It’s that time of the year once more. The Hellfire Gala is upon us and we are elated to welcome humans, mutants and all others to Mykines Island to celebrate the partnership between humans and mutants. This year, we’ll be honoring those who benefit from our medicines and petals. Of course, I’d be remiss if I did not mention the recent bombshell that Cyclops so lovingly blew up in our faces regarding the secrets of mutant resurrections. We expect people to attempt to crash the Gala in an attempt to prove a point, and as a result the Five have been prohibited from attending. They are to stay in the Healing Gardens with a chaperone at all times.

Like last year, I must thank you and X-Force the services you’ll provide to keep the event safe and secure. Unlike last year, however, I request that you do not let anyone get murdered again. What happened with Wanda Maximoff cannot be repeated. Keeping that in mind, please reach out telepathically if there is an EMERGENCY of any sort. Both myself and the Cuckoo’s will be keeping our minds tuned in.

In the meanwhile, I have attached the guest list below. Please do not let ANYONE in who is not on the list. There is one exception: foreign diplomats and politicians were sent over separately for security purposes.

Cho-Hee stepped into Carol's room, he seemed noticeably tired with his hair being a mess. She sat in bed, looking up from the book she was reading with her usual warm smile.

"Cho-Hee, Im glad to see you-" she cut herself off, seeing just how tired he was. "... Is everything okay?..."

He practically flopped next to her, wrapping his arms around her. Carol was caught off guard by it, but she welcomed the embrace anyway.

"... What are you doing?" She asked, feeling him nuzzle into her.

He didn't answer, its clear he doesn't want to talk about the issue just yet... He found comfort in her sweet apple scent, to him, she was his safety blanket. Despite Cho-Hee keeping the bothersome students away from Carol at times, she made him feel safe, she made all of the negative thoughts in his head vanish into thin air, she made him feel like everything was going to be okay...

She quickly realizes that he doesn't seem to want to answer the question yet, it was no issue of course, there was always later. She gingerly ran her fingers through his dark hair, feeling him lean into her touch with a deep exhale, he seemed to enjoy it.

After a moment of silence, he finally spoke up. However, he was quiet, as if raising his tone would shatter her.

"... I... Couldn't sleep..." He murmured. "... I kept having nightmares that you'd just... Leave me..."

Her look softened, pulling back a bit to cup his cheek in her hand. As she looked at his scarred face, she could see his tired yet sad eyes...

"Sweetheart..." Carol said as she caressed his cheek. "I'd never do that to you..."

He leaned into her hand like a attention starved cat, gently squeezing her a bit, he stayed quiet as he held her close.

"... I... I know that..." He muttered, closing his eyes with a sigh before opening them to face her. "... I just can't help but think... What if-"

She softly placed a finger over his lips to stop him.

"There is no "what if", sweetie... No one's better for me than you and I've said it before and I'll say it again..." She spoke in a firm yet gentle tone. "Your scars don't bother me."

He was quiet again, he just couldn't find the words to answer...

He moved from her hands to nuzzle into her again in an attempt to hide his face from her. Carol softly sighed as she ran her fingers through his hair before setting down the book she was reading to the side and wrapping her arms around him.

"... I mean it, really... I love you and nothing's going to change that..."

It was just the reassurance he needed as he gently squeezed her more. He was going to be cuddling her for quite a while, but Carol didn't mind, snuggling up to him back.

Cho-Hee was having a particularly bad day, staring at some of the scars that covered him from head to toe...

He wishes he didn't have them sometimes, but he'd rather have the dog attack him than his sister. Sometimes he wonders if people would be less intimidated by him without them...

To him, they are ugly, something that he'd rather hide away from the world, but it's an impossible task since they're all over him. On his face, his chest, his arms, his legs... He hated it...

Carol walks in on him as he's sulking in the gardens, he'd always go there if he didn't want to be seen by anyone...

"Cho-Hee, there you are! I was worried you-..." She paused for a moment "... Are you alright?..."

"U-Um..." Cho-Hee sighed, deciding to be honest with Carol "... Not... Exactly... I just think that maybe if I didn't have them, I could-"

"Cho-Hee..." Carol cuts him off mid-talk with a firm yet caring tone, her soft hands gently holding his cheeks as she makes him look her in the eye. "They don't deserve you if they're so easily scared off by how you look... I know you're one of the kindest people out there, sweetheart. If they're too scared to get close to you, that's their problem because they're really missing out..."

