She used this as her plea to fly back to New York to continue her degree.She was offered an intern position with a local designer in Cape May shortly after she graduated and she’s been here ever since, doing her best to look toward her future rather than the past.
