yeonjun turning to your side of the bed only to notice you aren't there. he opens one eye and catches you sneaking out of the bedroom. "where are you going, baby?" he says in a raspy havent-used-his-voice-in-a-while voice. and you just still, because maybe pretending you're a statue would work (spoiler: it never does). as yeonjun calls out to you again, you slowly turn around to face him, brow furrowed in worry. "where are you going in the middle of the night, angel?" he says softly, though with the raspy element still there, making you melt and wanna tell him, even if it got you in trouble. "was gonna get some cookies from the kitchen 'cos i'm hungry, baba" you say in a small voice, clearly feeling guilty. "oh, baby. why didn't you tell me? i could've made you some warm milk to go with that." yeonjun surprises you with his words and accompanying smile. "i-, well, my last caregiver said i couldn't eat in the middle of the night and 'specially not cookies" you tell him, wide-eyed. yeonjun flips the duvet off of himself, walking himself over to you in his pajamas, which consisted of his plaid pajama pants and nothing on his torso. he likes sleeping like that and you like the way you can feel his heat and the feeling of bare skin. makes you feel safe and secure. "let's go get you something to eat, baby. you never have to worry about being told off for eating when it comes to me, i would like to join you though, at least when you're feeling small, is that okay?" he asks as you walk towards the kitchen, having placed his hand gently on your back. you nod and look up at him. you are lucky to have him as a caregiver, that's for sure.

Hello, darling! Can I request Yeonjun caregiver where the reader is having a bad day? Just some fluffy with their daddy, and maybe they helping their daddy too, if he's also having a bad day? Maybe just both comforting each other, I guess, Thank you!

Eat your ice cream
Everything that could have gone wrong seemed to on the most important day of his year. Yeonjun was sent home early from dance practice because he wasn’t “focused”. The dry cleaners switch out his suit with someone else’s and his reservation for the highest-class restaurant in Seoul scheduled him for the wrong day.
“Come on! No! I’m sorry! Don’t put me on hold again!! SHITT!!”, he groaned.
Honestly, your day hadn’t been going any better. Though your reasons didn’t seem as serious as his, you felt like a burden, taking too much space. Trying to make yourself as small as possible, you say in your comfy chair with your knees to your chest as he paced back and forth through your living room. Loosening his tie, with his phone pressed to his ear, he ran his hand through his hair repeatedly, licking at his lips on hold again for the third time. He’d been trying to find another restaurant and the longer he was on the phone, the more livid he became. In fact, you weren’t sure you’d ever seen him so mad. Looking at you once with his brows sewn tight, then twice, he forced himself to relax, realizing how his anger was affecting you. Pressing his lips together firmly, he finally gave up, ending the call and dropping his phone on the couch.
“I’m not mad at you, baby.”, he assured you, running both his hands through his hair once more as he willed himself to let it go.
"All I wanted was to make this perfect for you. Show you exactly how much I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you, kitten...", he half smiled, sauntering to your side. Weeks worth of planning for this extravagant evening. It wasn’t every day you celebrated two years together. Though he knew you didn’t love it, it was how he showed his love. He truly had done his best to learn to show his love in other ways but sometimes an over-the-top gesture was exactly what was needed rather than a casual movie date at home, eating too much ramyeon.
"M' sorry, Daddy...", you whimpered, already close to tears. You didn’t want your Daddy to be mad anymore. Everyone knew how important it had been to him. Yeonjun wasn’t the best at keeping surprises a secret, it wasn’t hard to catch him thinking he was being sneaky. Even though it wasn’t, somehow you felt like the problem.
"Oh, baby... no. Why would you think any of this is your fault? C’mere.", he held his arms open for you but you only shrank further into yourself, tears drip-dropping from your face onto your knees. Luckily, two years was a long time. Long enough for Yeonjun to learn all of your fears and insecurities and exactly how to cure them.
“None of that.”, he ‘tsked’, leaning over to scoop you from the chair and into his arms. Whining, you squirmed, only being squeezed tighter.
“Well, I’ve caught you now. I’m definitely never letting you go.”, he giggled at your ‘hmph’ once you finally gave up, shimmying your head around to look up at him, blowing hair from your face.
“Better?”, he simpered, lips curling up, satisfied as he moves the hair from your face. Nodding, you let yourself be pampered.
“Not mad anymorwe?”, you asked, tilting your head as he released you to take off his suit jacket.
“No, baby. Not mad.”, he sighed, half-smiling as he draped the purple jacket over the couch, “Come on, kitten. Let’s go get changed into something more comfortable.”
Satisfied you followed him to switch into something a bit lighter, discarding your dressy clothes happy to let him pick out a new outfit for you, always.
“Wanna go get some ice cream instead, baby?? Daddy’s craving mint choco”, he grinned, playing with your hair and turning you toward the door now that you were both changed.
“But-“, you pouted.
“I know. No mint choco for you. Not even a little bite? Teensy? Tiny?? Like my little kitten??”, standing behind you, holding you against his chest, he waddled you to the door chuckling against your ear and pressing lots of kisses as he spoke.
“Only if Daddy wears a trash bag to work tomorrow!!”, you looked over your shoulder flashing a playful smile.
“Hey! You know Daddy would look damn good in a garbage bag but I’ll let you win this round, brat.”, he laughed, leaning to kiss you, watching in nearly slow motion as you evaded him.
“GASP! DID YOU JUST REFUSE A KISS FROM DADDY!?”, he looked utterly offended. But you giggled, sitting on your victory.
“Daddy said a swear two times today…”, you whispered, chewing your lip excitedly, reaching for the door handle, “Daddy has to do dishes for a week!!”
Turning the door handle you ran out the door before he could grab his keys. Those were the rules and you had him beat. Grumbling to himself, he couldn’t help but smile, watching you peek out from behind the corner down the hall from your apartment as he locked the door. Extravagant evening or not, there’s no way a night with you, the night of your second anniversary could be bad.
“Seatbelt!”, he announced, leaning over to buckle you up and check that it was secure, placing one last kiss on your nose before fastening his own and starting the car.
It didn’t take long for you to recognize that weren’t going toward your usual ice cream stop.
“Where we goin’, Daddy??”, you pipe up curiously, playing with your mini plushy he always left in the car for you to fidget with. Turning on the radio, he skipped through his playlist a bit until he got to your song, smiling to himself as he tapped his hands on the steering wheel.
“You’ll see, baby. Just hold tight.”
Before you know it you’re driving out of town, the scenic becoming more rural and you doze off a little until you hit the ocean. The blue sparkling prettily back at you as you lay your head on the window. When you finally stop, you’re at a small-town ice cream parlor. Curiously, you toddled along with him, trusting his plans.
After ordering your favorite ice cream, he giggled happily to himself seeing that his mint choco was on the menu. He knew it was a coin toss coming this far out for ice cream.
“Let’s go, little one.”, abandoning the car, he takes your hand and walks you down the beach with your ice cream, making use of the last few warm nights of the season. Leaning against the thick wooden fencing half down the sandy scape, he ruffled your hair messily with his spoon in his mouth.
“Daddy’s super cool, huh? I didn’t plan any of this.”, snickering, he waved his spoon at you before digging for another scoop with a superficial frown, “But I’m still pretty sad.”
“Why?!!”, you gasp, turning to him with pouty eyes. How could Daddy be sad??
“Cuz I still haven’t gotten a thank you kiss from my kitten.”, teasing, he poked his tongue out from behind his teeth at you. All that was achieved was a grumpy baby kitty, at least until he kissed your cheek with a giggle.
“Eat your ice cream, before I make you eat mine.”, he grinned.
“Ew-“, you started.
“Yes, I know. Mint chocoooo!.”, he wailed dramatically, laughing at your disgusted face.
“Eat your ice cream.”, he smiled, throwing his arm over your shoulder as he watched the sunset. Not such a bad way to spend an anniversary.

