CRANES!!! I have shared this before: the chainsaw guitars, the pixie vocals, hypnotizing drums -heres the real deal in epic grunge era guitars without all that lousey punk and country rock to cheeze it out. Thanks, for nothing Seattle.

His name is another weird one I love to dance to. Just perplexing they were a thing that existed in the 90s at all, given how mysteriously unconventional they were. If it weren't for the Quay brothers, they may have never reached my ears. The bros shoulda never tarnished their great vision for Tool fans, but I guess ya gotta make the bucks sometime, afterall stop motion takes a lot of time, time is money therefor claymation isn't cheap. I usually share "Cant go on Without You" cuz its a great introduction -pure peak HMIA, but then I found this live footage posted of them playing some rando store and it just blew my mind. Their studio recorded versions are a complete 180 vibe from their live performance. I saw them live once, in the late 90s, and it was an odd sort of puppet show with happy folksy rock songs I never heard -even further away from the source material I knew LOL. They taught me about not having preconceived boundaries in music. I LOVEED them for it, although I'm not sure if it really helped their career dealing with promoters. I'm going to bonus add th recoded version and that "cant go" video here, so you dont have to go looking for em if youre even mildly curious. Also, I know how lazy I am, so why make a recommendation, expecting you to search, when I can just show it to you here?

Ah, time to explain my absence. I did want to post but guess who binged and was ashamed... lmao.

I ate 2500, 1700, 2000 cals then followed up with 990, 1107, 1180, and 1306. Then my latest mistake 2492 because of pizza. So there’s my shame in a brief list. I haven’t been following my original “healthy skinny” diet because I have been mulling some things over, mainly my priorities.

See, when I binged those first three days, I also had some brief flashes of “recovery,” funny how those only want to show up when you binge. Anyhow, my professor was talking about diets and how your health is the most precious thing you have, without it you are nothing. Keep in mind, he’s in his seventies so it’s not like he’s spouting this for funsies. So, that got me thinking, you know. One of the reasons I want to lose weight so that people will value me because I know they do more if you’re skinny but I don’t want to be useless. My body is pathetic enough and I need to drag this body and make it do things. It’s a terrible semester already so I need some more energy, if that will make me do my work. To me, my goals are to keep my brain function up so that I have not just good grades, great grades. My other goal is to give my body enough to transition. Taking medicine is useless if my body will just fail to use it. This is why I was eating 1500 before. I don’t think I’m quite willing to return to that but I’m aiming for a middle ground.

Thus, I have modified the “healthy skinny” to fit what I want. It feels pathetic posting this on what is mostly an ed blog but this be a vent blog, anyhow, there’s quite a few days above starving. I have decided that the lowest I’m willing to go is 800 and the highest 1350. I cut it down to 60 days because let’s be real, my ADHD ass can’t process 3 days, never mind 90 days. 31 days will be spent under 1200 but it’s better than 90/90 under 1200. It’s on average 200 calories above but even that will allow me to make meals instead of snacks. Sure, it’s less calories but who wants to snack all day and still can’t say you made your protein intake? Meals taste so much better than 150 on cheez-its, 40 on tomatoes, and 160 on protein shakes. I don’t even like protein shakes that much but for a 135 more calories I can get a whole ass meal and the same protein. Or at least that’s another excuse I’m using.

In other news, got a lot of kpop/diet stuff coming on my for you page, so I guess I just got into kpop and now I’m watching diet vlogs. Makes me feel better to watch them lose weight when I be struggling. Possessed by urge to look up how to do some of those dances for cardio reasons. Honestly, I have always liked the thought of dancing but it’s always girls. At least I could learn the dance to some boy bands which wouldn’t make me feel that much better but it’d be somewhat less embarrassing. I guess both are sexual but one is easier to explain if someone walks. In that vein, suddenly want to get a new wardrobe too.

ive been into kpop since the second gen always as a girl group stan haha! ive recently been getting into the newer debuting groups and I really have so much hope for all of them!

blackpink is such a shame bc they had me thinking that this comeback was going to be insane, but the mv itself lacked a theme. I did hear that this was just a pre release and the “real” title track is coming soon but I doubt they would title a b-track pink venom and name their album that as well. time will tell.

Hehehhehe not at all!!!! I love talking about kpop. I've been a stan since the 3rd generation, although I started watching dramas and getting into the kpop world towards the end of the second.

I was a huge BTS stan up until boy with luv, in which I thought they were starting to release poorer music (mots7 being an exception) and big hit milking them unrespectfully, poor them. When they started being more famous internationally I was very happy, but I also felt like the quality declined ovr all (I'm happy for the hiatus, and i think it will do them well musically. I want them happy, not with forced interactions). Aside fro. BTS I am not a huge bg stans, but I do like EXO and Seventeen, mostly. AND SHINEE ofc, my first listen to kpop.

I am more of a gg stan, specially my ultimate ultimate loves:RED VELVET. To this day even if Im not in kpop anymore they are still my fav group, I love their concepts and how well they pull it off and I do think there are a few gg whose discography is as versatile and varied as Red Velvet. They are underappreciated by the int fandom, and underappreciated in SM, and I hate SM not pushing them as they should because I truly believe that musically they are one of the best groups out there.

I also like Twice very much (much more since Fancy, which is more mature), GG (ofc), and soloists like Sunmi and Chunga. For the newest generation, damn, I really love GIDLE. I feel like they are the true descendants of red velvet in terms of versatility and talent, but with the plus of soyeon. And Stay C: those girls are gold, the vocals are amazing. What I dont like about the 4th generation is how they've forgotten about vocals and music and it's all dance and flashy moves and flashy clothes... I was there for the music :(
