Abandoned at birth by Rick Sanchez (C137) for being born with a cleft lip, he raised himself on the streets of a desert planet, desecrated by a nuclear war.

Like his father, he, himself, is very smart, hence why he was able to perform surgery on his cleft lip, as it was once one of his biggest insecurities as a man. Jealous by the fact other 'Ricks' had their very own Morty's, he decided to adopt a mule foal, which he named 'Morty."

Morty died, infected by the mutants now called chupacabras. Ricardo Sanchez De la Cruz Jr., struck with grief, swore to kill all chupacabras with the power of the aswangs, who infected him after a fierce battle while he was resting at camp.

The only thing stopping him from turning into one of them--the aswangs--is his undying rage and willpower to avenge his dead mule.

This is the story of a once abandoned man, with a cleft lip, fired by the hatred of his dark past.