🧸End note: it’s not birthday themed but this is my post for Yeonjun day! If you like mint choco- no you don’t 🤭 yes I know this feels a little uninspired 😅 but I panicked and rushed a little. Happy Yeonjun Day!

txt mtl with a noona kink — in cherry’s lenses 🤭
mention of age gap, mommy, noona and oppa kink
i think they’re all from one extent to another very big noona lovers buuuut~
taehyun is the one for whom i’m rather sure an older partner would suit him best 🤭 age gaps don’t scare him at all if anything the older the better, he’s very mature and for him there’s nothing like making you submit despite him being younger — sometimes way younger — than you~ i feel like for taehyun the noona in angel or devil must come to mind when we think of noona kink so he had to be first~
soobin i think prefers slightly older partners and would limit himself to like a 10yr age gap, however he’s very much a big baby bunny with a noona kink 😖🩷 i definitely can see him with a younger partner too as he has a very caregiving personality… but all i can remember is him saying he wants to be ordered around… we got it soobinie 😏
yeonjun i’ve always felt like he is very all or nothing fhdbfbd it’s either 110% noona kink or 110% oppa kink, part of me likes to think he’s subbier and more baby than we like to think and he’d want so much praise from an older partner~ like i can see his pout rn and be like “am i being a good boy? 🥺” that’s so him idk
beomgyu always gave me the vibes of wanting someone his age or older or younger like he doesn’t have much of a preference 🤭 if he were with someone older though he’d take the noona/mommy kink to a whole other level like finally this baby gets to live his bratty baby boy dream life! rhshdhdhd
hueningkai omg beomkai used to be flipped around but in the end idk this boy seems to have some sort of an oppa kink actually? i feel like he’d rather be oppa than call you noona (even if you’re older~) i’ve always seen him as not having much of a preference either i feel like he’d take an older just like a younger partner, and his age too >3<

tiny little bricks
cg soobin, little yeonjun ; wc 2.2k
The morning light shines through the blinds and forces Yeonjun to open his eyes. The first thing he feels as his consciousness floats to the surface is just that, floaty. He feels light and buoyant. His 23 mentality slishes and sloshes around in his brain before settling down and a floaty headspace of a toddler starts to make waves on his consciousness. He blinks once, twice, three times, and once more. Yeonjun feels a whine bubbling in his throat as he stretches his arms up out of the comforter. The stretches are little, and so is the rest of how his body is feeling. He feels so small this morning. He’s just a tiny seashell in this big big ocean of his bedroom.
He rolls over on his side and Yeonjun’s eyes meet Soobin’s back. He’s wearing a white shirt and it’s silently wrinkled from his moving around in bed. Yeonjun longs for his touch, his tiny muddled brain can’t seem to reach out to him. Yeonjun’s big subconscious reminds him in a small voice that Soobin has work today. Soobin doesn’t go far for his job, just a few times where his boss comes into town and he has to act like he doesn’t work from home 24/7, but he does have meetings in his office. This is something Yeonjun, big or little, can’t stand. He can’t bear the fact that just for an hour or two Soobin’s attention can’t be on him. Today just happens to be one of those days. So, taking into account that Yeonjun won’t get much Soobin today, he reaches out and snuggles his face into the crook of Soobin’s neck.
This cat-like action stirs Soobin awake. He turns over, and Yeonjun raises his head off of Soobin’s neck. Soobin smiles at him softly, still groggy from just being woken up. “Good morning Yeonjun hyung,” he says, voice raspy and this makes Yeonjun shy.
“Not hyung today. Baby,” Yeonjun whispers.
“Ah, okay. Hi baby,” Soobin acknowledges. Yeonjun secretly wishes Soobin would’ve asked how old he was, just for a little bit more attention, but his caregiver seems to be more focused on getting out of bed. “Let’s go get ready, jjunie,” Soobin says as he stands up.
“Okay!” Yeonjun jumps out of the bed, excitedly. He always looks forward to mornings with Sobin, and basically everything with Soobin. Soobin picks out his skincare headband and also picks one out for Yeonjun. “Baby, how old are you feeling? Do you want dada to do your skincare for you?”
Yeonjun feels shy again. He wanted this attention a couple minutes ago, but now it’s just making his cheeks flush a dusty pink. “Mmn… M three!” he proudly holds up three fingers, “N… can dada do it?”
“Of course, cutie,” Soobin helps Yeonjun rinse his face with water, and apply his toner, a serum, and some moisturizer. Yeonjun is pulling a little duck face and giggling the entire time. Soobin’s soft touches on Yeonjun’s skin only make him slip deeper into his soft headspace, filled with fluffy clouds that feel like Soobin’s arms and his sweaters. Before he knows it, the headband is being peeled off his head and Soobin is rinsing his face to do his routine too. Yeonjun just watches him with sparkles in his eyes. Soobin is his precious daddy, and Yeonjun is somehow so enamored by everything he does.
Soobin pats his face down with a hand towel and takes off his headband, carefully placing his and Yeonjun’s back in the drawer. He turns to face Yeonjun who has now retreated to sitting on the tile floor of their bathroom, fiddling with a stray hair tie on the ground. Soobin smiles and speaks up, “C’mon little prince, let’s go eat breakfast.” Yeonjun’s head perks up at the pet name and the mention of breakfast. Now that he thinks about it, his tummy has been growling at him. Soobin holds his hand out and Yeonjun grabs onto it, hoisting himself off the ground. But, most of that work was done by his strong appa.
Yeonjun waddles slowly behind Soobin to the kitchen. He feels smaller than ever, a cloudy haze filling his subconscious with only thoughts of Soobin’s cuddles and his bed. By the time Yeonjun reaches the kitchen table, Soobin is already pulling out a box of toaster waffles and popping them into the toaster. Little Yeonjun watches curiously as his hyung shuffles around the kitchen, pulling out plates and a bottle of syrup. Soobin places syrup and some utensils on the table that Yeonjun sat down at. He whines, tummy growling again. “Breakfast is coming soon, love,” And Yeonjun nods. Words just seem like too much right now.
The fresh and warm waffles are set on Yeonjun’s plate. They look so yummy but all Yeonjun can do is whine high in his throat. He looks up at Soobin, who is already eating his waffles. Yeonjun tries to speak, “D-dada,” he quietly croaks out. This gets Soobin’s attention and he sees his sweet baby pouting down at his waffles, untouched. Not even the utensils have moved from their place that Soobin set them in. “Aw, baby, you look like you need some help eating, hm?” Yeonjun whines and nods again, Soobin scooting over his chair and picking up the syrup. Soobin carefully drizzles it over Yeonjun’s waffles, seeing a smile grow on his baby's face. He picks up the fork and rips off a bite-sized piece of waffle. Soobin makes a “woosh”ing noise as he trails the fork towards Yeonjun’s mouth. He opens his mouth like a baby bird and closes his mouth around the waffle, chewing obediently. “Okay, my baby boy is gonna eat all of his food so he can have so much energy for the day, right?” Yeonjun eagerly nods and Soobin’s process continues. He gets a piece and tries his best to make each airplane and train show a little different for each bite.
Soobin gasps, “Wow! Look at that, my prince finished all his food. Such a good boy.”
“I'm a good listener.”
“Yes you are my sweet boy,” Soobin pets his hair softly, “Always listening to dada. My baby,” Soobin coos. Yeonjun blushes shyly at his caregiver’s praises. Soobin is such a sweet daddy, always praising his baby at every chance he gets and Yeonjun loves every second of it. He loves being praised for his hard work when he’s big, and it carries over for when he’s tiny. Even if his hard work is finishing all of his breakfast. Yeonjun is fiddling with his fork on his empty plate and Soobin speaks up,
“What do you want to do before daddy has to work, love?” Yeonjun perks up, eyes sparking with wonder and excitement for getting to spend time with Soobin. He thinks, little face scrunching up as he makes this super important decision. Yeonjun’s eyes bounce around the room, trying to come with an idea. His eyes drift towards a bin on the floor that has a scrawled on sharpie label that says, “Legos,” and Yeonjun’s eyes light up and he jumps out of his chair in excitement. “Dada, I wan play wif legos! Please? Please, can we play with legos, please!” He’s bouncing on the balls of his feet and his hands are in little fists, shaking around. Soobin smiles, “Of course, baby. Let’s go get them out.”
