clarence is all fun and games until you take into account just how much mental issues these poor kids go through like am i the only one notices???

jeff struggles with not only paranoia and hypochondria but also puts pressure on himself to constantly be the best, this is first displayed as early as season 1

a legit canon line from brady in talent show is “i’m the only person in the world without a talent, i might as well not even exist” and this kid goes through the entire series experiencing this self loathing and social awkwardness with the only person even trying to help him being clarence himself

belson relies entirely on validation from his father because to him, he is everything he wants to be. and since mr noles didn’t really think about how hard paying attention to a child would be with the type of life he has, belson doesn’t get this validation, and therefore ends up thinking he doesn’t deserve it in the first place and decides nobody cares about him

breehn is constantly being pushed into a box by his parents not only with clothing and self expression in that sense, but also with his personality and every single little thing he is and isn’t allowed to do. thankfully though, we can see he eventually breaks out of this during the adult scene in a sumoful mind

and the boy himself, clarence, which. i don’t know if anyone else has really let this sink in but i definitely think about it way too much. he must’ve witnessed mary and damien (her ex) fighting and eventually splitting during his early childhood which HAD to be traumatising, and i feel like this also explains his constant need to help and be there for everyone and seeing himself as The Person Who Breaks Up Fights, and how visibly uncomfortable he is with how jeff and sumo were acting in the breakup

My ode to Clarence: a home release of the entire show.

I had this planned as the day was nearer, so that meant making an original cover rather than rely on promo art with just Clarence, Jeff and Sumo; I wanted Mary, Chad and their friends alongside them.

Mary, Chad, Amy, Belson, Dustin, Nathan, Percy, Kimby, and Breehn were all made prior as separate character images, which took me around an hour and a half in placing each character, putting consistent shading on the right-sided characters, and adding Percy as I never made an existing vector before (mostly because he was my least favorite character). Meanwhile, Clarence, Sumo and Jeff, close to the cover, were made for this, which took me around an hour or so less by tracing existing art I made of them to save time.The "The Complete Series" text was made by tracing the letters from the show's end credits rather than make them in the same font as the title. All this was a big task, but to quote Clarence, it was worth it.

The DVD cover was taken from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends: The Complete Series, with its cover removed with PhotoLayers.

Originally, I almost thought about making a version of this without the digital code, which is basically the Blu-ray Disc logo in place of the "Blu-ray + Digital Code" text

Now Clarence has been my favorite show ever since around 2015 and I still love it to this day. If you love the show, too, express your love in the comments.

My fan-made Clarence movie! (WIP)

I've been working on this for a few months and I'm really proud of it so far! I'm taking a small break from writing due to mental health so the next part may take a bit. I really hope you enjoy what I have so far!

PLOT: Summer is finally here, and Clarence and friends are ready to spend it! After a very long bus ride from Arizona, the kids make it to Camp Scavenger in the Maple Wood Forest, and they’re excited for adventure! However, to the dismay of the kids, Camp Scavenger isn’t what they thought it would be. The camp is constantly all about safety at every corner. No risks, no adventures, and no fun allowed! The kids are bummed at the thought of staying in this lame camp for a whole week until something sparks their interest. On the first night, they are told a story about a secret stash of fudge on the peak of the Maple Wood Mountains. When they return to their cabin, the children all plan to venture up the mountains in hopes of finding a delightful stash of fudge. At the crack of dawn, Clarence, Sumo, Jeff, Breehn, Belson, Percy, Nathan, Kimby, and Chelsea ditch the camp and set off on their quest. Unfortunately, the teachers catch on to their escape and hightail after the troublemakers. Will the children survive out in the hands of Mother Nature? Will the teachers catch up to them? Is the secret stash of fudge even real? Clarence and pals will soon find out in this exciting adventure through the wilderness!

I can’t find it but my best post was ‘Jurassic World except Clarence and Jeff are the two main leads (Dinosaur man and Manager lady respectively), Sumo and Percy are the brother characters, Belson is the villain, the raccoons from ‘Rise n’ Shine’ are the raptors, the mountain lion is the Indominus Rex and Chimney is the T-Rex’

I present a new poster to one of my Cartoon Network Studios feature film ideas: Clarence’s Big Break. I was inspired by the We Bare Bears: The Movie poster and the Penguins of Madagascar’s second trailer’s use of Kenny Loggins’ song “Danger Zone”. This took only two days, if you were wondering.

Started with Clarence, Jeff and Sumo. I’d put them above the poster, towering over the supporting characters below. I gave them each a pose, in tradition to how most movie posters show the lead characters with a random pose. Adding a gradient below their legs was the big chore. It took about 10 minutes to find one you can use online, especially a simple one. The one I stumbled upon Tuxpi.com, which only made the trio part 1,800 pixels.

Next was the sun. It was done by adding layers of colors together, with yellow being the biggest for obvious reasons.

Next were Amy, Kimby, Breehn, Dustin and Nathan. Inspired by Clarence and Jeff in their own West Aberdale clothes, I chose giving them new pairs of clothes. They were given their own walking poses. Giving them the right amount of shading was difficult as the sun was behind them. After looking at some screenshots of the episode "Nature Clarence", I used Windows Live Movie Maker's brightness tool and got the "okay" look of shading that matched the screenshots.

Next was the ground. I'd made a ground base when I was making the Kimby draft beforehand. It was originally gonna be a road, but I chose a desert-like setting since Amy and co. were traveling to El Paso. Shading was added in coinciding with the gang's.

After I got all my pieces done, it was time to put 'em together! The poster was shrunken to 1,800, since the aforementioned trio part was created at 1,800. After the poster's detail was done, the last thing was adding the details like the "From the Creators of..." tagline, the title logo, the release date, studio logos, et cetera.

That was a tough task like all my others, but it was all worth it.
