Holding your daughter on your hip, she fiddled with your necklace. Today was another day of lockdown, and you thought it would be a fun day to go live on Instagram with Chris, and your daughter. A little fun in lockdown with your family never hurt anyone.

You set up your phone in a mount on your bathroom dresser; you sat on one of the chairs you had brought in for both you and Chris to sit on. Chris was in a work meeting for one of his upcoming series being released in a few days, so he had to finish that off before he could join. However, he insisted that you could start without him, and he'd come in when he had finished.

You smiled, sitting your daughter up-right on your lap, holding her careful with both your arms hugging her small frame to make sure she would fall off. It wasn't hard to entertain your daughter. She was just like her dad; she loved exploring new things and she already had her eyes on your bracelets. You turned your live stream on having the three-second timer before you were live for over three million people.

You smiled, waving to all the incoming viewers and comments, "Well, hello there, everyone" you chuckled. "I'm glad you all could make it to our quarantine live-stream." you were patiently watching as all the comments came pouring through your feed, smiling at each of them. A minute had not even gone by, and you had over 100,000 viewers on the live stream. Your small daughter squealed as she played with your hands and rings. Watching her, you cuddled her a bit closer to you.

"Alright guys, well, thank you all for coming. I posted on my story not too long ago for you all to send in some questions for both Chris and me to answer, so I'll go through a few before Chris comes on" you smiled, grabbing Chris' phone which he left with you so you could use yours to live stream and his to go through the questions.

Holding the phone in your hand, your daughter begins to play with the screen, causing you to chuckle "hey... that's daddy's phone, don't break it, or we are going to get in trouble", the reply of incoherent mumbles was enough for you. You turned your gaze back up to the camera, smiling lightly "and we also have baby Evans with us today" your daughter giggled and did a slight wave to the camera.

you scroll to the very top of questions and start from there, "Okay, the first question, how old is Baby Evans?" you chuckle, looking down at your daughter. "How old are you love?" you asked her. Your daughter's big blue eyes looked up at you, bouncing her on your leg, you knew she wasn't going to answer, but her reactions are always the cutest. "She will be turning two in September" you smiled.

Scrolling down the list, you look for another simple one you could answer without Chris "ah, okay! how did Chris and I meet" you smile.

"well, we met through mutuals..." you laughed before continuing your story. "one of my good friends Sebastian Stan, was throwing a little birthday party, and he happened to introduce me to Chris."

You were about to continue when you heard your husband's voice behind you, "That happened almost six years ago", he smiled before coming to take his seat next to you. "Sorry I'm late, everyone", he chuckled, kissing you. "Dadda!" your daughter squealed, making grabby hands at him. Chris smiled, taking your daughter off your lap for him to hold on to his. You let a small laugh out through your nose "good memory, hon", you joked.

One of his hands held your daughter's belly so she could sit up-right and the other hand made its way around your back and to your waist, pulling you a bit closer to him. "Did you want to continue the story of how we met home?" you looked up at him and cheekily smiled. He laughed softly, shaking his head. "Alright, alright".

Your daughter was sitting on her dad's lap playing with his wedding ring, easily entertained that one. "Sebastian had rented out a villa for the weekend, so we all had our rooms. I got a little drunk on the night of his birthday and woke up sleeping on y/n's couch," you chuckled at the memory. "I don't know how I got there, but all I remember is a beautiful lady walking in handing me some pain killers along with an excellent breakfast."

You smiled as you sat there, watching the comments roll through at how sweet the story was and that Chris did score. You spoke up "then he asked me out on Sunday... the rest is history, huh?" you looked at Chris, who nods in agreement.

"Next quessstiiiooonn" Chris excitedly asked, "hmm... okay... oh", you laughed, showing Chris the question. Chris turns his head, squinting at the camera. "Yes, our daughter was very much planned." you nodded to his answer "that is true."

Crossing your leg over the other, you scrolled through, looking for more questions, "are we planning on having more kids, love?" you turned your head slightly to met your husband's eyes. "Oh definitely", he smirked before giving your ass a firm slap which caused your body to Buck up a little. "Babe", you warned him, laughing, "Yes, we do."

