I've always loved the idea of Bruce and Clark meeting as kids but forgetting once they get older. Then I thought, what if the way they remember they'd met was from something really small.

Like, once they start dating, Bruce reveals to Clark that one of his comfort foods is dinosaur nuggets because when he was a kid, he and Alfred stayed with a family in the midwest for a few days when their car broke down and he ate dinosaur nuggets with the boy who lived there late one night.

Clark is then assaulted with the memory of waking up at 2am to cook dinosaur nuggets because the kid who was staying with his family for a few days had never had them before and he wanted to make sure the cute boy who's name had slipped his mind in recent years, got to try dinosaur nuggets at least once before leaving.