As Carol finished her words with a smile, Cho-hee leaned into her hands with teary eyes. "Do you... Really... Think so?..." He asked her.

"I know so." She answered, letting him pull her close to cry into her for a moment.

🤝😟 Hand + Worried

Mellow was just patching up Momo after what appeared to be an argument, she seemed insistent on keeping what happened a secret, rising some suspicion from Mellow...

"Y-You know... I can f-fix you up better in my d-dorm..." Mellow says, as he puts the last finishing touches.

"NO!" Momo jolted "U-Um!... N-No thank you, M-Mellow... Um... I-I think it's b-better I... D-Don't do that..."

"A-Are you sure? You seem pretty hurt and-"

"O-Oh! U-Um! L-Look at the t-t-time! I-I th-think my c-classes should be st-tarting soon! I-I'll see you l-later!" Momo nervously tried to slip away from the conversation...

"Momo, wait!" Mellow swiftly grabs her hand, a look of worry on his face.

Momo squeaks and turns to look at him, feeling very nervous.

"I-I don't know who the h-hell did this to you or if th-they're gonna do it again while you're w-walking down the h-halls or s-something like that" There seems to be genuine concern in his voice.

Momo feels upset that she has to hide this from him, but she'd rather go through it all again than risk Mellow getting hurt...

"I-I'm... I'm ok-kay... R-Really..." He struggles not to cry in front of Mellow.

"Momo... You know if something's wrong you can t-tell me..."

But Momo didn't want to tell him, Dallas already made it clear that there will be consequences... It was all because Dallas was jealous that Momo was starting to be friends with more people, after all, lots of people think Momo's cute in a way.

Dallas couldn't stand it, so he had resorted to violently picking on her, asking him what he'd do if it was someone else doing it to them. He called them weak, pathetic, hopeless...

Now she kind of feels like she's proving his point, but again, she'd rather not risk Mellow.

"Momo, please... If you c-can't tell me what's g-going on... At l-least let me p-properly t-take care of y-you..." Mellow pleaded.

"... U-Um-... I-I... Uh..." Momo was running out of excuses to leave the conversation.

"P-Please?..." He asked, a bit of hurt in his voice.

Momo seems very reluctant... She sighs, gently squeezing his hand "... O-Oh... O-Ok-kay... B-But only if you're th-there..."

"Thank you..." Mellow seemed a bit relieved as he quickly walks away with Momo.

Unbeknownst to them, someone was watching and he hated every second of it...

Cho-Hee x Carol ❤️‍🩹 (heal from a previous illness/condition)

Carol called in Cho-Hee to her room, claiming to have a surprise for him, she had been secretly practicing a spell to help him with his scars, since she knows he feels very insecure about them.

He eyed her curiously as she took his hands in hers to start the spell, her soft hands excitedly holding his much bigger ones.

"Carol... What are you doing?..." He hesitantly asked.

"Don't worry... Look, just trust me, okay?" Carol replies, trying to convince him to go through with it.

Cho-Hee seems a bit wary but sighs "... Okay then... But if anything bad happens-"

"It won't, I promise!" Carol assured him as she started the spell.

Within moments, Cho-Hee stared in utter awe and surprise as his life-long scars started fading under the spell. Scars that have haunted him for his whole life just vanishing in seconds, it was unbelievable.

Once the spell was done, Carol slowly let go of his hands, she was relieved it seemed to work.

"What do you think, dear?" Carol asked, a warm smile on her face as she beamed up at him.

He still seemed to be processing, even standing up to look in the mirror, seeing his un-scarred face... Carol grew concerned at the tears welling up in his eyes, gently putting a hand on him.

"Dear?... Is everything alright?... I thought you said-"

Carol doesn't get to finish the thought as he tightly hugged her, practically sobbing into her, he was ecstatic to no longer see the scars that haunted him for so long, to finally look like someone "normal"

"... Th-Thank you... Thank you s-so much..." It was clear he wouldn't stop crying anytime soon.

Carol, of course, didn't mind that as she held him close and let him happily cry into her. She was glad to make him so happy...

"Ch-Charlene, dear... C-Can I ask you something?..." Fabio shyly asked, seated in a chair that she made just for him.

She gave him a warm smile as her ear flicked. "Of course, beloved, you can always ask me anything"

"... W-Would it be bad to ask you to drink a... A truth potion?..." He nervously asked her.

Charlene paused at the question for a moment.

"... Excuse me?" She was more perplexed by the question rather than upset.