They both stand up and walk into their living room. Yeonjun plops on the floor, still jittering with excitement and pulls out his box of legos that he was eyeing earlier. He pops the cap off and gazes into the tub, eyes glistening. “Whatcha gonna make, jjunie bear?”
Yeonjun is pulling out different pieces from lego sets he’s bought over the years, the ones from the small packets, and also just random gifts. He keeps all the fancy cool ones displayed in his room. The pieces are small and even though baby Yeonjun is a bit more clumsier than big Yeonjun, he sticks out his tongue adorably as he focuses on latching the tiny little bricks together. “Jjunie makin a bakery wif bread for Soobie hyung!” He babbles, pulling out more bricks. It’s not really looking like a bakery, with rainbow colored walls, no roof, and it seems like Yeonjun is just pulling out bricks and attaching them to each other; not much thought is put into it. Regardless, Soobin is oh so fond of his sweet baby. “Ah, okay. Thank you so much, I’m sure it’ll look great.”
Yeonjun continues making creations out of the bricks and proudly showing them to his caregiver, who voices just that, how proud he is. Time slips by way too fast when Yeonjun is little because it’s around 1:30pm, which is the time Soobin’s meeting for work starts. He glances painfully at his baby, not wanting to break his childlike aura he has around him as he fumbles with the legos by telling him he has to do work. Soobin decides to not go into his office and to just listen to the meeting out in the living room with his Yeonjun. He might be a little bit distracted, but oh well. His laptop is sitting conveniently on the end table and Soobin grabs it and opens it, clicking on the zoom link in his email for the meeting. Yeonjun’s head perks up with curiosity once again and Soobin smiles warmly at him, playfully shushing him in advance. Yeonjun’s mouth makes a little ‘o’ shape and he puts his head back down, refocusing on his 10th creation with his legos.
Around half way through the hour-long meeting, Soobin can see Yeonjun getting antsy out of his peripheral vision. He’s no longer playing with legos and just rolling around on the floor. Soobin wishes deep inside his soul that he could just get off the meeting early and entertain his baby with all his block fantasies and creativities. Yeonjun doesn’t regress that much, being the oldest out of the couple so Soobin really cherishes these moments with his baby. Another 15 minutes pass, and Yeonjun is making whooshing noises with his block airplane that he made. He zooms around the living room and crash-landing the airplane onto the carpet, just to do it all over again. Every 5 minutes he changes vehicles, going from a plane to a train to a car to a motorcycle, all making the noises that accompany those machines. Soobin is just so endeared by his actions. The meeting ends and Soobin closes his laptop, setting it aside. He looks up and Yeonjun is whirling around a car in the air and making cute little noises with his mouth to resemble a car engine. Yeonjun realizes that Soobin has closed his laptop and Yeonjun drives the car in the air towards Soobin. He reaches him and plops down into his caregiver’s lap. Yeonjun’s mouth is in a cute little smile that looks like a ‘v’ and is looking up at Soobin. They stare fondly at each other for a few moments before Soobin breaks the silence, “Are you ready to clean up, angel?” Yeonjun obediently nods and starts breaking down his lego creations and placing the tiny little bricks back into their respective box. He finishes cleaning up and Soobin pets his hair.
Yeonjun whines and asks, “C-can we watch a movie? M tired.”
“Yeah you must be from all that playing,” Soobin sits down on their couch and pats the space next to him, Yeonjun eagerly filling up the spot Soobin offered, “What does my precious prince wanna watch?” He hands him the remote.
As expected, Yeonjun opens Disney+ and scrolls down to their favorites, clicking on Big Hero 6. Soobin ruffles Yeonjun’s hair as he snuggles into Soobin’s side.
A couple minutes into the movie, Yeonjun starts to nibble on the pad of his thumb. It slowly enters his mouth and he starts sucking on it. Soobin notices this and opens the drawer of the end table to find a paci he remembered putting there a couple days ago. The whine that Yeonjun lets out as his finger is pulled out of his mouth pains Soobin. But, his sadness is quickly replaced by a cute little smile as the paci is placed in his mouth. Throughout the rest of the movie, Yeonjun is slightly suckling on the paci and Soobin is rubbing circles on Yeonjun’s hand that he is holding. The movement causes Yeonjun’s eyes to flutter open and shut. Everytime he catches himself drifting off, he jerks awake, not wanting to miss his favorite movie. But, Soobin just eases him back into his side and rubs more shapes into Yeonjun’s hand and thigh.
Eventually, Yeonjun falls asleep. After all, playing with legos is a very serious and grueling task for babies as tiny as his Yeonjunnie. Soobin shuts off the TV and carries Yeonjun to their bedroom. The jostling of Soobin picking him up causes Yeonjun to whine cutely but Soobin quickly shushes him. This works, and he falls back asleep in his arms. Soobin reaches their bedroom and places him on the bed. He briefly considers not climbing in bed for Yeonjun, his excuse being that it was way too early for a nap. But, he gives in and cuddles Yeonjun to sleep. Yeonjun sighs contently with the feeling of Soobin near him and the fluffy clouds of dreamland overtake his mind as he drifts off into a peaceful afternoon slumber.

i’d like to request a fic where cg introduces little y/n to the rest of the members ! ty ^^
hello, lovely !! thank you for being my first ever request on this account, it’s an honour !! I hope you enjoy this :3 p.s i suck at writing plot so hopefully it's okay 😅
that’s what friends are for - cg!soobin, little!reader, best friend!beomgyu
Tumblr media
summary - soobin is your caregiver, and you tell the rest of the boys about your regression. later, soobin isn’t home and you regress, but luckily your best friend is there to help ! gender neutral reader :]
word count - 1k
genre - fluff, hurt/comfort
~
You shuffle your feet, digging your toes into the fuzzy carpet of your boyfriend’s room. Anxious wasn’t even the word to describe how you were feeling.
“We don’t have to tell them-” you start, voice shaky.
“Nonsense, baby.” Soobin cuts you off. He bends down to meet your eyes. “You stay here a lot, and I want you to be happy.” he cups your cheeks with his big hands and places a kiss to the tip of your nose.
After a few months of Soobin being your caregiver, you made the decision that you’ll tell the other members that you regress. He pitched this idea to you last night at bedtime - he wants you to be able to live your life comfortably, and since you spend most of your time in the dorm, it would be better for you if you could regress freely. If you were being honest, you only agreed because you’ll agree with anything he says whilst he’s speaking to you gently and stroking your hair. Now, though, once it’s reached the morning, you were regretting saying yes at all. All morning, Soobin kept reassuring you that they will react just fine, telling stories of how Yeonjun once had a partner that regressed and the other boys were very accommodating of their lifestyle - infact, they didn’t mind at all, and even helped out from time to time. But still, you can’t shake the worry that pools in your stomach. It’s refreshing how they view you as Soobin’s cool, funny partner. You don’t want them to view you any differently than how they do now. It’s not like you didn’t trust them, or that you weren’t close, because you do and you are. You just feel some needless shame.
“Now come on.” your boyfriend continues. “The guys love you, and like I said, they’re familiar with this stuff. They’d never judge you. Once this is over, you’ll realise we made the right choice.”
He tucks your hand into his larger one and gives it an encouraging squeeze. You stand up and he follows, patting your head before leading you off into the living room, where your four friends await you.