"Someone asked if we will ever reveal what our daughter's name is." you shrugged, "Not for a while. We want our daughter to grow up with that freedom. You all know how the media can be." Chris added, "Our daughter's name is baby Evans until further notice" he smiled, rubbing your back softly. "Did you want to look through the questions, love? Choose a few?" you asked Chris, who nodded; he took the phone from your hand gently, scrolling through.

You were watching your daughter while he took his time choosing another question; noticing she was hungry, you opened up a bag of snacks. Handing her one to eat, you adjusted the camera to show the audience what she was eating. "Yummy?" you asked to which she nodded. "Ah-ha, What is your dream job?" Chris looked at you smiling; you rested your cheek on the palm of your hand, looking at him. "I think the one I have now", you smiled, looking back to the camera.

"It's not a dream, but it used to be. If you don't know, I'm a registered psychologist. I specialise in helping children and young adolescents."

The bright smile you had upon your face, "my dream was to help the young ones who are struggling, learn from them and teach them how to overcome what they're going through." you took a deep breath. "Hence, I hope I'm doing just that", you turned to your daughter "not that it's a job but being a Mom has also been a dream for me." you chuckled.

"how about you, my love?"

You looked over to Chris, who had looked as if he had fallen in love all over again. You rested your arm on his shoulder, softly massaging his neck. "Being a dad", he looked at you ", and I have you to thank for that." he leaned in to kiss your lips softly.

The pair of you went through a few more questions on the live stream, also inviting Scott and his boyfriend into the mix. It was getting late, and your daughter had fallen asleep on her dad. You chuckled, watching your daughter sleep. Both you and Chris said your goodbyes and thanked everyone for watching.

"We will see you next time", you whispered before ending the live stream. Chris got up, cradling the pair of your daughter in his arms. You kissed her goodnight before he took her to her room.

A few moments later, Chris came back in, t-shirt off. He got into bed with you, pulling you closer so he could hug you.

"That was fun", he laughed, kissing your lips softly, to which you returned. "Very, very fun", you chuckled, turning the lights off.

Lollapalooza is officially one week away, and wow does that feel good to say. As one of the first music festivals to welcome us back to festival season after a far too long hibernation, the annual festival, hosted at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, is set to bring the musical stylings of Tyler, the Creator, Miley Cyrus, Foo Fighters, Megan Thee Stallion, and plenty more. But, unless you’ve been living under a rock, chances are that you’re already more than familiar with the artists set to headline. So why not figure out who to see while you’re waiting to scream along to Call Me If You Get Lost.

From collectives who are moving beyond the need for genres to music that is just as likely to make you cry as it is laugh, these are 15 ones to catch (who aren’t headlining) at Lollapalooza 2021.

Peach Tree Rascals

When & Where: Sunday, 2 p.m. at Bud Light Seltzer Stage

Peach Tree Rascals’ Lollapalooza set has been a very, very long time coming. The Bay Area–bred collective has been steadily making waves with their genre-bending approach to indie-pop that calls to mind a more idyllic, lovesick BROCKHAMPTON (an act you should most definitely catch as well). And despite emerging a growing fan-favorite in the last couple years, the aforementioned rascals have yet to play a show, ever. With a headline tour that was canceled due to COVID, Lollapalooza will officially be making history as the first-ever Peach Tree Rascals set.

Tate McRae

When & Where: Saturday, 5:15 p.m. at Grubhub Stage

Tate McRae’s rise through the pop stratosphere has felt meteoric. First gaining fame at the young age of 13 for being the first Canadian finalist on So You Think You Can Dance, McRae has certainly come a long way to stand as one of the most promising voices in pop. With a vocal range more than powerful enough to deliver haunting dark pop ballads like “you broke me first” one moment and stand side-by-side with Khalid on the summer bop “working” the next, there are no two ways about it. McRae is a pop star in the making and this is your chance to catch her before her inevitable headliner status.