"Y-You don't have to if you don't w-want to b-but-"

"Do you not trust me?..." Charlene feigned a look of hurt as her ears went down.

"O-Of course I t-trust you!" Fabio panicked "I-I didn't mean to hurt your f-feelings, I-I'm so sorry, I-!"

"No no, I jest..." Charlene explained, her ears perking up again. "I apologize for making you worry... Although, I do question what prompted the suggestion"

"I-I just... Um..." Fabio sighed in defeat. "... I w-want to know what you really want..."

Charlene's eyes glowed a bright red for a brief moment, filled with intrigue "Oh? How interesting... Do you happen to have this potion with you?..."

Fabio nervously nodded and pulled out the small potion bottle... Well, at least it was small compared to him-

Charlene gingerly took the bottle from Fabio's hands, gently opening it.

"I hope with this, you can rest easy that my answers will be truthful, I have nothing to hide" She smiles warmly before drinking the potion.

Fabio nervously tapped his foot as she set the empty bottle aside, shaking her head from the odd taste.

"... Very well then... Ask away" She looked up at him, ears perked up attentively.

But first, he wanted to know if the potion actually makes her tell the truth or if it could've possibly backfired and had the opposite effect...

"... What... What do you think of me?..." He hesitantly asked.

"I think that, in spite of your flaws, you are an absolutely wonderful person to be around. I enjoy spending my time with you. You're very loving, respectful, kind and I really do hope to support you in any way I can. I love you with all my heart, dearest." Charlene's ears perked up at her own words before softly smiling, it seems that even though the potion makes her say it, she really does mean it.

Fabio could feel his cheeks grow red as his own ears perk up and his tail wags.

"... Wh-What do you want me to d-do?... I-I... I want to be the b-best boyfriend possible for y-you..." Fabio shyly admitted.

"I believe you're doing quite well as a partner on your own, however, I do wish you'd stop hiding away from me when I make you flustered. I don't really mind your flaws too much since they're a part of you and I love you very much" Charlene's tail wags as her ear flicks "I want you to feel confident in sharing your thoughts and feelings with me, I want to make you feel safe, so please, don't shy away from me..."

"Ch-Charlene..." Fabio studdere... The urge to hide in a bush from his flustered expression was strong, but now's not the appropriate time...

"Although, I also wouldn't mind doing-"

Fabio stared in a mix of shock and horror at the shameless oversharing on Charlene's behalf of such adult subject matters... It seems maybe this potion worked a little too well...

I was a bit confused and caught off guard at the entire prompt list being sent for a few seconds lol- aownwosnwosn-

🕯️Have a "No-Electricity" date night (Carol x Cho-Hee)

Carol and Cho-Hee were spending some time, chatting in his room when suddenly, the lights when out mid-conversation. Shrouded in darkness, they both seem confused.

"Wh-... Did rhe lights just go out?..." Cho-Hee asked as Carol flicks a switch.

"... Yeah, looks like it... " She answers.

"Hm... Its rather late for you to go back to your dorm by yourself... But... You can stay with me for the time being" Cho-Hee suggested, definitely not trying to find an excuse for her to stay.

"Cho, you dont have to do that..." Carol responded "At least let me do something nice for you... Maybe I can try to cook-"

"No!" Cho-Hee interjects before nervously going on. "I-I mean um... N-No, Carol, you dont have to do that... I can handle cooking instead, although maybe you can help me turn on some candles... I-if you dont mind, p-please"

"I understand, I'm more than glad to assist you, Cho-Hee" Carol warmly smiled at him.

Cho-Hee cooked for the two of them once Carol lit up some candles for the kitchen, their glow softly lighting up the place from the darkness.

Once he's done, he sits with Carol at the table, the candles setting the romantic mood as they both enjoy a nice dinner together.

"Thank you, sweetie, but you really didn't have to" Carol started "It tastes absolutely amazing" She pushed her glasses up a bit before she warmly smiled at him.

The darkness would've hidden Cho-Hee's flustered face if it weren't for the soft candle light. "I-I... I know... But I wanted to... And I appreciate the compliments, dear" He answers, giving a shy smile back.

🍪Have some hot cocoa and cookies (Tiam x Marinus)

Marinus was once again hoarding all the blankets he could get his clawed hands on due to the cold, he didn't do it by himself this time however, keeping a very flustered Tiam in the blanket swarm with him.

