So like another reason the whole ‘No one wants to work anymore’ phrase bothers me is because a lot of people are working, they’re just working for themselves. 

There are so many artists, writers, musicians and other creative people who have decided to make their art their business.  There is a TikToker named caryscuttlefish who made a TikTok about how, since she is an indie artist, she has to price her work at a fair price because there is so much stuff she has to pay for and also she has kitties and husband to feed.  She also shows her followers how she runs a business too. Basically, people like her are able to create what they want, sell it and be their own boss. It’s hard work but it’s doable.

A lot of people are being their own bosses and running their own businesses so they don’t have to deal with crappy bosses, crappy hours, crappy pay and more. And I don’t blame them.

Cary is one of my favourite artists on instagram! I love seeing her adorable little cuties, and I really want to save up to buy one of her little babies. I love the tentacle ones the best. She paints them such beautiful colours and always has these pretty eyes and gems.. Squeeaaal

I sat for 2 hours trying to draw and couldn't get anywhere. But I just bought some posca pens for the first time and decided to try them out. It's just a quick doodle on paper that is NOT made for this medium but it was fun to experiment with!
