And the oposite happens with wlw like i cannot for the love of my life connect with the asian sapphic representation😭 but the western??? i feel deranged about it, i wonder why this is🤔

I have enough spite contained within me to fist fight the sun. I hate how bright it is and if I could, I would turn it off please and thank you very much.

when you say he’s grieving through his work do you mean it literally? as in dealt with/dealing with something or just speculation?
No I mean very literally. I think Phi Aof deleted/changed some posts about his father’s death but he did write about it at some point. I remember that the MC “funeral episode” aired around the one year anniversary of his death and that some shots (down to the clothes) mirrored reality. Moonlight Chicken was heavy with grief (losing someone, losing one’s hearing/autonomy, losing your illusions) and parenthood in post-Covid Thailand. Last Twilight will be different of course, but I also think that all this crepuscular vibe is going to meet the grieving Moonlight somewhere in there you feel me fam ?

Moonlight Chicken is ending this week, and I am definitely going to feel a void. Aof’s work has totally filled me these past few weeks, with MC and catching up with Bad Buddy.
I’m going to start Dark Blue Kiss next week to catch up with more Aof essentials, but friends, I’m wondering: would y’all also recommend He’s Coming To Me? @absolutebl recommends it for Ohm and his character’s coming out scene, but what do y’all think about the whole series? Ohm is incredible in 10 Years Ticket, and I’m enjoying catching up with his repertoire, but He’s Coming To Me seems to lean more towards a teen/younger audience. Thoughts?
(I was also thinking of Seven Days and Until We Meet Again to catch up on essentials. And I haven’t even begun contemplating the whole HIStory series and thinking about Taiwan!)

Me seeing all of y'all be happy that My School President nailed the landing, while my can't-compartmentalize-to-save-my-life ass is pre-crying about Gaipa's mom dying (Moonlight Chicken), the possibility that Chopper could die (Never Let Me Go), Hai Yi and Johnny probably being separated (HIStory 5), Joe and Army not ending up together if Alex doesn't figure this shit out (The Warp Effect), Hira and Kiyoi not getting back together until the movie (My Beautiful Man 2), and Shogun picking Ken over Mateo (Hit Bite Love).
I'm really happy for y'all, fam. Congrats. Yay!

Tonight my darling girlfriend took me on a romantic date to listen to a string quartet play A Cruel Angel’s Thesis in an ornately-decorated historic meeting room lit by hundreds of candles inside a giant Masonic Temple and it was exactly as awesome as it sounds, i.e. very awesome and everyone should be envious.

First, out of order
Wish I hadn't seen First in Moonlight Chicken before his other roles since I really didn't like Alan, because First defintely made Alan convincingly unhappy and angry, to the point that I was kinda "ugh, that actor who played Alan." But First in Not Me is a revelation. Up to Ep 7 so far and having a blast with this direct action gay clique, and Yok is very appealing and so different from Alan.
