the whole collection's in a zip at the top, much like my last cc post. (i'm trying to keep things neatly organized.) this set comes in my new palette (still unnamed oof) for feminine frames and the individual files and details are below:
📌 bold cardigan // that discover university cardigan re-imagined with contrasting colors, some even striped! 15 swatches, base game compatible.
📌 cropped denim pants // i love the details on the flared jeans in high school years- those front pockets? the row of buttons? needed them on a different mesh though, something a little more modern, so voilà- a slightly more versatile pair of pants. cropped, wide-leg, 16 swatches, base game compatible.
📌 colorful slippers // i want more cozy (and cool) clothing in my game! these are 100% inspired by a pair of slippers i saw online that i wish i could own irl. multi-colored, 10 swatches, base game compatible.
Day four: Some retextures of a couple of meshes suggested by other Simblrs!
First up is six plain recolours of afbodybrunojacketanimaltop from the H&M Stuff Pack. The request was to throw some different jeans on the mesh, and I tried my best! I was surprised to realise that the waistband for the jeans wasn’t actually meshed - it was flush with the Sim’s hip - and so took the opportunity to raise the waist a bit just because there are already so many low-rider jean options in TS2 (Y2K, baby). It gives me soccer mom vibes.
Second up is five toasty recolours of afbodysuit, aka the Social Worker dress. I had already planned to poke at this one a bit, and was thinking how I wanted some cardigans paired with maxi skirts. All the textures are handpainted (I’m particularly proud of the boots, and the knit pattern) except for where two borrow the original skirt textures.
Classified as Everyday and Outerwear, there are three versions with cowl neck sweaters and two with scarves - and if you know what the scarf versions are referencing I’ll blow you a kiss ;)
No meshes needed! The first requires H&M Stuff but the second is basegame.
I've been making a lot of blankets for christmas gifts lately and my current favorite thing to do is work on the new blanket while under 3 or 4 of the other blankets until the in-progress is added to the stack
I'm just like lmao...some guy, so it's very very Very funny to me how "luxury good" a large crocheted blanket is bc in my mind I'm outsmarting Big Blanket™ by slapping chenille around until it's a big squishy floppy sheet of chenille. Calculated the price for a full/double size blanket I'm working on and the lowball came out to like $400 👽 thank god I'm the little washer woman in the village that knows how to weave or whatever bc I would never be able to afford buying smth like this ☠️
Anyway, the yarn is fun to squish while you work and this pattern is my current favorite to make:
Godspeed my fellow guys who are just washer women making fabrics in the village.
i want to order from Lacemade so badly but EU import laws make it so risky and it's an asian brand so sizing is a slippery slope too and apparently their return policy is hell so i don't want to risk it 😭 i'm stalking Vinted daily but the only things being uploaded on there are too small for me wahhhh
Two sisters that have two opposite aesthetics! Nicole is wearing the cloud cardigan and has and edgy, cutesy aesthetic. Nica on the other hand has a cute kawaii aesthetic and is wearing the strawberry cardigan of course!
