Hi my name is Cherryblossom Sakura Josephine Joanna Noriako Ryoko Kakyoin and I have long cherry red hair (that's how i got my name) pulled back in a ponytail with a braid and bouncy bangs and a big red curl that reaches my nose and shimmering brown eyes like a Cadbury milk chocolate bar and a lot of people tell me I look like my cousin Kakyoin (AN: if you don't know who he is get da hell out of here!). I'm not related to Mike Score but I wish I was because he's a major fucking hottie. I'm not(?) a Stand User but I'm pretty anyway. I have pale white skin. I'm also a student, and I'm going to go to a really prestigious college in Japan soon (I'm eighteen). I'm a prep (in case you couldn't tell) and I wear mostly business casual. I love Abercrombie & Fitch and I buy all my clothes from there. For example today I was wearing a white blouse with a big black belt around it, a matching black necktie, a black silky pencil skirt, spotted socks and black loafers. I was wearing Canmake foundation, Maybelline mascara and Victoria's Secret lipgloss. I was walking in Morioh. It was cloudy and overcast so there was no sun, which I was very unhappy about. A lot of delinquents stared at me. I put my middle finger up at them.

Howdy everyone. Today, I’ll talk about my feelings as of lately. Vent post if you will. If you’d like to read it and see some CDDH Hol Horse screenshots along the way, click “keep reading”.

To be frank, I haven’t been well physically and mentally. Too much happening all at once, in addition to my body and mind giving up to surrounding myself with people a lot. It’s more of a burn out, although I tend to not be too overly social, whether it’s here or in real life.

In terms of art, it’s been too slow. While I comprehend I should take my time, my device has been acting up too much that finishing anything is a hassle. It’s sapping my energy away to draw and actually enjoy it. Infuriating.

Unfortunately, I haven’t had time for myself due to how my personal life is. Too much stress. Too many breakdowns. Occupied beyond belief. I’ve been going out for walks often, which is a good distress for me, but even then, I have so few people to speak to. Even so, some of those few don’t say much. And when someone does, it means a lot to me. Though personally, I keep my emotions and feelings bottled up until I have the chance to express anything at all.

Lost. Abandoned. Frightened.

Many people have remained with me, and abandoned me, neglected me without a word, all at once. Or come back, only to leave again. I understand if others are busy, but leaving without a trace is not the way to go. It’s silence. And all I hear is the wind, chillingly crawling with the same words, “You’re annoying.”, “You’re the reason nobody likes you.”, “You’re a waste of time.” Anything of the sort.

Sometimes, people won’t tell me how they feel about me until it’s the last straw. Or never tell me how they felt about me to begin with silence. I never felt upset over abandonment ever since last year. Before that last year, I was so used to being alone and lonely, that I’ve grown to accept it. While I still do feel the same, I’ve been feeling more like a mess when it comes to getting thrown away in the trash when a person cuts me off with nothing to say. I understand if it’s my fault. But at the same time, how will I ever know..? Never, with the silence given to so many people I know.

Often, I feel all I do is tear up. Knowing I’m advancing nowhere. That my activity here is meaningless. Who am I truly making happy? Is it me? Others? Nobody? It’s probably nobody. I adore art, and won’t stop drawing. But there’s days I feel it’s pointless to carry on with art.

However, despite all this, Hol Horse has helped me feel less hopeless. He means too much to me now more than ever. Helped me carry on through the dark times I’m encountering. Thank you, Hol Horse. And thank you, to those who are my friends, and those who happen to like my content.

Thank you for reading this, if you have. I’ll still try to post whenever possible, but pardon for my mood if it’s ever off to anybody. My energy’s been rather low.

Yet another art trade with @mysteriousdragon2 !! No gonna lie, this drawing gave me some a hard time but I think I managed to fix it all up!

Hol Horse is East German? I thought he was American 'cause he's dressed like a cowboy.

Hol Horse being East German is just speculation on my part. It is, at best, just a headcanon.

I'll talk a bit about it under the cut since it's solely based on bits of translation from the Crazy Heartbreakers a.k.a. CDDH novel, which I have yet to read on my own (I just ordered the novel from Japan, so it's gonna take a while to reach me).

So in the novel, it was implied that Hol Horse was Eastern European. Hol was also an orphan living in an orphanage in what I assumed was a country within Central-Eastern Europe, since it was said the country no longer exists by 1998-1999 (the year of CDDH events). With that info, I pretty much narrow it down to the countries within the Eastern Bloc, and the ones that no longer exist were East Germany, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia, and the USSR.

In the novel, it was also implied that little Hol used to go to or sneak into cinemas to watch Wild West films, which was basically where he got his cowboy persona. The novel mentioned the films to be spaghetti Western, so they're most likely from outside of the Eastern Bloc, and the closest border to sneak that in would be West Germany.

Hence, why I assumed Hol Horse would be East German. Or at least he lived in an orphanage there. The novel never mentioned his family or the origin of his family, other than his unnamed mother who died giving birth to him.

Another reason I chose East Germany is that cinema was the 'it' thing in that state back then, after WWII and before the fall of the Berlin Wall. And Wild West films were produced extensively in East Germany (as well as in West Germany). So I thought it's only fitting that Hol would have access to so many Wild West films growing up.

But if considering his escape from the orphanage and eventually the country, and Yugoslavia being the only one from the Eastern Bloc that allowed its citizens to emigrate, it could also be possible he's from there since it has the easiest escape route. Then again, he had his Stand as a kid with enough power to punch an adult, so wherever he escaped from, Hol's alright.

Again. This is purely speculation on my part.

And it's new for me too. I've always kept the idea that Hol is either Mexican-Texan or some bloke from England who likes cowboys too much, but the novel kinda suggests otherwise. But I always keep in mind that whatever Hol Horse's real origin was, THEY ARE ALL VALID. I'm always open to headcanons and ideas of this silly cowboy, including his origins.

(fun fact: the novel kinda implied that Hol's mannerism and fashion was inspired by Clint Eastwood's cowboy characters, so that's honestly making my love for JotaHol up a notch)

This is just from skimming so far, but:

The story does not go into what happens after the manga's events.

Hol Horse still has his whole line about loose ends.

Pet Sounds (they finally put that space in) still does not seem to have a name for its Stand.

Karaiya is inexplicably called the Ultimate Singer. Not the Ultimate Thing, the Ultimate Singer.

We get a scene with Tomoko, and she says that she does not remember who saved Josuke. She doesn't even remember whether the blizzard was before or after his hospitalization.

It is implied that Josuke only did his hair up as a pompadour, respect for his hero aside, because his grandpa said that long bangs were bad for fights.