The self-described improvisational artist creates all his songs from scratch, resulting in an experience where no two live shows are quite the same. Come for the comedy, stay for the absolute dancefloor bangers.

Dayglow

When & Where: Thursday, 3:45 p.m. at Lake Shore Stage

Dayglow is sure to bring a smile to your face and put a pep in your step. Apologies if I sounded like my grandparents there, but there’s no denying the sonic sunshine that is Dayglow’s rapturous brand of indie-pop. Paying homage to the dance-inducing melancholy of ‘80s pop duets, it’s difficult not to get swept up in the Austin, Texas–bred artist’s hypnotic vision. It’s the sort of euphoric music that feels almost tailor-made for the return of festival season—drenched in sunny rays and brimming with infectious sincerity.

Giveon

When & Where: Friday, 4:45 p.m. at T-Mobile Stage

Before his breakout moment on Justin Bieber’s “Peaches,” Giveon was already charting his path for R&B domination. With an angelic and haunting baritone, each R&B rumination carries with it a palpable weight—an emotional turmoil that is only elevated by the minimalistic soundscapes which allow the proper space for his transfixing voice to fully shine. With an impressive debut album, 2020’s Party Favors, under their belt, this set feels only the beginning for the bewitching indie outfit. 

jxdn

When & Where: Sunday, 3 p.m. at Bud Light Seltzer Stage

jxdn is the latest artist to make good on pop-punk’s continued resurgence. The first signing to Travis Barker’s DTA Records, the breakout singer-songwriter has found a fan in not only the blink-182 star but in Machine Gun Kelly, who jxdn is set to tour with this fall and makes an appearance on his debut album, Tell Me About Tomorrow. With an acclaimed debut album in the books and some of pop-punk’s biggest stars behind him, jxdn is sure to deliver a Lollapalooza debut for the ages. 

AG Club

When & Where: Friday, 7:45 p.m. at Grubhub Stage

AG Club, an abbreviation of avant-garde club, is a genre-less music collective that shares a lot in common with fellow Lollapalooza must-see act, Peach Tree Rascals, including a collaborative single. But don’t get things twisted, this Bay Area collective has their own vision in store for you. With a brash, in-your-face attitude, AG Club is likely to draw comparisons to the Saturation era of BROCKHAMPTON and glory days of ASAP Mob, but with their introspective, omnivorous approach, they deftly manage to emerge as an act all their own. If you want to go where the party is, don’t miss AG Club.

Tai Verdes

When & Where: Friday, 1:45 p.m. at Bud Light Seltzer Stage

Where would we be without TikTok? I, for one, would be without my preferred form of short-form entertainment and the world be without the infectious pop-R&B stylings of one Tai Verdes. Originally working at Verizon before his breakout single, “Stuck in the Middle,” became a viral hit on TikTok, Verdes is now one of the most promising and rapidly rising acts in music today. And with his debut album, TV, the viral star proved himself no one-hit-wonder, delivering a collection of tracks that span a range of emotions and genres that we cannot wait to experience live.

Dominic Fike

When & Where: Thursday, 7:45 p.m. at Grubhub Stage

Dominic Fike is a musical chameleon. First breaking out with his unassuming radio hit “3 Nights,” to only jump into the absolute vibe that is the Kenny Beats–assisted “Phone Numbers,” and culminate it all with the genre-spanning debut album, What Could Possibly Go Wrong, Fike is an artist whose limitations seem limitless. And with his debut album, Ugly Is Beautiful, now out in the wild after a much-hyped cancellation and subsequent surprise release, Tree has more than his fair share of music to pull from. Plus, given his penchant for going in and out of retirement like he’s trying to break a record only known to him, it’s probably best not to miss this set.

When & Where: Sunday, 2:45 p.m. at Tito’s Handmade Vodka Stage

RMR originally made headlines with his breakout single, “RASCAL,” a transfixing country trap ballad that saw the rapper donning a black balaclava and Saint Laurent bulletproof vest while rapping over an interpolation of Rascal Flatts’ “Bless The Broken Road.” Since then, the anonymous rapper has been spotted hitting the town with Sharon Stone and embracing his penchant for melodic trap in the Westside Gunn, Future, Lil Baby, and Young Thung–loaded Drug Dealing Is a Lost Art. Existing at the fusion of trap country and melodic rap, RMR’s Lolla set is one you’re not likely to forget anytime soon.