~
As Soobin expected, the boys took it very well. Yeonjun was especially accepting, given his experience, as well as Beomgyu since you consider each other best friends. Now though, about an hour later, Soobin and Yeonjun have left for a schedule and you were alone in the living room. You were absent mindedly scrolling on social media whilst the others rustled around in the kitchen, until a scent hit your nose. Stew, and it smells just like the one your family make…
After all the stress you experienced today, this one thing is enough to tip you over into regression. Your head starts to feel fuzzy and your hands start fidgeting, and all you can think of is how much you want your daddy. You sniffle, trying to hold back your panicked tears. Even though they knew now, you couldn’t burden them like this…
All your emotions overwhelmed you and pushed you closer to the edge. Before you could stand up and run to Soobin’s room, a voice piped up beside you.
“Is everything okay?”
It’s Beomgyu. You nod.
“You don’t look okay…” he says, tone cautious. “I came to ask if you wanted to eat with us?”
“I’m fine-”
You try fooling him, but the crack in your voice betrays you. With a concerned sigh, he moves to the sofa and puts his hand on yours. You put your phone down and look at him, and he must notice the tears in your eyes because he instantly pulls you in for a hug. You rest your head on his chest, allowing him to cradle you.
“What’s up, huh? You can tell Beomie…”
The third person baby talk he always does when comforting you is the final push. Even if Beomgyu didn’t exactly know about your littlespace, he always knew just how to comfort you. Without a second thought, you start balling, babbling about how stressed you are and want your daddy. He draws patterns on your back and shushes you as you rant, feeling your pain through your voice. Unsure of what to do, he decides to just straight up ask you -
“So are you regressed?” With a hiccup, you shrug your shoulders. He wasn’t entirely sure why he thought he’d get an answer out of you, but he guesses that you are. He’s seen you in breakdowns before, but he’d never heard you talk like this before. He doesn’t mind taking over whilst Soobin is gone - he’s comforted you many times before, he doesn’t love you any less whilst you’re little.
“I’ll take that as a yes.” he says, a little smile forming on his lips. As he continues, he leans back and reaches out to wipe your tears. “How about we go to Soobi- I mean your daddy’s room to see your plushies, yeah?”
In response, you nod, subconsciously leaning your face on his hand. With a quiet ‘lets go’ he leads you away from the sofa and towards Soobin’s room, and you waddle behind him.
As soon as you enter Soobin’s room, you immediately feel comforted. Everything in here reminds you of him, right down to the off-white wallpaper and the lavender scent of his diffuser. You stop crying right away and start smiling up at Beomgyu, to show him that you feel better now. Beomgyu notices this and smiles right back at you.
“Wanna cuddle whilst we wait for your daddy to get back?”
You nod in excitement, bouncing up and down on the balls of your feet. Next to daddy’s cuddles, Beomie’s cuddles are the best!
~
Curling into one another, surrounded by your beloved plushies, you and Beomgyu settle down. He runs his fingers through your hair, staring down at you with love in his eyes. Even if this is new to your friendship, he wouldn’t mind helping Soobin out from time to time. You are best friends, after all. You’re very precious to him and your comfort is as high up on his list of priorities as his own.
“Thank you for looking after me…” you mumble, head buried in his chest.
“Don’t worry,” he replies, voice soft, squishing his cheek against your head. “this is what friends are for. I’ll always look after you.”

Number: 17 “Why didn’t you say anything sooner about your belly feeling so sick?”
Sick: Taehyun
Caregiver: Yeonjun
I hope it's ok like this ^^
Warning: description of throwing up/vomit
Tumblr media
Currently Yeonjun and Taehyun were in the practice room, they wanted to dance a bit while doing a Vlive for Moa. Before they start the live they obviously had to warm up a bit. Yeonjun already had the music on gull volume and was stretching a bit. Taehyung sat a bit aside and was stretching his legs too. However he had a hard time to do so as his stomach was making flips each time he moved. If he would just bend down the slightest it was in his throat. He felt like this since the morning but he thought a mug of tea and pills for nausea would do the thing. It didn't. He felt a bit better for a few minutes but right now it's back and now it's even worse.
Taehyun knew he should say something before they started the Vlive but he just couldn't. Yeonjun was so happy as Taehyun said he would join him. He doesn't have the heart to ruin that now. After all they rarely had time to do Vlives anymore.
So he did his best to power through it.
However, after a few rounds of dancing he knew he couldn't hold it back any longer. They didn't even fully dance yet as it was just warm ups. But even those movements that he usually could do in his sleep unsettled his stomach even more. A cold sweat was gathering on his forehead and neck. His ears ringing. And suddenly he bend forward with a retch as clear liquid splashed on the ground.
Hearing that sound Yeonjun widened his eyes. Immediately he stopped the music and was as fast as possible by Taehyuns side.
"Shit." He cursed as he saw the mess on the floor and his band member violently lurching up more liquid.
"It's okay. You're okay." Yeonjun tried to comfort.
Taehyun squeezed his eyes shut as his stomach cramped harshly sending up another rush of hot liquid. It was burning his throat. His legs wobbled and he had a hard time to hold himself up. To his luck Yeonjun noticed that and grabbed his wrist to slowly guide the younger down.
After a few more round of being sick the younger was finally empty. He let himself fall on the floor. Yeonjun making sure that the young singer didn't accidentally sit in his own mess.
"Why didn't you say anything sooner about your belly feeling so sick?" Yeonjun questioned. His brows furrowed in concern.
Taehyun took a deep breath "Didn't want to make you sad.." he mumbled.
Yeonjun sighed and he wrapped one arm around the younger. Squeezing his shoulder in process. "You make me sad if I see you being this sick."
Taehyung looked down. "Can we go home?"
"Of course." The older said as he ruffled the youngers hair.

Creepy Crawlies - R!Kai
(Tw: Spiders) And I know they aren’t technically bugs but I still call them that in this lol
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kai giggled contently in the bathtub, a red bath crayon in his hand and bubbles surrounding him. He dragged the crayon in crazy scribbles all over one of his drawings since he knew it had to be rinsed away soon. Soobin watched him with amused smirk on his face while he waited for the water to drain. Once it did he used the shower head to wash away the left over bubbles on Kai's skin and the artwork he made. He wrapped him up in a fluffy towel and ruffled his hair wildly with it to make him laugh.
"Okay, jammie time. Arms up!" Soobin said brightly after drying him off completely. He knelt down and helped him with his pants and dinosaur socks.
"There you go. Do you want to watch a movie be-"
"Ahhhh!!" Kai suddenly cried in Soobin's face, pointing over his shoulder. "Spider!"
Kai burst into tears and tried to climb on to Soobin's lap in a panic. He hated bugs! They scared him to death when he was little. Soobin stood up quickly and sat Kai back on the floor. He spun around frantically, searching for something to get rid of it with. He snatched a tissue box and spotted the spider on the floor.
"Nooo!! Don't kill it!" Kai wailed, flailing his arms.
"What do you mean? I thought you wanted it gone?"
"Gone gone! Don' hurt him! Will feel bad!"
"Okay, okay" Soobin said semi calmly over the loud cries. He dropped the tissue box and turned around, leaving to get a cup and piece of paper.
Huening kai couldn't help but stare down the vile creature. He hated it! He was so scared! But, if he didn't keep an eye on it he could lose it and it could come back to terrorize him. Tears kept falling down his pink cheeks, as he waited for Soobin's return. The spider crawled an inch in Kai's direction and he shrieked loudly. He pushed him self harder against the tiled wall, as if it could swallow him whole and keep him safe from the little beast.
Soobin sprinted back into the bathroom and immediately trapped the spider under a white cup. He approached Kai before actually catching it to calm him down. The boy was in hysterics, sobbing and squirming. Soobin hushed him and pulled him into his arms while he sat on the floor.
"It's okay, baby. Shhh, I'm taking care of it."
