new oc, leader of some sort of prosthetics development department for a catastrophe lab. I think he stuffs the consciousnesses of his dying coworkers into digital appliances in the hopes of keeping them alive til better days come along… But maybe he should just let them die.

Enter my oc Misken; the good Dr Tassie Molotova removed all his internals and replaced em with battery packs. She leaves them charged just enough to get a rise out of him trying to escape - only for him to collapse 3 feet from the door, against his own volition. Body shutting down around him, he can’t understand why. He’s slept, eaten, he’s in prime physical condition - why can’t he STAND - ?!

BROOOOOOOOOOOOO THE IDEA OF DAMAGING YOUR WHUMPEE'S LEGS ENOUGH THAT THEY CANT RUN OR WALK SUPER LONG DISTANCES IS SO GOOD!!!!!!!! BC WHUMPER CAN JUST LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN AND WHUMPEE KNOWS BETTER THAN TO TRY TO RUN, their legs can't carry them far enough to reach safety, the only thing they would get out of "running away" is the punishment that follows!

I also just love the idea of a whumpee not being able to stand for long periods of time either! And most of the time when whumpee does walk somewhere, it's either with the help of whumper, or they keep tripping and falling and running out of energy while traveling.

Oc-tober day 1- current favorite oc

Pretend that I uploaded this yesterday and that I didn’t rush to draw. Couldn’t do it because I had a really busy day. So I’m gonna attempt to do this challenge I found on artfol by an artist called casecoded.

Anyways Smoothie is still my favorite oc of mine. The funny thing is that when I first made them they were one of the first splatoon ocs I made and was just a side character and looked way different than they do now. And then I focused on them a lot more because of other characters I made and how they interact with them and it kind of snowballed from there. I think it’s because of how much I worked on them and I really like their story and also love how complex they are as a character. I’m not like 100% satisfied with their design but idk what I would change about them just yet.

While searching a forest for the legendary Bigfoot, teenager Owen Jameson encounters a ‘meshing place’ - a place where our world and another are entangled with each other. Here Owen falls into this ‘other world’ - known as the Boundary - and finds himself lost within an endless labyrinthine structure of offices, malls, and hallways that seem eerily familiar. Along his travels he encounters Elsie, a strangely altered child who fell into the Boundary nearly forty years before him. Together they search for the way out… if one even exists.
