I made a tier list for Pokemon Masters voices for all characters as of the current update. 

Definitive voices are those that I just can’t unhear as the voice for the character eclipsing all others. Good voices are those that do just fine but either could have done better, suffer from comparison to better voices in other renditions of the character, or sound too similar to other renditions for it to matter. Bad voices are just...ugh, just what the Hell were they thinking!?

Pokemon villain voiceclaims, inspired by this vid here.

Giovanni keeps his actual voice from the anime ‘cause Ted Lewis’ take is iconic. (Other good voices would be Jamieson Price’s take in Origins and Keith Silverstein’s in Masters.)

Maxie is Tom Kenny, Simon Petrikov from Adventure Time voice. (Marc Thompson’s take in the main anime and Lex Lang’s take on ORAS Maxie in Generations are fine too), while Archie is Clancy Brown, Baron Praxis from Jak II voice (again, his main anime voice by Sean Schemmel and Generations voice by Jamieson Price are fine too, particularly the latter.)

Cyrus is Corey Burton with a less robotic Brainiac voice, clip taken from Phineas and Ferb. (Other good voices would be Peter Jessop and Mike Sorich’s take in Generations. Sean Schemmel was okay but that kind of voice and performance fit better with Kodai in M13.)

Ghetsis is Richard Doyle, Enoch/Forever King Driscoll from Ben 10 voice. (Other good voices would be David Dayan Fisher, Mark Hamill, and yes, Bill Rogers had he only done the voice closer to his King Rhoam from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Patrick Seitz delivered a good performance in Generations but it’s not quite what I hear for Ghetsis.)

Colress, like Giovanni, keeps his actual voice from the anime, Eli James. (Other good voices for him would be Bill Timoney, Nolan North, and Chris Niosi’s take in Generations. But if you for a second think that Sean Schemmel did a good Colress, then I DISAGREE!)

Lysandre is JB Blanc, a VA who actually is French, with some lines from H.D Quinn’s take from the anime in there too, and the one line from his Generations VA (Imari Williams?) that didn’t sound like shit too (Other good voices would be Gary Krawford and Lance Reddick).

Guzma is Andrew Kishino, Janja from The Lion Guard voice - seriously the most perfect fit for the character that I can imagine. (Any other voices even almost as perfect, I’ve yet to hear.)

Lusamine is Laura Post, Valentine from Skullgirls voice - casting Ragyo is pretty uninspired, but at least she doesn’t have to sound like Ragyo! (Her voice in the main anime is great too.)

Faba is Keith Ferguson, Megamind from the Megamind video game voice. (Only other most fitting voices I can imagine for him are Ted Lewis’ Escargoon voice from Kirby, Right Back At Ya! voice or Jim Rash’s Gyro Gearloose from the new DuckTales. And yes, his voice in the main anime dub is awful. Don’t think that needed to be said.)

I am not very good at things like this but here is a long post i wrote on the bus

I find colress so fascinating cause he does his studies out of just . Wanting to know what happens, even if things get hurt. But he isn’t truly evil, I believe.

In B2W2 he is a Team Plasma Boss and fights alongside them just to further his research. In SM/USUM he is still a researcher, but he is not “evil” per say. He still looks into what brings out the true strength of Pokemon through Z-powers since those are Alola’s gimick thing, but I do believe he was mentioned in XY to be looking into mega evolution!

In Alola he actually helps the player out in some cases by giving them a TM and important items! In USUM I think he is apart of the whole Necrozma group who are trying to get it back ro normal. Thats when he gives the player an end-game item,, he also dresses like a fridge in Alola and i can’t tell if he’s freezing cold in there or scorching hot … oh and he is in the battle tree as an encounter!

In the Rainbow Rocket special episode in USUM he appears to help the player out as well! Though he is invisible and in hiding until something major happens so he needs to reveal himself to help, when the alternate world Ghetsis (Team Plasma’s old leader) holds another character hostage, Colress literally sends him back with a device he made. Right after saying how much he HATES him, no matter what universe he is, he will always hate any type of Ghetsis. good!

I am not too knowledgeable on the manga since I don’t really read it, but I do know he gets arrested so I think thats really funny.

I forgot to mention, he is a steel type specialist! Steel types can be pretty bulky so they can definitely become a challenge when you battle him unprepared! I do know he is a tech role in Pokemon Masters,, and he also took me several months to get because i have the worst luck EVER!!!

There are probably things I missed or didn’t get right, so if anyone can correct me please let me know !!! I just Really REALLY like colress.