Marinus held his cup of hot chocolate in both hands, a content smile on his face as Tiam's cup and the remaining cookies rest on the table in front of them. Originally, Tiam was supposed to just come to get his coat back, but it ended up with him being "trapped" by Marinus in a blanket swarm, snuggled up together while watching a movie with some hot chocolate and cookies from Mary.

"... P-Precious, I have to go back to my dorm s-soon" Tiam explained, as red as a beet.

"... Nooooooo..." Marinus complained, leaning into him more.

Tiam lets out a quiet squeak as he grows more red, he could probably pass out anytime soon.

"I... I want you to stay with meeeeee..." Marinus complained more.

"B-But my dorm leader- Mph-!" Tiam's cut off by Marinus shoving a cookie in his mouth.

Amos rested his head on Mythra's lap as they sat by the warmth of the fireplace. He purrs quite loudly with his fluffy tail curled at his side, but he hasn't touched a single bit of his plate, yet despite that he still seems content.

Upon noticing however, Mythra immediately stopped petting hid head and scratching his ears, watching Amos' ears perk up with a small trill.

"... Darling?" He asked her "... Is something the matter?"

"You haven't had a bite of your plate, darling..." Mythra answers, her voice laced with a bit of concern.

"Ah, that... Don't worry, I'm perfectly fine, Mythra" Amos tried to reassure her, but it didn't seem to convince her.

"Nonsense..." She says, lifting up Amos from her lap.

"Ah-... You're pushing me off?" He says, pulling out the puppy eyes as his ears droop down, trying to beg his way back into her lap. It wasn't going to work with Mythra though.

"I didn't push you, darling, I don't want you skipping meals again" She says, taking the plate and grabbing a spoonful with one hand, using the other to cup his face and make him look at her. "Now open up like a good boy~"

Amos felt a shiver up his spine, his cheeks growing flushed as she purred out her words.

"Y-Yes, darling..." His tail fluffs up a bit and curls as he lets Mythra spoon-feed him, filled with pure bliss.

He let her keep going until he was finished, as Mythra gives a sly smile.

"Isn't that much better, darling?" She asks, knowing he was enjoying himself, she enjoyed watching him just absolutely melt like putty in her hands "You've been such a good boy, darling~"

Amos had a lovestruck look on his face as he purrs. "... I'm... I'm your good boy, darling dearest~" He says as he once again returns to her lap, enjoying her soft hands on his head once more.

Although RSA wasn’t so welcome at the harvest festival, Mythra was glad to see Amos as guest her school for once... as she saw him wait at one of the food stalls she smiled and tried to tap his shoulder.

“Hello darling, I wondered where you were.”

Looking at her he took his arm and wrapped it around hers to pull her close.

“I was just figuring out where to eat but I am still choosing could you help me, dear?”

“That is why excactly I was looking for you... the headmistress is not kind to RSA students so she would mislead you to the bad cooks, but I know the two who make the best... god tier level.. so I wanted to pick you up but also.”

She kissed his cheek and left a bit of lipstick there...

He grew pretty red but then nodded. “Then I trust you to guide me... “

She walked him over to where Aiden was cooking and smirked....

Given how proud and close she was he was still red finding some glares by other people around him staring at them but how Mythra was he was distracted enough by her affections... just waiting for his food to arrive while she still continued to tease him.

Similarly NRC was invited like any other school to the Harvest festival of HSA however... this also meant for Carol major stress... having her three bothers to hide from... eventually it got crowdy and she ran into Barry who was the least problem out of these three and althought she had no problem ignoring him, him being there let Yasuno to that same point too... making it hard for her to escape or just leave...

She walked behind him and gripped his back firmly to hide... both still a little redfaced as they walked through the crowd untill both finally found a seat at one of the food stands...

Kayne looked at the both of them and started to prepare some food.

“Phew I am just glad Yasuno didn’t go for the chase. Thank you a lot... do you mind If I stick close to you today.... I feel safer with you around."

"It's fine..."

She gave him a warm smile which made him shortly avoid eye contact... at least untill he noticed she still hadn't let go off his hand. As he noticed she was a little red as well.

"I will soon let go... just a little. To calm myself. "

He nodded unsure why she insisted but at least she had her usual smile again. Not as strained as her face was before.

Somewhat feeling her soft hand in his was calming to him as well. So he kept that way untill the food arrived.

She sat down back on the bed and seemed to well up again, as he sat next to her and pulled her close into a hug... it was enough for her to feel a little better...

