My study set ups are always really simple because I’m trying to go paperless for most of my classes. I’ll try and post some old notes if I can find any. Anyways here is a pic of today’s set up! I have one more class today and after that my whole day just consists of studying and writing research papers.

08.05 - 1/100 days of creativity

long time no see! uni is over for the year and i’ve been feeling a bit stressed and restless about all this free time. so i’ve decided to challenge myself for 100 days o creativity during the summer. today i dug up my sketchbook to draw something, i think it’s been a year since i did that. (first pic is from my morning planning my day after some crystal-powered yoga.)

honestly though i’m really bad at sticking to these ‘do xyz every day’ challenges/routines, so wish me luck!

New in Town

Hey, folks! Just the other day, I decided to create my own studyblr in the hopes of becoming more organized and less engaged in procrastination. My blog is nothing special yet, but it’ll get there. 

So, here’s a lil’ about me: 

My name is Lauren, but I go by Lu or Lo most of the time 

I just turned seventeen, and I don’t have my license [nor do I plan on getting it anytime soon] 

I will be a senior in high school this coming September, and I’m really excited for the classes I’ll be taking 

Scientific Research 

AP Psychology 

AP Human Geography 

Honors Calculus 

Honors Latin IV

Honors English IV 

Creative Writing / Public Speaking 

My favorite class is Latin so far, and to be honest, I don’t think that’s going to change

Out of the colleges I’ve looked at so far, I want to study at the University of New Haven 

I would like to major in psychology [with a concentration in forensic psychology] and national security studies 

I would also like to minor in Arabic studies and Sociology 

My dream job is to work as a behavioral analyst [also known as a profiler] with the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit, which serves under the Critical Incident Response Group 

My backup [dream] jobs are a forensic anthropologist or Latin teacher [I know, wildly different, but I love it] 

I love reading

Dec. 6, 2019 - I feel useless and as if being productive is the last thing I can do. But I won’t let it stop me! I’ll find a way to be productive and helpful! I don't know when to give up!!!!!

 ✨November Study Challenge [day 6 and 7] ✨  by @endymionstudies 

6- Favorite stationery: Nothing beats a black 0.4mm pen for me. But, as a history trash, I also love to write with my feather quill or any vintage pen. It took me some time, but I can say I’m very good working with those materials now!  

7- Studyblr and high-end materials: I learned it in college - You can do anything with any material. You might need to work harder, but there is no way you need fancy stuff to learn/ create/ study or to make nice BuJo spreads.
