[???] Tell us a story, Mama! [???] Pleeeease? We promise we’ll go to bed right after!  [???] Alright, alright. Settle in, then. Cuddle close. This story... this story doesn’t come from a book. This one is special -- it comes from the heart. 

[???] It is about a princess -- much like you, dear -- who, when she was young, made mistakes. A LOT of them. What they were aren’t important, but they happened because she was blind to a truth she had denied for a long time, which hurt her and many of her friends. After her biggest mistake, the princess promised herself that she would never be like that again, that she would always be honest with the most important person in her life: herself.

[???] Years passed, and the princess kept her promise. As she got older, attended university, and began taking on more responsibilities as the future Queen, the princess became beloved by the people of her kingdom through her honesty, her kindness, and her loyalty to her loved ones. She even fell in love, and the princess felt as though her path in life could not be clearer. 

[???] But the universe has a funny way of working sometimes. Sometimes, people you never thought you would see again come back into your life, along with all the feelings you once associated with them. That is what happened to the princess, one fateful night...

[???] Well, Your Royal Highness? Does it *live up to your lofty expectations in-person?  [Charlotte] I think so. The King *will have to give final approval, but the texture of the raised paint is exquisite. [???] I thought you were in law school, not a graduate curation student. [Charlotte] A girl can have her hobbies, Nathaniel. Even Crown Princesses. 

[Nathaniel] Of course. How could I ever forget that you always find something to fill your free time, which is already on the scant side? [Charlotte] Law school isn’t exactly a cakewalk, Nate. Even for those who’ve been reading the Constitution since they could read.  [Nathaniel] I’m not saying it is. What I am saying is that it’s a miracle I get to see you some days, between your studies and your duties... which is why I like to make the most of when I do get to see you. 

[Charlotte] Speaking of... thank you for taking me to this show, Nathaniel. Peter has been more insufferable than usual, and with Peggy away... [Nathaniel] It’s my pleasure, darling. You wait there -- I��m going to fetch drinks for myself and the priceless work of art beside me. [Charlotte] *rolling her eyes* Nathaniel Knox, what will I do with you--

[???] ... you know I never like doing that. It’s far too presumptuous. What if they aren’t planning on buying anything because they haven’t got the money? Then I look classist and I’ve made a fool of myself in public.  [???] Angie, I love you, but you’ve got to get out of *your own head. They’ve been eyeing that piece for thirty minutes -- they want to buy it. Just go over there and charm them. It worked on me, didn’t it?

[Angie] Yes, but you and I both know that you were after something entirely different. Fine. You win. I’ll be right back. [Charlotte] Andre...?

[Charlotte] Andre Hargrove? [Andre] Yeah--

[Andre] ...Charlotte... [Nathaniel] Lottie! There you are! The line at the bar was almost to the door, so I figured we’d-- Lottie?

[Nathaniel] Are you alright, darling? You look like you’ve seen a ghost. [Charlotte] I’m fine... just tired, that’s all. Can you take me home? I’ll make a call about reserving a piece in the morning.  [Nathaniel] Of course, my love. Shall we? 

[Angie] Good news! They’re buying the piece - you were right, yes, okay, no need to-- why aren’t you gloating? Hello? Earth to Andre? [Andre] Look there. Redhead in the green dress. [Angie] ...wait, is that...? [Andre] I’d know that face anywhere. Not just because she’s in the newspaper once a week. 

[Angie] You’d think I’d know if the Crown Princess walked into my gallery... there’s no security detail. [Andre] Probably incognito. They’re always there. [Angie] ...how long has it been? Not since... her birthday senior year, right? [Andre] The Carmicheals always knew how to throw one hell of a party. A shame it turned into a living hell for everyone there. [Angie] Six years... wow...

[???] The last time the princess had seen her friend, she had treated him terribly. They were both young then, but the way she had treated him, in her mind, had been inexcusable. Since then, they had both grown up, and while she had thought he would forget about her... she had never forgot about him. Now that she had seen him again, she was desperate to tell him how sorry she was, to know him as he was now... but how to do that without bringing up their past together? 

[???] More importantly, how could she do that without harming the person she was in love with? The greatest thing in this world, children, is loving someone and being loved in return. The princess had that. So did her old friend. And so, the princess walked away, as impossible as it was for her to do. 

[Nathaniel] Did you know that man back there, with the gallery owner? [Charlotte] I knew someone like him, once. But I don’t think it’s the same person. A trick of the light, that’s all. 

[Angie] Just think... the Crown Princess, buying from my gallery! [Andre] Seems to be your lucky night, babe.  [Angie] All thanks to you, future husband. I love you. [Andre] I love you more, Angelica Abbott.

Hi!!! Sorry for the late replies! I'm not really sure what Miss @carmichealroyals & Miss @houseofcameliard had planned for them bcs for Fintan and Cami, I gave them all the freedom to do what they want 😭But the basics that I know is that Belle and Niamh always had playdates for them and they always go on family vacations together. So I assumed that their relationship will develop from being childhood friends to lovers as they grow up 🥺

The Debutante Ball, held in honor of Grand Duchess Maria, began tonight in the newly re-opened Simvadia Palace. The Grand Duchess led the ball as she danced with her betrothed, the Young Count Dimitri Leva. Behind them were HRH Indirah, Princess Royal and HRH Prince Peter; HRH Crown Princess Emilia and HIH Grand Duke Yuri: and HRH Crown Princess Charlotte and HIH Grand Duke Andrey.

