This is a gift I made for my childhood friend who commissioned me the Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus doll. She gifted me a TON of yarns and threads she wouldn't use anymore and I was so overwhelmed I had to make something to her. I made her three pet cats (Eduardo, Mew and Sargeras) in this lovely loaf shape. So simple and so adorable, I'm glad she loved it! Pattern by ETM's Studio

I'll work on adapting the pattern accordingly and then decide where to go next with it. When I'm satisfied with the pattern, I'm gonna start looking for testers.

Learned a new stitch for this creation and was struggling so hard to figure it out after working in the round on amigurumi while learning. But I’m so happy with how this lil guy came out and I really want to make a pumpkin patch of them for the fall this year 🎃

Step one of making this cat

So I've got two different head shapes, two different torso shapes, two different leg poses... I'm thinking I should include an option for smaller or larger ears too.

The testing phase of the cat pattern(s) is going to be a LOT. I don't know why I feel the need to be so thorough and varied here lol

Another thought I'm having is that it might be fun to have a page somewhere with just the head patterns for free.

I crocheted a little @falsesymmetry doll! I made the Empires outfit first because I didn't have red for the other shirt, but I just picked up the red so I'm going to get that done here soon too.

The patterns for the base doll, shirt, pants, and shoes are from Crochet You! by Nathalie Amiel, though I did modify the patterns for the shirt and pants a little bit to get the buttonup and suspenders to look right. The elytra and goggles I freehanded myself!

I actually chose to make this doll after I'd made that elytra; I was randomly struck with the urge to figure out how to make an elytra that this doll pattern could wear, and when I'd figured it out and got it looking right, I just knew I had to make a doll that would have a reason to wear it, and False Symmetry was the first one to come to mind for it. I'll probably finish the hermitcraft outfit for her today or tomorrow, and I'll post it when I'm done!