Sometimes the boys forgot how intense Kai's phobia of spiders truly was. He was usually alright with tiny ones, just some shivers and whining here and there, but there were specific ones that had a specific look to them that sent him into a fit of tears. Apparently, one of those kinds of spiders decided to tour their bathroom today.
"It's under a cup right now, so it won't get to you. I promise. It's alright, sweetheart." Kai had his eyes tightly squeezed shut and didn't dare to take a peek. His anxiety was pouring intrusive thoughts into his head about being covered with the bugs. He cried harder into Soobin's chest and begged him to get him out of there. He knew it was still close, the cup being over it didn't make it disappear; he knew that.
"Wan' go to Junnie! Want Papa! Please!" He hiccuped. Soobin acted instantly and carried Kai swiftly out of the bathroom and across the hall to Yeonjun's room. The eldest wasn't actually there, he was in some other room with headphones on, so Soobin texted him.
"Okay, you sit here all nice and comfy and I'll go get rid of the 'you know what' while you wait for your Papa. Okay?" Soobin said after plopping Kai on the mattress.
The youngest nodded hesitantly and watched Soobin re-enter the bathroom. Soobin crouched down to the floor and carefully slid the paper under the cup. Then he slowly picked it up, keeping the spider trapped inside and made his way to the door. Yeonjun skidded past him and ran up to Kai, nearly tackling him in a hug.
"How dare that stupid spider scare my baby Kai like that! I'll beat him up! Don't worry, I won't let him get you." Yeonjun said dramatically, wrapping Huening Kai up in a blanket like a sushi roll.
Kai used the blanket to wipe away the snot and tears covering his face and whimpered against Yeonjun. He felt two strong arms adjust him, so he was on Yeonjun's lap facing him comfortably. The eldests shoulder was a safe place to cry on.
"Hate em. This is our house not theirs!" He pouted.
"I know. They scare you quite a bit, yet you insist that we don't just kill them." Yeonjun replied, holding back a chuckle at how cute Kai was.
"Mh- But they dunno! Don't wanna em to hurt. It's not fair."
"Each day I am more convinced that you are secretly an angel, huening kai." Yeonjun smiled brightly and kissed his baby's head.
"Mission accomplished! Extermination complete." Soobin popped up in the door with a proud smile.
"How's he doing?" He asked, quiet enough for just Yeonjun to hear.
"We're getting there, expressing our hatred for spiders, questioning our morality. He'll be okay in a few." Yeonjun chuckled, rubbing Kai's back comfortingly.
Soobin nodded and moved into the room to take a seat next to them on the bed. Kai curiously lifted his head and looked at Soobin. Although glossy, his eyes were warm with innocence, like hot chocolate. He sniffled his last sniffle and wiggled to get off Yeonjun. They watched him stand up nervously, inspecting the floor and scanning the walls and ceiling with his eyes. He didn't move much, just the occasional random step.
"What're you doing, angel?" Soobin asked.
"Jus' making sure." Huening kai almost whispered. "I wanna go to bed but had to check for spiders"
"Ohh, okay. I don't see anything and if I do I'll take it outside immediately. Come lay down." Yeonjun said, hoping his words would soothe the little's worries.
"We can have a sleepover tonight." He added. Kai giggled and crawled back on Yeonjun's bed, nestling himself into the blankets and pillows.
"I'll go get Goguma, hang tight." Yeonjun said before getting up and leaving.
Kai pulled on Soobin's arm to get him to lay down and cuddled up to his side like a little kitten. He loved the warmth that came with close cuddles. Soobin pat his hair and used his phone to play the little ones lullaby playlist. The familiarity and somewhat nostalgic melodie's always soothed the boys and helped them sleep. Yeonjun returned with Kai's beloved bunny plush and made the toy give him kisses before laying down. He left on a small lamp, so it wasn't too dark, and let Kai get comfortable between him and Soobin.
"Promise no more buggies..." Kai asked softly with round eyes.
"Promise! We'll protect you, baby."
They both hooked their pinkies on each of Kai's and give them a kiss to seal the promise. Finally, the boy was able to fully relax and drift off to sleep.

“Wait, so you invited your partner... to watch you practice dancing... as a date?” Taehyun questioned Yeonjun when the elder had told them why he wanted to practice by himself after they’ve done with their official practice session of the day. “Yeah! I’ve caught them watching my liveshows where I practice a few times and they said that they love to see it but don’t want to intrude on our group’s practice time, so I asked if they wanted to hang out while I practiced by myself, and, Taehyun, you should’ve seen the excitement on their cute little face.” Yeonjun giggled as he thought back to when he had proposed the idea to you. “Huh, you can do that?” he heard Taehyun mumble to himself. Yeonjun could see his gears turning and let out a small snort as he could practically see the younger make a mental note of that for the future.
“Yeah, you can. Now, scram! They’ll be here any minute and I don’t want any of you here when they arrive!” Yeonjun all but pushed them out of the room. Beomgyu laughed his little menace-laugh; “are you afraid that they’ll rather be with one of us when they see us? I mean, I’d get it. I would get tired of your ugly mug too if I knew I had other options.” he snickered, but before Yeonjun had the chance to grab him to get him back for his teasing words, Soobin had placed his hand on the small of the little demon’s back, gently guiding him out of the practice room faster. “Hyung, I guess I don’t have to tell you to be responsible but still, make sure you lock up and stuff when you’re done and don’t be home too late.” Yeonjun nodded, hurrying the leader out of the room too, scoffing at the tone the younger had with him, letting out an ‘aish’ and telling the other not to worry but just to get going already. Before he was completely alone in the room, waiting for you, he heard Huening Kai yell ‘good luck and have fun’ to him, appreciating the youngest’s encouraging words.
Before you were to arrive, he made a quick tidy of the room. Since the other members had picked up their things, the room wasn’t in much disarray, but he still made sure to kick some of his clothes and shoes to the side where his bag was and to place his used towel into his bag, pulling a fresh one out to place it on top of it. As much as he had warned you that he was most likely going to be pretty gross when you arrived, he still would like to be as presentable as possible. The relationship, although pretty stable, was still fairly new to both of you. He had yet to show himself not fresh out of the shower to you; you hadn’t even been over to the dorm yet. He liked you, a lot, but he still wanted to know that the relationship would last a long time before inviting you over. You understood completely, since he also shared the space with 4 other boys, it made sense that Yeonjun would keep the space as the last introduction to his world, not wanting to soil a safe space for his friends and himself. You were just happy to still be getting to know the many sides of him and having your own little happy bubble for the time being.
You had also slowly let him in on your many sides as a person. It had been a tough decision, but you had let in on the fact that you regressed fairly early. He had been invited over to your place and, wanting to continuously impress him, you had cleaned your entire apartment, and had thought to have stashed away all your stuffed animals and other things that pertain to your age regression, but he was a curious man and accidentally stumbled on your stash, almost quite literally. You had your regression stuff in a basket underneath your bed and had, apparently, not pushed it in far enough, as he could feel it against his socked foot as he was walking beside your bed. He pulled out the basket to find a bunch of stuffed animals, some colouring books along with crayons, and a few colourful shirts and shorts that would’ve stuck out like a sore thumb in your closet. When he asked about it, you couldn’t tell exactly how he felt about his findings, so you asked him if he was weirded out by it or something like that. He was quick to reassure you that he was honestly just curious about it, with no negativity involved in his feeling of curiosity whatsoever. And so, you told him about age regression and why you do it, and he just listened the entire time, at some point grabbing your hand to hold it, supporting you through talking about something so personal.
If you had to ask Yeonjun, that was the point in your relationship where he could feel it shift into something more serious. The fact that you had shared such a vulnerable thing with him, it warmed his heart and made him feel like the two of you would last a long time. Which was why he invited you over as an audience to his dance practice, slowly inviting you into his world.
