when i got this request, i was so intrigued. mainly because i was bein' linked a post to take a look at, rather than the typical request. so i went in and read the post. i analyzed it. and i got to work.

the first thing i did was take a trip to my ol' buddy google and see if they had anythin'. i tried searchin' for several different variations of keywords, tryin' anything i could to find the original post. but there was nothin'. not a single thing. everything was linkin' back to this original post. no screenshots appeared. nothin' on reddit besides a screenshot of this post. nothin' in the tumblr search itself, not a single lead to go off of.

tragically, i can't find a single thing on Jacques, and he seems to have vanished into the bustling crowds of this bleak city. i've been gettin' so many requests about this one i simply had to to everything in my power to find him, but alas, he seems to be gone.

strangely enough, however, i'm typically able to find deleted posts/blogs with relative ease. normally i'm able to find a screenshot or a reblog of this post somewhere online, and i can reverse engineer the post through that. however here? it simply wasn't the case. the idea of a 2,000 word rant by a french communist on tumblr simply vanishing into thin air seems unbelievable, but i had no real evidence to claim this was a classic "tumblr fake story," just gut instinct.

if anyone has any lead on this case, no matter how small, i request that you notify me as soon as possible. Jacques continues to elude me, but i will not give up the search. i simply wanted to address the case and ask for additional information. i'm not gonna close the case just yet, or say the trail has gone cold. i'm gonna leave this one open, because i've got nothin' at this point, but i have faith something will turn up.

Also I just realized that we have established that Shen Yuan is "older" than even the fucking Old Palace Master... who looks like an old man. On one hand, the cultivation world is going to have a tough time remembering that Shen Yuan is "older" than the Old Palace Master because he looks like a young person. Then again, we have Shen Yuan spouting out all this amazing historical facts and whipping out "extinct" plants like it's something from Dollar Tree.

But anyways, the cultivation world is just going to be like, oh the Old Palace Master wasn't aware of such a legendary immortal that's been hanging around for centuries? He's not that old or cracked up as he likes to pretend to be. And suddenly everyone's favorite elder and wise sage is no long the Old Palace Master (who can't go around asserting his "seniority" and "experience" to strongarm people into agreeing) but Shen Yuan.