Tina and her parents were sold to Hyperion to become test subjects for Jack's slag mutation experiments, an event which led to the deaths of her parents. She escaped their fate using a grenade that she had hidden in her dress at her mother's insistence, and once she was free of Hyperion's reach she vowed revenge on the man that had sold her family: Flesh-Stick.

Involvement

Borderlands 2

Tiny Tina's demolitions expertise is called into action when a Hyperion supply train believed to be carrying a Vault key needs to be stopped. With that objective in sight, she then sets the Vault Hunters to the task of finding two rockets (which she refers to as 'badonkadonks') to carry a 'suicide'-bomber toy each, and then to set them on target.

Her collaboration with the Vault Hunters continues when she has them gather items and guests for a very special tea party. During the final mission Tina will contact the Vault Hunters and wish them luck in stopping Hyperion and even reads them a poem repeatedly telling the Vault Hunters to 'kill Jack'.

Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage

Tina appears in a supporting role in Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage. Initially she is hired by Mad Moxxi to help the Vault Hunters train prior to battling Motor Momma, but also asks their assistance in obtaining the autograph of her third favorite mass-murderer, Sully the Stabber, as well as walking her "puppy", a Badass Fire Skag named Enrique. She also provides commentary on many of the Vault Hunters' actions throughout the course of the DLC.

Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep

Tina takes on the role of the 'Bunker Master' for the game 'Bunkers & Badasses', where she is shown to be bad at this, by fumbling in such ways as creating impossible fights early on and not balancing the gameplay in certain areas. The real problems underlying Tina's mental state (at that time) start becoming more apparent as the player progresses, being obsessed with eating only crumpets and constantly trying to insert a manifestation of the now deceased Roland whenever she wants to, to the dismay of the other Vault Hunters. Tiny Tina's character develops over the course of the campaign and she learns to accept Roland's death.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Tina makes her first appearance during the game while Lilith was interrogating Athena, inviting the Vault Hunters to play another round of Bunkers and Badasses, but was turned down. Later, after Athena finishes telling her story, Tina introduces herself and requests Athena to tell a story about fighting a raid boss. As she had no idea what a raid boss was, she "came up" with a story about fighting one (in this case, the raid boss being an enhanced version of The Sentinel). After that, Tina requests Athena to tell the story of her working for Handsome Jack again.

Borderlands 3

At the time of Borderlands 3, Tina is presumed to be around 20 years old. She is still part of the Crimson Raiders B-Team along with Brick and Mordecai. The team is hired by Wainwright Jakobs to rescue his partner Sir Hammerlock, but after they fail to report back on their progress, Jakobs requests the Vault Hunter to go The Anvil to investigate setting up the story mission Hammerlocked. Tina's code name during the mission is 'Crunk Bunny'. Tina requests 'ingredients' for her 'Pizza' (bomb), composed of 'sauce' (nitroglycerin), 'onions' (wires) and 'ham' (a detonator). She then asks the Vault Hunter to deliver the pizza, which is to blow up the door to the structure where Hammerlock is being held. After successfully rescuing Hammerlock, she declares that the B-team's work is done and they leave Eden-6. Tina is found later on Devil's Razor back on Pandora, where she or Brick will give the mission Boom Boom Boomtown. She asks the Vault Hunter for help in winning back their new home and base of operations, recently named by Tina as "Boom Town", by fighting off COV that have been sneaking in thru a tunnel that Brick is keeping the COV locked inside.

She is introduced as an old friend of Roland's and she has a picture of them together in her room. Roland also mentions beforehand that, "I've saved her life a few times, and she has saved mine more times than I can count."

In Borderlands 2, there are a few unique weapons that are associated with Tiny Tina. These weapons include pink hearted camouflage and/or stuffed bunny image decals.