He heard a small knock on the door to the practice room, making his smile grow wide as he knew that it was you. He jogged over to the door and opened it, only to see you with just as big a smile on your lips. “Baby! Hi!” Yeonjun exclaimed, hugging you instantly. You giggled at his excitement and got a quiet ‘hi!’ out too before he took your hand and brought you further into the space, closing the door after you.
“Welcome to my home away from home! I think I use the same amount of time here as I do at the dorms, so it really is almost a home.” he chuckled and rubbed his neck in a nervous fashion. You had picked up on some of his habits, and over-explaining and rubbing his neck were two of the things he did when he felt nervous or awkward. You placed a hand on his shoulder to calm his nerves while looking around the huge room. It was sleek and quite stylish for a practice room for dancing but you had somewhat expected that since it was HYBE. As you looked around with your mouth open in wonder, Yeonjun couldn’t pry his eyes off of you. He enjoyed your presence so much, loving the energy you brought to his life. It was easy for him to forget to appreciate the small things, the normal things, but you somehow kept him grounded and reminded him that there was so much good and beauty in the simple things, which was something he hadn’t exactly said to you, but he saw it when you had explained age regression to him. He loved the fact that you got to take a second to enjoy the small joys in life, that you get that magic of being impressed by small things again. Before he realised, the words came from his mouth; “I love the way you enjoy life,” which got you beet red, whining and hiding in his chest, making him chuckle at your reaction. He teased you a bit more before getting you to sit down to the side as he went over to press play on his phone which was hooked up to the sound system.
He danced to a few of his group’s songs, with you clapping and cheering him on in the background, causing him to mess up some of the choreography with the tips of his ears growing redder and redder before you heard the start of MOA Diary come on. Yeonjun smirked and looked at you as he turned towards you and started dancing. He had been facing the mirror the entire time he was practicing, so it was a shift in energy in the room when he suddenly was facing you. He made the performance extra cute and sweet for you. He knew you were likely to tease him a bit for his use of aegyo moves while dancing, but he wanted you to have fun while watching. When he had danced through most of the song, he saw you dancing along. It was the simpler moves in the chorus but it made him so happy to see you picking up on the choreography to a song that was so special to him.
He finished the song like he was on Music Bank with his own ending fairy moment obviously with you in mind, blowing a kiss directly to you. You clapped so much and stood up to run to him, throwing your arms around him, exclaiming that he was ‘so cool!’. He brought his arms around you in a tight hug, only to lift you and spin you around, his smile growing even wider as he heard your giggles. When he let you down on the floor again, he could tell there was something different about you. You had been looking kind of anxious most of the time you were watching him, even if you were enjoying yourself, and he understood that it was a new place and a new situation, so he would be surprised if you had been able to fully relax, but as he looked at you, you looked completely free of any concerns, cutely trying to repeat the moves from MOA Diary in the mirror, giggling as you watched yourself. Yeonjun found himself studying you and your change in attitude, wondering what it could be. It had been such a drastic change that he didn’t think you had just been feeling more comfortable, because that usually came gradually, so what was it?
“Jjunie, Jjunie! Look! Y/N dance too!” It was the way you were referring to yourself in third person and the higher pitch of your voice that made him come to the conclusion that you had probably regressed, watching him dance, and that his antics during MOA Diary were the tipping point for you. “I see that, baby! You’re doing so great! Even better than Jjunie!” he chuckled and went behind you, watching you through the mirror. “Want Jjunie to teach you?” If there was something he felt he was the best at, it was being able to teach someone a dance, and since he felt slightly lost in what to do as you were regressed, he had the idea to teach you MOA Diary, to give himself a bit more confidence in the situation. You nodded wildly, showing great enthusiasm at the thought of learning the dance.
The first thing Yeonjun tried was to dance beside you, trying to break down the moves into bite-sized portions, but you had trouble with that if your whines and small cries were anything to go by, so he turned to stand behind you and move your limbs in the correct way, slowly but surely teaching you the dance. Your big grins and your small ‘oh’s or ‘woah’s made him thoroughly enjoy the different way of teaching a dance. He'd found that he’d do most things to see you be so impressed and happy as you were when you got a move right.
The two of you stayed for a bit longer than you were supposed to, but were happy with the time you had spent dancing and having fun. He asked one of the managers that were staying late if it was possible to get a ride home and he said yes. The manager got your address and drove to your apartment first, letting Yeonjun take his time, walking you to your front door. It seemed you had de-regressed, or whatever it was called, on the way home in the car, which probably had something to do with the stranger that was in the tight space with you. “Thank you for letting me hang out today, and for teaching, um, me, the MOA dance,” you said, slightly embarrassed. He smiled at you, cupping your cheek with his big hand, and leaned in for a kiss. You closed your eyes to savour his lips on yours and opened them again when he pulled away, to see his fond eyes and a sweet smile playing on his lips. “It was my pleasure, really.”
You said your goodbye and goodnights and he got back into the car to get home to his dorm. He thanked the manager for the ride and got inside, putting his shoes and jacket away like he normally would, though, he wasn’t exactly aware of his surroundings, as his group members were sitting on the couch, which was not that far from the front door, only noticing them as Beomgyu spoke, scaring Yeonjun so much that he jumped back from the shock. “Well, well, well, look who’s home late,” the younger spoke, and Yeonjun swore he could see small horns on his forehead, maybe even a tail swishing back and forth behind his back. He scoffed at the younger, “it’s not that late,” but Soobin brought his wrist up to look at the watch strapped in around it, “sorry to say, hyung, but it’s a bit over midnight.” Yeonjun looked up at the clock they had on the wall, ready to call bullshit, but Soobin was right. It was 12:14 AM. Most of the boys in front of him smirked, knowing now that Yeonjun had not at all kept an eye on the time, his focus most likely being somewhere else, on someone else. “So, hyung~, when do we get to meet the love of your life?” Huening Kai asked in a sickly-sweet voice, making Yeonjun scoff, his ears red at all the attention and questions. “Never, if you don’t behave,” Yeonjun answered, hearing whines behind him as he went into his bedroom to get some sleep and, hopefully, dream about you.

A loud crack of thunder is heard. You jump slightly and hug one of your plushies tightly. You whimper softly and start to cry.
"Junnie!" You call out for your caregiver who comes running into your room.
"Hey, Sweetheart," Yeonjun says softly, coming over to your bed. He sits at the edge of the bed and strokes your cheek gently. "What's wrong?"
You don't respond and grab onto Yeonjun, crying into his shoulder.
"Shhhhh, Sweetie, you need to..." Another crack of thunder can be heard, drowning out Yeonjuns voice. You whimper and cry as you bury yourself more into Yeonjun.
"Its the thunder, isnt it. Its too loud for you, huh, Sweetheart?"
When you nod, he hugs you tighter. "Come on, Sweetie. Let's go to the living room and watch a movie. That will distract you. You can bring your blanket, and your plushie, and I can get you a drink," he smiles as he talks.
You nod again, "An cuddle? Wanna cuddle wit Junnie!"
"Yeah, Sweetheart. Cuddles." Yeonjun picks you up and carries you to the living room. He hands you the TV remote for you to pick what you wanted to watch. You curl up under your blanket and hug your plushie as Yeonjun comes back into the room. He has your sippy cup in his hand. You cuddle with Yeonjun to watch the movie. You smile, knowing he'll keep you safe from the thunder.

Strawberry Candy
Amidst the heavy weight of adult responsibilities, Beomgyu was struggling. To most, those responsibilities were simple, part of daily life. But Beomgyu had always had a hard time. Admittedly, he leaned for too much on others, wrestling so much with his mental health. Every day was a battle. Yet he plastered on a smile and forced out laughter that was far too loud in order to blend in with society and appear to be a functioning human being. Completely and utterly exhausted from the days job hunting, he’d been teetering all day, the stress tugging at his headspace, begging him to cave. But still he did his best to be a productive adult. For the sake of his loving partner, Yeonjun, who had always taken so much of the burden of supporting them on himself, he had to.
