"dada! dada!" you heard me shout you from outside and knew instantly what was wrong. "hey little one. you feeling smaller than usual?" you say as you make your way over to me in the sandpit. I nod, not wanting to use my big girl voice. I make grabby hands and you pick me up, slotting me on your hip and you carry me back inside. "would you like your baba, baby?"
