▶ heavily ( obviously ) inspired by the 2012 podcast, welcome to nightvale. takes heavy inspiration from the formless host, cecil, and on occasion played as his direct inheritor to the podcast after his retirement.

▶ regularly talks into his phone to transcribe notes.

▶ an occult item collector, eldritch-touched enthusiast, and lover of monsters, and occasional murderer, again, occasional. more of a hobby he's dipping his fingers in at the moment. friend to angels, poker buddy to demons, very interesting one-night stand to the wretched and savage. living in a sort of "nexus point" for the strange, the odd, and the paranormal. however, he seems to be appearing more and more lately across the radio waves. nightvale is coming to you. it comes to welcome you. it comes for all of you.

▶ he was born into a family of eldritch bloodline; but really, who isn't these days? some royal in the line of the crawling chaos, but those are about as numerous as they are uninteresting. he's a gen z'er, he does what he wants, tradition be damned.

▶ his presents invites the sensation of.. uncanny valley. he's odd, he's wrong, but he looks like a person, he feels like one. smells like one? he's walking that fine line between right and just.. unfitting. he's a man who's just gotten too close, and he always came back, even when he shouldn't. even when what was left was bones, viscera, twitching muscle and blood. he has to welcome you.

▶ take care of the flesh, it's hiding more than you'd ever want to know. touching invites foreign sensations, highs, lows, and in many cases, bouts of psychosis. often the one dragging others into the den of beasts; prying open the dead wood of abandoned family homes, starting the seance, pricking his finger on the ancient dagger, scratching off the circle on a devil's circle.

cam had been here for nine weeks but it felt like an actual lifetime. she was away from her home. from her friends. from her family. and from coventry. she'd been trying to get used to everything here and being away from her family when she spotted someone and just knew, "oh my god, alex! alex when did you get here?" cam ran across the way to meet up with her sister, a grin on her face.

It was quite the day getting Po to UCD to have his tests done. As usual, we are blown away by our incredible vet team and morning caregiver who are some of the most badass women we know! After a couple of hours of trying to get our 600lb disabled guy into the trailer, Dr. Natalie finally had to sedate him, and he made the road trip, snoring and snuggled the whole way (swipe to see a pic we snapped of him cozy and sleeping as we arrived at the vet hospital). He woke up just in time to be loaded onto the forklift and taken to a warm and comfy hospital barn stall. That’s right... Po rode a forklift today... sitting up and nearly giving his mother a heart attack as he soared through the air. 🤦🏼‍♀️😳 He's now settled in with a pig patient across the aisle from him and a baby goat in a wheelchair next door. He's staying for at least a few days, and will be going under general anesthesia tomorrow morning. Putting a pig under is always dangerous, but he will be continually supervised by a team of anesthesiologists, and his medical team feels like this is the best course of action to see what’s going on with him. He'll have a stomach ultrasound, radiographs, and they'll try to do a dental exam and hoof trim while he's knocked out. They are going to try to also ultrasound his hips as well since they have the larger machines there to see if we can get more insight into his hip and spinal disability as well. she'd always wanted a sister, and then she'd found alex and it was like that wish had been answered. a missing piece of her was found. and before her eyes she felt like she was losing it again. she could feel her eyes losing their shine as she saw alex's response to her words. she didn't know what to do about it. grabbing her sister's hand might result in what it had the first time they'd met, especially if alex had seemingly no memories of her. and she didn't want to risk that sort of repetition. "alex. we're sisters. come on. what's gotten into you? this is crazy. we already had the whole discover your long lost twin witch sister phase of our lives."

◟ ⋆ ❛ alex  took  another  step  away  from  the  girl  ,  brows  furrowing  as  she  tried  to  make  sense  of  how  she  was  sharing  a  face  with  a  girl  she'd  never  met  before  ,  and  how  this  girl  seemed  to  know  exactly  who  she  was  .  was  she  dreaming  ?  she'd  had  weird  dreams  like  this  before  ,  but  she  was  nearly  positive  that  she  was  awake  .  “  what  are  you  talking  about  ?  ”  she  questioned  ,  confused  .  none  of  this  was  making  sense  to  her  ,  she  was  internally  panicking  but  trying  to  maintain  a  calm  demeanor  .  going  into  a  complete  freak  out  was  not  going  to  help  her  in  any  way  ,  she  knew  that  .  why  wouldn't  she  be  being  serious  ?  alex  wasn't  the  type  to  play  this  kind  of  joke  on  someone  .  “  who  are  you  ?  ”  she  asked  again  ,  a  little  more  demanding  this  time  .