They'd been through their fair share of bad patches together, always coming out again thanks to how hard Yeonjun worked to keep them afloat; taking up a part-time job just to keep up with his dance studio. Students were dropping his class left and right, prioritizing studies as the time of year came to venture to the city once more to attend University. So, of course Beomgyu drowned in guilt each time he felt himself sink into the familiar feeling of his regression. Yeonjun had enough on his plate without a child that needed all his love and attention to deal with. But what could he do?
The only thing he could do was try focus on their grocery list as they did their bi-weekly shopping. The fluorescent lights over every aisle far too bright yet unable to bring any light through the grey, gloomy glasses of which Beomgyu saw the world.
Ramyeon? Check. Beef? Check. Yeonjun silently pushed the cart down each aisle, sporting deep purple circles in the hollows of their eyes that were becoming far too common an appearance. It wasn’t what they want to be doing on Yeonjun’s first day off in weeks, clothes sticking to their skin with sweat from the blistering summer heat, it was all they had the energy for. Sustenance.
A breathy sigh, another all to common occurrence, left Yeonjun’s chapped, pouty lips as his phone rang that obnoxious tone which could only mean another call from his boss.
“This is Yeonjun.”, a bit of life came to his voice as he pushed his sweat damp, blonde hair from his forehead , just enough to sound believable to anyone but the boy next to him who loitered behind, mentally preparing for their bittersweet shopping trip to come to an end. Yeonjun’s part time job had him working full time hours, only calling him when they needed him to come in. And they needed the money. How could Yeonjun say no?
“Yes, sir.”
There it was. Beomgyu felt himself sinking. Physically sinking into the back drop of grey and muted colors, voicing fading in the distance along with the scuffed, squeaky wheels of the battered, blue shopping cart.
A familiar pastel pink caught his eye as he stood in the snack aisle they’d mindlessly wandered into. It wasn’t dull and lifeless as the rest of the world around him seemed to be. The cartoon strawberries and swirls of white cream popped off the packaging of his favorite candy. The colors always caught his attention, matching the clothes he’d often wear at home, small and comfortable.
Mind clouding further the taste tickled his taste bunds, his mouth watering at the sweet nostalgia that Beomgyu knew so well. It’d been a long time since they could afford such a luxury. The pang deep in his heart was difficult to ignore, he’d gotten so used to living paycheck to paycheck and saving every cent to afford their next meal. Even though things had gotten better and Beomgyu had enough in his wallet to buy the candy on his own, he felt mesmerized, wondering if he should ask Appa for his treat. He had been such a good boy, after all.
Looking up from the shiny, pink packaging to the aisle ahead, there was not a single blonde tuft of hair in sight. Beomgyu hadn’t noticed the absence of Yeonjun’s honeyed voice or the un-oiled wheels of the shopping cart squeaking as they rolled, too lost in his head.
Where Appa?? Beomgyu frowned spinning back and forth once then twice, sleeves of his off-white sweater falling over his hands as he lifted one to his mouth, chewing on the cottony corner in worry.
“Appa?”, he whispered, afraid of strangers hearing him while he waddled down the aisle, the dull sound of his sandals slapping on the floor following him. Any thought of his favorite, mouth-watering, sweet treat had drifted to the back of his mind as an uncomfortable tightness began forming in his chest.
Peaking into the next aisle lined with fruit juices, sodas and drinks of all kinds, Beomgyu looked around again for his Appa. He wasn’t there. Nor was he in the aisle after. Heart pounding in his ears, blood pooling in his cheeks as hot tear began pouring from his eyes, Beomgyu sank to the floor in his spot, hugging his knees. He’d never been lost before, all alone. He couldn’t hear anything anymore, suffocating on the THUD THUD of his heart in his ears and his own heavy pants as his lungs fought for oxygen instead of the nearby squeaking of grocery cart wheels.
Breathe for me, baby.
Beomie thought of his Appa’s words, Yeonjun’s voice so gentle and comforting, almost like he was right there with him. Sniffling, he brought himself to his feet and wiped away his tears even though they’d just be replaced by new ones.
He was a smart boy, Appa always told him so. Appa would find him if he stay out like a good boy, wouldn’t he?
Wandering back to his candy, Beomie slid to the floor once again. But patience had never been little Beomie’s strong-suit.
What it Appa wasn’t looking for him? He was hard to take care of wasn’t he? Appa always smiled after calling him a pain, but what if it wasn’t real? What if Appa didn’t love him anymore?
Beomie’s hands flew tight over his ears trying to silence the thoughts in his head. He tried to blink away the tears, but he couldn’t see anything anymore, not the scuffed, white tiles beneath his feet, not his Appa. Appa was gone.
“S-scawed…”, Beomie let out a hushed wail, shrinking into himself, he pulled the sweater of his collar up to his ears, wishing and silently begging to disappear; to be home, in his comfy bed with his fluffy blankies, his Ryan plushies and his Appa.
Yeonjun finally hung up the phone, feeling refreshed by the good news he’d received from his boss. Turning to share the news with his lover, his lips twitched into a smile that fell almost as soon as it came.
“Gyu?”, he called down the aisle, slipping his phone back into his pocket. Now that he really looked, the aisle he was in was unfamiliar. Yeonjun had wandered into the appliance section nearly half way across the store while his boss informed him of his pay raise and apologized over and over for how they’d overworked him on their staff shortage.
With a new carefree attitude he turned the cart around, glancing into each aisle he passed for his cherry-Gyu baby. Nearly passing him, he screeched the cart to a stop, surprised to find his boyfriend curled into himself on the snack aisle floor. Abandoning the cart he took long strides to close the distance between them, fully prepared to scoop him up into his arms until he heard a broken small voice weakly call out, “Appa, come back…p-please.”
That was more than enough to shatter enough anyones heart, breaking it thoroughly, messily, not clean through, painfully. It was as if the beating organ had been ripped from his chest and stabbed, bluntly, just once. Once was enough. Dropping to his knees, he pulled the small boy to his chest. How had he missed the signs? How could he leave him all alone? His fragile boy, clearly bearing so much on his shoulders when they were meant to carry it all together.
“Appa!”, Beomie yelped, a sob tearing through his throat as he clawed and forced himself further into Yeonjun’s chest as if he could merge them into one.
“I’m here. I’m right here, baby bear. Appa’s sorry.”, Yeonjun’s eyes stung, fresh tears wetting his lashes as he squeezed his baby boy.
“Why did you weave me??”, Beomie whimpered, distraught. So much that he refused to lift his head from Yeonjun’s chest.
"Baby boy, I would never leave you. I got distracted. Appa is so so sorry. The moment I turned around to look for you, my baby bear was missing.”, Yeonjun rocked him gently try to soothe his fast-paced breathing and muffed sobs.
“I- I‘m sowwy”, Beomie wiped his snotty nose, sniffling into his sleeve with each hiccupped sob.
“Oh my god, baby. What for?? You have nothing to be sorry for.”, Yeonjun leaned away, lifting his little one’s head to see his rough, tear stained cheeks and reddened eyes and nose.
“Got small-“, Beomie looked down, ashamed of himself,,“s’possed t’be big.”
Sighing, Yeonjun’s eyebrows seemed to permanently knit together in a sorrowful expression, “This is all appas fault, ok? You're a good boy, such a smart boy waiting here for appa. I know this has been so hard on you, baby.”
Taking a deep breath as he calmed, Beomie relaxed into Yeonjun’s warm chest, appreciating the soft thumping of his heart. Giving another squeeze, Yeonjun halted when he heard a crinkling noise.
“What’s this??”, he pulled away again, eyebrow raised. Lowering his knees, Beomie’s eyes crinkled into his usual cheery smile.
“M-my candy”, he giggled, followed by another sniffle, “can I hab it?”