[Charlotte] I can’t believe how fast this trip has gone. You’re all training home, yeah? [Eleanor] Not me -- Mum has arranged for the plane to grab me when we get back to Winterven tomorrow. [Emilia] Thank you for the invitation, Charlotte. This really was a lot of fun! [Charlotte] Even with my brother mooning over you every chance he gets?

[Lina] Come on Lottie, it’s adorable. Clearly it’s his first crush. He’s harmless. [Charlotte] I know your experience with little brothers is skewed because Rhys is a little cherub, but Peter is not harmless. As kids, he was always jealous of what I had, even if it was as simple as more chocolate sauce on a ice cream sundae.

[Emilia] Really? Peter has a crush on me? How come none of you told me? [Clem] Not the point. You’re going to have to patch this up eventually, Charlotte. [Charlotte] And why should I? He’s clearly not going to change. He practically blackmailed me into letting him come on this trip. He’s a petty child on a power trip.

[Eleanor] Speaking as someone with experience, maybe he just feels left out. He is the only boy, and he’s technically the spare. Maybe he needs more one-on-one time. [Charlotte] More? He’s never been bad at making sure he’s the center of attention. If it were up to him, he’d be first in line, not me. He’s even said it to my face!

[Emilia] What?! [Clem] Where does he get off?! [Lina] No, he didn’t! [Elearnor] You’re kidding! [Charlotte] Girls, girls, it’s okay! It’s not like I was offended. More so surprised that he had the guts to say it to my face. Clem, Lina, you should see if Gideon’s available. I’m sure Peter would just love a master class in being a bastard. [Clem] I’d rather freeze at the top of the mountain than put you through that!

[Charlotte] I’m serious! They’re already so similar, but Peter lacks tact, finesse, that... killer instinct. Those two would get on like a house on fire. [Lina] *laughing* Yeah, and probably burn the house down in the process!

[Emilia] *laughing* He could make it a whole course! “How To Annoy Princesses 101” -- I can pass the word on to Theo and Alexander, I’m sure they’d get top marks! [Charlotte] Perfect! The more the merrier - they can swap tips! [Clem] I’ll see if I can convince Mom to sign Rhys up. Y’know, start em young and all.

[Eleanor] It’s too bad Edmond and Chris don’t qualify. They’d learn so much! [Clem] It’d be stiff competition, that’s for sure. Gideon’s the perfect teacher. [Lina] It might give him something actually useful to do for once in his life. [Charlotte] If it gets Peter far away from me, I’ll pay the entry fee myself!

KING WILLIAM, QUEEN MARIA THERESA, AND THE ROYAL CHILDREN BEGIN VISIT TO KRASNOYARSK

“Dad,” Charlotte asked. She was trying very, very hard to be discreet. “They are mama’s cousins? All of them?”

William smiled. “No, dear,” He said. “Your Uncle Edward, Aunt Margot, and Uncle David are her cousins. Uncle George is her uncle- your grandfather’s brother, and Auntie Margaret-“

His sentence was ended by his wife flying by him, and into the arms of her cousin, Grand Duchess Margot. There had never been a happier pair to be reunited.

Behind Margot, the Shakhovskoys were grouped together. Maria held her cousin Yuri on her shoulders. “I still can’t see them, Maria!”

“Squint, then,” Maria scolded. “They’re my godparents. I should be the first to see them anyway.”

“Look alive!” Their uncle, David, looked told his nephew, Andrey. “You’d do well to make friends with their lot. Good people, the Carmichaels.”

“Are they our sort of people, though?” Maria asked with a frown.

“Now you’re being snobbish,” David scolded. Maria’s father, the Tsarevich, was too enraptured in the Tsaraevna to quite notice. “They’re royalty, niece. Monarchs, actually. With higher ranking than you. Be polite.”

Maria huffed, and adjusted Yuri on her shoulders. Higher ranking than me, Maria scowled. As if they could dream of it!

The Wedding Service Begins! 

Shortly after the King walked his youngest daughter up the aisle (and shed a few tears along the way), Princess Claire joined her soon-to-be husband at the altar, where their bridesmaids and groomsmen waited patiently. 

Once she had reached her groom, several members of the press and those at home watching, noticed that the Duke of Asbury appeared to whisper to his blushing bride, “You look gorgeous.” 

Holding hands, the couple barely took their eyes off of each other as The Honorable Reverend Percival Grant welcomed those gathered and began the service. 

When it came time for their vows, the couple promised to love, support, and care for each other for the rest of their lives, before exchanging rings. 

Once that the Reverend had announced the couple were finally husband and wife after nearly 7 years, an enormous roar went up from the church from the assembled guests and the bridal party as the couple shared their first kiss as a married couple. 

After they kissed, as is tradition, the new Duke and Duchess of Asbury showed their respect to the King and Queen before leaving the church.
