I’m still behind on TMP, so I’ve only just met Celia… but why does she know suspicious amounts of TMA stuff? Like the tape recorders and “specific types” of cases?

okay but everyone in the OIAR is. weird. sam is apparently struggling with longlasting subconscious effects of a magnus institute encounter. alice is trying to convince everyone bones and sunlight aren't necessary for some sarcastic reason. colin is one computer error away from losing his whole paranoid sanity. gwen decides to deal with witnessing attempting murder by blackmailing her boss. celia has inter-dimensional knowledge and may or may not be part of a cult. lena uses reverse therapy as a hiring process and liaises with supernatural creatures. there is just. so. much. weirdness. to unpack here.

More designs for the magnus protocol and a rework of my Alice (gotta say, sfr kinda inspired me to see Alice differently) Alice will probably change again, but freckled ginger Celia is set in stone unless the show states otherwise!

I can’t believe in 5 weeks I’ll be working my actual adult job, which is why I only have time for doodling (thought you guys can probably expect me to draw needles, he’ll be taking Elias’ place as my tumblr sexy man)

Anyway, I’m on episode 7 and genuinely enjoying myself, I was expecting it to take more time to pick up on the plot like tma, but I like the faster pace of interesting thing happening with the main characters

In the Magnus archives, the tape recorders are the listeners, from the tapes POV. In the Magnus protocol Sam is the POV for new listeners, he's new, he's figuring things out. But now there's Celia who's like the POV for old listeners, she doesn't know how it's connecting, she knows what happened in the TMA world, etc.

Colin’s reaction to the phone recording!?! What does HE know? I really enjoy his character, so I’m a bit sad they’ve tossed him in the deep end so quickly, but I understand how it works into the story.

Also?? What the hell does Gwen want “in” so badly on?
