Hello, I'm wondering if there are any fic recommendations were when Dream and George start dating and Dream gets shy when it comes to physical touch, like he's clingy but hesitant to hug George from behind or give him kisses even if only on the cheek, he still does it, but he's nervous about it so George kind of leads the touches most of the time and every time Dream's brain just turns into mush and he melts against him every time like the lovesick fool he is.

To make a long story short Dream is so smitten that he is shy about it when it comes to touch, sorry if this ask is kind of nonsensical.

George, as a cat hybrid, loved the attention; that is in their biology. But showing affection through touch and sometimes even in front of Sapnap was new. People expect such behavior from dog hybrids or canines in general. Dream, in contrast with Sapnap, respected everyone's personal space. Sometimes it would seem as if he is avoiding touch at every cost.

George is surprisingly a touchy catboy and Dream is ignoring the obvious feelings.

Hecate's Little Demon

This fic was inspired by a tweet prompt. Essentially to do Cat hybrid GNF, human Dream, enemies to lovers + roommates.

Sapnap's date won't go out unless he also gets a date for his friend George. When Sapnap's first choice cancels he bribes Dream to come along.

It's fine until Dream meets his “date” George, a cat hybrid with an attitude. The guy is intolerable, nothing short of hostile.

But Dream survives the terrible “date”. Only for Sapnap to reveal at the end of the night that he and George got to talking and George wants to rent their spare bedroom.

Turns out it's hell to be roommates with someone who hates you and who you cannot stand. But a few arguments taken too far, and some disastrous dates reveal a more vulnerable side to George that maybe isn't so bad.

Or Taming of the Shrew retelling but it's with cat-boy GNF instead.

I just finished your Space AU kitty fic and I am in LOVE!! I really loved the concept and the characters and everything was just "chefs kiss*! Also I am BEGGING you two write a second part, I need to know what their future looks like, how other people react (how Patches reacts!!!) and what they settle on for the three months when they are not on the ship 👀

Outer Space/Hybrid Species AU - DNF

"Dream," George whined, head butting his forehead against the side of Dream's neck. "I just want to sleep. Please pet me until I fall asleep."

George felt the way Dream's breathing increased and his body temperature rose. The breathing thing was a bit annoying, since it moved George, but the added warmth was more than welcomed.

"Okay... okay, I'll pet you," Dream finally agreed, maneuvering the both of them until he could lay back in bed, holding George tightly to his chest. He hadn't even resumed petting him before George started purring happily again, his tail curling around one of Dream's legs in the process.

"Humans are... really warm, just like starlight," George mumbled, his thoughts escaping him.

"George-" Dream paused, tangling his fingers in George's hair. "Just go to sleep, baby. Get some rest."

—OR—

Humans are banned from touching other species in the galaxy, but George, a cat-hybrid, takes a leap of faith and lets the human aboard his ship, Dream, pet him. It awakens a side of George he's desperate to satisfy, and Dream is more than willing to meet all of George's needs.