Both layed down and she clinged closer to him, letting some of her tears accidentally onto his clothes and trying to let it all out untill she stopped after a while, just enjoying being in his arms and her heartbeat going faster...

“I am... glad you found me today... I guess next time... I should be more open about my worries... its like you are always my guardian angel... keeping me save from annoyances and bad thoughts. Thank you.”

She leaned to him and gave him a small kiss on the cheek... getting him flustered.

Mellow was just constantly on edge... Leroy was always in his nape telling him how now that he has a partner he should at least stop being so shy about being close to her... so on that day he was in the park with Momo looking at some flowers... however he got nervous each time he tried to intitiate some handholding or anything.... he always withdrew before he could do it, face as red as his hair and nervous...

Later as they looked at the roses however... he mustered up some courage.

Both grew bright red as Mellow slowly led his hand with hers... both looking at each other nervous during before calming.

Mythra was just staying over at RSA.... mainly cause previously she had a little catfight with Francine as she just wanted to threat Barry to stay away from Sindren. She sighed and sat down next to Amos still a bit on edge.

“Do you believe them... they hurt my precious Sinny and then act like they are innocent. I swear the next time I meet that Icy Bitch I will...”

Before she could get angrier however she noticed him braiding her hair together smiling. Amos spoke up.

“Mythra, although I love the passion and fire inside you, leave that for the next dance competition to beat her. How about I try some things with your hair to distract you.”

“Well my darling, do far its working, I am interested in what you are doing when its done.”

She let him finish the braids and laughed looking in the mirror.

“I look too innocent for who I am... its kinda funny.”

Standing up she placed a kiss on his lips and smiled.

“I will keep it for now... at least untill I am on my way back to my school. Thanks for calming me Darling.”

“So then, how about we concentrate on some time together, Mythra.”

“I would love that, lead the way.”

She sticked pretty close to him, still trying to tease him a little, as she followed him back to his room.

Mythra was pretty nervous... after all this dance competion was one of the fiercest yet and she wanted to win the prize money so bad to help her parents. She looked at herself in her dress, the usual confidence and power was somewhat gone as she saw the last pairs performance and she took a deep breath, as Amos put a hand on her shoulder, who was also in his dance outfit and there to be her partner during this.

“You’re going to be alright, Mythra... you did  this dance a thousand times... you performed it untill the late night... I will be there to support you and we will do this together.”

Hearing these words from his she turned around and kissed his cheek.

“I do know darling... but this fear of Failure will always be present.”

He layed an arm around her.

“You can always rely on me to catch your fall.”

This was all she needed to get more calm and get ready for the dance. Eventually she stepped with him on to the stage and many who watched the show were captivated... the sheer technique as well as the chemistry between the pair drew people in...

After the dance was done, Mythra had a sigh of relief as a dance colleague approached her.

“Hey your new partner is way better... looked much better with you than this horned guy.”

Amos was confused. “Horned guy?”

Mythra chuckled. “Julian... he tried his best to keep up as my dance partner before but... yeah we both are simply not vibing.”

A gong signaled the Jury making their decision and seeing it... Mythra lept into Amos arms in happiness... they have won and she was finally one step closer to pay the debts of her parents... as well as inviting him to a good night to celebrate.

As classes was over and Carol was just on her way to return some books to the library... some troublesome  students got in her way of things. Or moreso tried to flirt with her a little pushy.

“Hey we could help carry your books, little miss, maybe after your work you have time for us?”

“No thank you... I am find with carrying these myself.”

She felt a bit annoyed by their advances however eventually a tall shadow appeared behind her which made them look frightened and as they quickly scattered she turned her head to see Cho-hee and greeted him with a smile.

He looked down at her a bit more calmer and red.

“I just.. saw them bother you.”

He took a bit of her books and then walked with her to the library.

“You know Cho-hee... you make me feel safe.”

He grew a bit more red hearing her say this cause he didn’t expect it.

“Why do you say that?”

“I guess... its cause although I find it sad people avoid you, I just like being near you and it feels like the usual bothers all bother me less when you are there... like my own little safespace where I can rest my brain and just chat with you a little. I know its a weird way to put it.”

They arrived at the library as she put the books down where they belong and then went back to him.

“Carol... I am also pretty glad you are not afraid of me?”

“Why would I? People are just way to judgemental with first impressions at times... but maybe they just don’t get what makes you a person dear to me.”

She showed him a little smile and placed a kiss on his cheek.

“So do you have a little more time for me to share some food together?”

He nodded and left off with her.