Fighting off a grin at the cute pout and shining boba eyes that looked up at him, Yeonjun raised his left hand to Beomie’s cheek, stroking it’s warm, smooth surface, “Appa will buy you anything you want today, baby. We’re gonna be perfectly okay.”
“Stwawbewy candy??!”, Beomie chirped, hugging the candy to his chest with a wide, toothy smile. The colors of the world much warmer than before, his Appa’s loving glow surrounding him and lifting his woeful heart as it always did.
“Yes, baby. Stwawbewy Candy.”, Yeonjun chuckled helping both of them to their feet so they could fetch their cart and spend the rest of their much needed day off meaningfully together.

soft, safe, warm.
ageretober day 2 ‘fireplace’ ; cg yeonjun, little soobin ; wc 245
soobin is a naturally cold person. during the fall and winter months, he always has a small portable heater running in his room to stay warm. he owns plenty of soft fuzzy oversized hoodies and piles of blankets. he feels so safe and warm when he’s cuddled up inside of them. it’s even better when he’s in his hoodies and under his blankets in his caregiver yeonjun’s arms. yeonjun is a naturally warm person. sleeps with the window open, letting the chilly air cool his flushed cheeks. he wears open tank tops and sleeps with only a thin sheet. soobin prefers yeonjun as his portable heater much more than the one that makes noise and blows all night. yeonjun is quiet, most of the time. he’s warm, all of the time. soobin sits by the fireplace on cold october nights with his hoodie and a blanket wrapped around him. the crackling and the soft amber glow makes soobin just feel so safe and even more smaller. his worried thoughts thin out and he feels a sense of buoyancy. he then feels a pair of strong but gentle toned arms wrap around him, just like his blanket. it’s yeonjun, his daddy. soobin sighs and nibbles on his thumb a bit as he feels so so so warm. the heat of the fire, the warmth of yeonjun, and the plush of his hoodies and blankets are enough to lull him off to sleep like an unsung lullaby.

~
It’s a quiet evening and, as usual, you are in littlespace. For approximately fifty-three minutes you have been resting in your caregiver’s lap, and whilst you would love to wait out the last thirty minutes of your favourite movie, you were feeling restless. Usually when you were little you were quiet and cuddly, but you also loved playing. For the sake of your daddy - who is seemingly very relaxed and was enjoying holding you like a little doll - you’re willing to sit still for the rest of the movie. But, what you forget is, he can read you like a book.
“Baby,” he coos. He wraps his hands around your smaller ones, the sleeves of his black hoodie engulfing them until they entirely disappear into his hold. “is someone getting a little restless?”
You nod, a shy smile pulling at your lips. He giggles, eyes creasing up with fondness.
“That’s okay bun. Wanna do something else?”
You nod again. He flares his nostrils and taps his chin, pulling an overdramatic ‘thinking face’ ; one of Yeonjun’s habits, not only as a caregiver, is to constantly pull the funniest faces imaginable to make you laugh. And laugh you do, eyes sparkling, entertained as always by your silly daddy.
“How about crafts?”
You squeal in response, feverishly nodding your head.
“Let’s go, then princess!”
You blush at the nickname, suddenly remembering that you’re wearing your favourite tiara and your snow white princess dress. Yeonjun scoops you up in his arms and starts walking towards the other end of your spacious living room. Snuggling into his chest and wiggling your feet in the air, you feel so loved and as little as ever as he carries you over to your favourite place in the whole house - your playmat!
Soon after you and Yeonjun moved in together, you worked together to create the perfect playing space in the corner of your living room. The playmat is quite big and is made out of a squishy foam material, with multicoloured jigsaw pieces printed on it for the pattern and a fluffy heart shaped rug in the middle. There are several cushions in yours and Yeonjun’s favourite colours scattered around so that you can always sit comfortably whilst playing. You have a toybox, dress up box, sleeping bag for nap time and even a small, plastic coffee table that you use as your craft table!
Yeonjun gently sets you down on a pink cushion in front of the craft table. He notices that your eyes are glued to your colouring books, so he picks up the one on top of the stack and holds it up.
“What’s this, hm?” When you start giggling in happiness, he can’t help but to start giggling too. “Wanna colour, yeah?”
“Colour! Wanna colour!” you beam, flapping your arms in excitement. Without hesitation, Yeonjun takes a seat next to you, dragging over your case of colouring pencils before getting comfy. He opens the book at a random page, not being shocked when you start to squeal with excitement at the sight of your favourite pony.
“Rarity! It’s Rarity!!”
Whilst exclaiming, you point at the colourless image on the page, hopping up and down in your seat.
“Wanna do your Rarity page?” he asks, and you nod, eyes wide with anticipation, so he sets the book down in front of you. As you colour, he watches you closely, feeling his heart swell. He’s happy to stay like this all day, monitoring how your little hands go to work at your colouring book, passing you a pencil or your juices you wish. Littlespace is not only healing for you, being your caregiver is just as healing for him too. It’s like you enter your own little world and pull him through with you, and he’s honoured to be the one you trust to do this with.
“Dada?” you say, eyes glued to your book.
“Yes, princess?”
“Are my stickers still on the kitchen table?”
Yeonjun thinks for a moment, then remembers how you were scrapbooking this morning.
“Yes, dear. Would you like daddy to go get them for you?”
You shake your head.
“I can go myse-” you start to get up but Yeonjun quickly halts you. He wraps his arms around your waist and pulls you into your chest, laughing when you let out a little squeak.
“I don’t think so, bun.”
“Why? I wanna go…” you mumble, face pressed into Yeonjun’s chest.
“Nuh uh. You’re too little, my love… what if you get hurt?”
His voice is hushed, soft but serious, and his fingers are stroking at the hair framing your face. Even though you don’t understand how you could possibly get hurt by walking into the next room and grabbing your stickers from the table, you don’t want to argue with your daddy. He knows best, after all, and the way he called you gave you butterflies. He knows just how to win you over.
“Okay…” you say. You press a kiss to his hand, almost as a form of apology. When you look up at him, he’s pulling a kissy face, so you follow his sign and give him a peck on his lips. Grinning, he ruffles your hair.
“That’s my good girl. Dada won’t be long okay?”
You nod and climb off his lap, before picking up your purple marker and finishing off filling in Rarity’s tail on your colouring page.
~
About twenty five minutes later, you've coloured in more than three pages and are wondering what you can do next.
Suddenly, as if on cue, you get an idea. You take two of your sticker packs into your hands - one with shiny hearts and smileys and letters, and ones with little pearls and gems. Without a second thought, you peel off a heart sticker and place it on Yeonjun’s cheek. He looks alarmed at first, but his face quickly softens as he realises what you’re doing.
“Oooh, is my baby dressing me up?” he says, voice laced with excitement. After nodding in response, you crawl over to your dress up box and fish out a tiara, one with pretty flowers twisting round the band and a big shimmering love heart crystal in the middle. Yeonjun gasps as you hold it out to him.
“Wow, are you making daddy into a princess?!” He sounds even more excited than before, a big grin on his face. When you nod again, he cheers and takes the tiara from you. Once it’s on he poses, poking his cheeks and pouting, which of course makes you laugh and squeal with glee.
For the next hour or so the two of you play together, decorating the toy box, dress up box, craft table and even yourselves with stickers - your favourite creation being when you spelled out ‘princess + dada’ with stickers in the corner of your table and surrounded it with pretty pink hearts!
As the evening turns into night, your giggles slow into little yawns, and your playfulness turns into sleepiness.
“Getting tired, princess?” your caregiver asks you, placing a hand on your shoulder.
“Mmm,” you whine, and Yeonjun takes that as a yes.
“Let’s get you to bed then, little one.”
And with that, soon enough, both of you are tucked into bed. You’re all snuggled up with your plushies and your daddy, making your way into dreamland.
~
I hope you enjoyed !