Tina's voice is performed by Ashly Burch, sister of Anthony Burch - lead writer of Borderlands 2. (The two are also a part of the web series Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin'?.) She is also credited with the voice of the cursed gun, Bane.

Tina has unusual gender-specific dialogue, referring to both male and female Vault Hunters as "girl". She also makes a number of sexual comments in an appreciative manner in regards the female members of her tea party, whilst during the Assault on Dragon Keep storyline she confesses to liking Maya in The Siren's invitation, asking if Maya likes her in turn. Additionally, her original motivation for helping the Vault Hunters train for Mad Moxxi was going to be due to her having a crush on Mad Moxxi.

Tina switches verbal mannerisms frequently. Her speech styles include a stereotypical inner-city American speech pattern, little girl speech patterns, stereotypically pretentious British English speech, to randomly violent and murderous speech, and others.

Trivia

There is an Easter egg related to Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin'? in the Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage. On the back of Tiny Tina's bus is a pixel drawing of Papa Burch riding a unicorn from the HAWP episode 'Sleep Is Death'.

Roland recognizes her as one of the greatest demolitions experts on Pandora and a picture of the two can be seen inside of her home.

Tiny Tina is mentioned by Brick on a mission in Sawtooth Cauldron as he recalls carrying her on his shoulders as they fought together. In the end credits, it is shown that they worked together again in this manner cleaning out the remaining Hyperion forces.

ExotropiaTina has an intermittent exotropia (lazy eye) in her left eye. This was originally due to a glitch, but the developers enjoyed it, so they purposefully left it in. This has also passed on to Borderlands 3, as her left eye will occasionally twitch while talking.

In NowGamer, an interview revealed that there is part of a mission removed from the main game involving Tina. Originally, when telling of Roland's death, the players were to head out to Tiny Tina's home and tell her the sad news. It described her being deeply affected by it, thanking the players for telling her, asking them to leave, and locking herself in her workshop to mourn. Anthony Burch, lead writer and the source of this news, says they regret they could not include this scene into the game. It was supposed to be the only moment in the game she loses her peppy mania [1].

Her tea party place card is labeled "Lady Tina of Blowupyourfaceheim"

On May 24, 2013, Tina took over the @ECHOcasts Twitter (previously owned by Krieg).

Tiny Tina's parents have officially been confirmed dead as of the sixth episode of Inside the Box, entitled "Fart Jokes and Tragedy".

In the Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary DLC, Tiny Tina, Mordecai and Brick form a team simply named "The B-Team".

Tiny Tina refers to Brick as "Brick-papa" and Mordecai as "Mordy-mom". This is further mentioned when Brick says "Don't talk like that to your mom." to Tina.

It is revealed in Sheega's All That that Sheega is an ex-girlfriend of Tiny Tina.

ECHO logs in Devil's Razor reveal that Tiny Tina has dated multiple individuals, broke up with all of them, and staged a wedding to make money from the wedding gifts sent by her exes.

We made it! 2020 is finally coming to an end (hopefully not along with the world). You’ve finally mastered your TikTok algorithm and only get served the hits. You’ve mastered the perfect rotation for your Zoom backgrounds. You’ve broken the Guinness World Record for consecutive hours doom-scrolling. You’ve finished reading White Fragility and have made the pledge to be a better ally. This year is going down in the history books as one of the toughest in our generation due to the tragic losses of life due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to COVID-19, the entire music industry has come to a stand still and a lot of our colleagues have lost their jobs and the future of our industry is going to look very different. As sobering as this year has been, we’ve all had to take a long look at ourselves and make a decision about who we wanted to be.

But there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel and 2021 is already starting to look up. As usual, music is one of the things that always helps us get through tough times and 2020 was no different. We honestly may have needed it even more this year. As we try to put the tragedies of 2020 behind us, and look forward to the return of live music, being outside, and seeing our loved ones in person, our staff would like to share our favorite things that helped us survive this year and some of the things we’re excited to hear more of in 2021.
